  1. Pretty sure you don't lower it with that console. The level changing console is on a machine, so that is not it. Try searching elsewhere for a route, pretty sure it automatically lowers later. You can try one of the upper doors, or backtrack until you get into that spot. If not, you may want to try an earlier save file.

  2. Perhaps you can try a terrain-based team? There's a variety of pokemon that can change terrain, at least eventually, and Sylveon is one of them. Furthermore, you can choose Eevee as a starter by using the Eevee password. I'm not really a specialist in this regard, but Sylveon hits hard with pixelate and hyper voice, and the field changing move misty terrain removes the ability for it to have status ailments. It is slow, compared to other team members, though.

There's also the status-based style, and brute force teams, though they can be less interesting.

Furthermore, there's the more challenging mono-type runs. I'm more proficient in dragon and fire types, and I know that there are quite a few decent ones in each type (as well as bad ones...).

The dragon type one would have a fair secondary type variety, I believe, as well as better overall stats. There's kingdra, salamence, hydregion (or however it is spelled), mega charizard x, and whatever the dragon/poison pokemon was called. The problem here is the steel, ice, and fairy type gyms.

The fire type one would have charizard, fletchinder, turtanator, camerupt, pyroar, incineroar, etc. The water and rock type gyms would be a big roadblock. You'll need fly to change the terrain. The ice type gym can also prove difficult.

  3. So, do you have any functional music files on it? Has it been scripted to start? Etc. I might be able to help, with more information.

Have you tried running the music file, separately, either? If it does not load, you need to hope you have an older version. Instead, convert it with a file converter site, and that should help.

I also need to know if you built it off of reborn or rejuv, if either.

However, if you are ADDING music to reborn or rejuv, or any other fan game, find the folder section that holds the music, and replace another music file with it. Still ensure it has the same file type.

I cannot help much with rpg maker, but I have MANUALLY changed music files without scripting. This works.

  4. Is this based on Pokemon reborn? If so, make sure it is an ogg file. This is the file that Pokemon Reborn uses.

Likewise, ensure that you convert any incompatible files for music into those you find in the base game.

For example, I had to convert an OGG file from Pokemon reborn into an MP3 file for Desolation, to make a change I wanted to.

I made a post on changing music files for desolation, and the link there hopefully can permit whatever file type you'll need in the music file to be converted into (if that is the issue).

If you struggle with this, you can send me a music file from the game that does work, and one that doesn't (seperately, of course), and I'll see if I can help.

  5. Have you tried redownloading rejuvenation, or reverting to a previous save file? If neither, download rejuv again and then use a safe file before you moved tangrowth onto the middle tile. It could be a script error, although I would normally expect it to crash, if so.

  6. I'm no expert either, but I've customized shiny sprites in Pokemon Rejuv, Reborn, and Desolation, though only swapping color palates. If you changed them while the game was open, it would not register the change until you reloaded it.

The same likely goes with editing the other sprites. Not sure on the creating part, though, as that mighty involve editing save files and script editing,

  7. I would believe you would recognize this, but the terminal on the right (in the bottom area, I think) must be used to access the desert. The others do not have that as an option. I'm not sure if they are available in late game, regardless of if you fixed the railnet.

  8. Have you ever wanted to change music files in this game, but found a brick wall? Perhaps you were trying to convert file formats and failing? I faced this issue and found a solution. This is a guide on how to change those files into the format used by Pokemon Desolation, the mp3 format.

I did a little research into this, and I recommend that, if you want to change audio files, use a safe file conversion site.  I found a video suggesting to use Zamzar, and it successfully changed the OGG file from Pokemon Reborn into an mp3. When I used the VLC player to convert, it kept on corrupting the file, resulting in an unusable file.

Before I converted it, I did my research to ensure the site was safe. Then, after downloading it, I scanned my system with my virus protection program. Do not skip these very important safety step.

If you wish to use the site I did, the link is:

    https://www.zamzar.com/convert/ogg-to-mp3/

Whatever one you use, still run a scan to be safe. But do be aware that you must select the exact name for the file, or the replacement will fail.

How do I post my save?

Butting in here a bit, but go to the save folder shortcut in the pokemon reborn folder. There, you can copy or select files to paste/upload into the system. It should be the same for rejuvenation, too, if you ever need that. To select a file, use the reply/new post dropbox and add an attachment. Hope this helps.

  10. Some nice advice for this gym is to take account of the field or destroy it (don't know how to do the latter at that point, though a terrain move could possibly change it). The field makes the highest of physical (attack/defense) and special (sp. atk./sp. def.) stats count for both. This is especially strong in combination with high sp. attack pokemon, such as a good sylveon with the right nature. Accounting for this, know the higher stat, and you can gain a big advantage with x-items. This could majorly help you, especially later on in the game. If you need, I believe I can go by getting one or both of the items with ease, or give you a pokemon that will work well for the fight (though it may be massively over-leveled, if I do...).
