  1. Personally i LOVE evil routes and Renegade was the most fun I have ever had with this game. The over the top edgyness was awesome and hurting/killing the beloved characters didn't really hurt me much because they are just that, characters... nothing for me to feel bad about

wait, so it's possible to get renegade without making everyine hate you and not doing side quests?

You just need 100 points, so yes you can get by and still do sidequests and such. You can get exactly 100 by only making wrong choices

So yes, only bad choices are required but you would need to do ALL of them to get the required points. Making characters hate you helps cushion that in case you accidentally miss a choice/the option is bugged/

    Spoiler

you want to keep Karrina alive.

What are the "good" choices you have to do to get to Paragon/ the "bad" ones to get to Renegade? I'm on chapter 9 and want to do Paragon first and Renegade later... I know saving Amber makes you earn Karma, but I'im not sure on which side go with the Florin/Flora stuff.

For Paragon there are no choices required. If you dont have renegade then you get Paragon.

    For Renegade... (Minor SPOILERS)

    Spoiler

You need 100 bad ending points which you get in three ways.

    1. Low Karma. You get Karma from sidequests, that being said I would still suggest doing some sidequests that offer good rewards in Renegade, you can very easily get the 100 points from other sources, so yeah do sidequests anyway, or dont I guess

    2. Have Ren, Melia, Venam, Aelita, Erin, Amber and Tesla hate you. Each gives 5 points while Tesla gives 20 because idk

    MAJOR SPOILERS

    Spoiler

    3. Make bad story choices specifically...
-Dont Trust Jenner in Aquamarine Cave (10)

-Dont Save Amber in Valor Mt (10)

-Dont have the weird diary/dont use it to save Garbodor (10)
-Go With Florin and Erin in the caves and make Florin use his power too much (20) (I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING THIS. Trust me its way cooler this way!)

-During Distant Time Hand It Over (10)

-During Distant Time Try to Escape (10)

-During the final hidden library sidequest let Karrina kill karen (10)

-During the final hidden library sidequest kill Karrina (20) (Doing this will skip a section of renegade and make you lose out on a legendary so I would recommend letting her live...)
-Dont have the weird diary/dont use it to save rift Hippowdon (10)

Afaik there isn't an option to abuse Florin's powers if you go with Flora, seeing as when I did I had to fight all the grunts (he only evaporated grunts in the final bladestar rooms)

Yes that is correct to my knowledge as well. So going with her is actually the "safe" option.

  4. Hello all I wanted to share my easy cheesy method that let me take down the second to last fight of Renegade (Dialga and Palkia)

    Spoiler

    What you need

    - 2 Focus Sashes (one is in blacksteepe the other is in the underground sanctuary (past) (or 4 focus bands if your deranged (found in the shopping center place))

    - 1 meowstic with twave prankster

    - 5 calm max hp max special defense sturdy magnazones with mirror coat, flash cannon, explosion

Equip two of the magnazones with focus sash, the other Pokemons items dont matter. Put one of the NON sashed magnazone in front and the meowstic in the second slot, the party position will be important for the final fight so make sure to do this.

    Palkia

Use mirror coat to take down the first hp bar, this results in them calling in clefairy and gaining mold breaker which is why we need the sashes. Let yourself die on the second turn then go into another magnazone with sash and mirror coat again, then die and do the same with the other sashed magnazone. This should bring down Palkia, then you can take out clefairy with your other magnazones (flash cannon).

If you dont have the sashes then your best bet is focus band cheese which is very unlikely to work but 10% of the time it will work like a sash, if you have only used one sash, then the chances of this working are not that low, since you can equip them on your extra two magnazones for two more tries, but hopefully you have the sashes so you dont have to gamble...

    Dialga 1

Use mirror coat t1 to take down the first hp bar, dialga will summon celebi and bring you to 1 hp, this is a issue as celebi likes to attack a lot, which will prevent you from using more mirror coats, so let the magnazone faint and send out meowstic and twave the celebi, then let it faint too. Now you have four magnazones for three hp bars, you need the celebi to either get para hacked or to use helping hand/screens, since you have 4 you can have a "skill issue" once. If your lucky you should bring down all its hp bars, if your not then you have to reset, sadly this part is a RNG check, of either getting lucky or waiting until the AI does something stupid. Bring down Dialga will cause celebi to leave luckily but...

EDIT: Apparently I am misremembering and you do need to kill Celebi, in that case you do need the extra magnazone and should be able to bring it down with mirror coats, considering equipping a sitrus berry onto that magnazone and NOT using it in the first fight so you can guarantee beat the Celebi.

    Dialga 2

Shes back and has 3 more healthbars, additionally you will have the fight reset if you dont win in 7 turns, luckily we have a way to win this. Your first magnazone that is out should be at 1 hp, so use explosion to die immediately. Then send out another one and click mirror coat, for me she always uses roar of time, this will set you at 1 hp and you will retaliate by killing a hp bar, on the recharge turn click explosion (I guess you could just switch to a full hp one which somehow didnt occur to me until just now) and send out another one and repeat. You should kill her on the final turn with one 1 hp magnazone left.

So anyway hopes this helps those who are struggling here...

  5. Yeah playing more of the paragon route after the renegade route and they are definitely connected. That means Good MC pretty much lets the evil route happen by giving them the obliteration spell, but seemingly its a necessary evil. My best guess is definitely that in order for a "happy ending" to present itself there must first be destruction, as in by destroying the world in one timeline, another timeline can have a chance...

Not sure, unfortunatelly, I don't know everything of Renegade Route, expect for 13.5, but since Renegade shows her escaping Zeight, unlike in Paragon where she accepted the death of her "lover" (Choosen MC) and the others, so awakening herself, I think she hasn't, unless something happens in the future and she tries to make "choosen MC" taking back control of their body (in the broken future, it seems like something similar actually happened)

In Renegade she vows revenge against the MC and M2, so pretty sure she will be back for sure. In Paragon route I doubt we will fight her again to see if she uses the other move, since it doesn't make any sense for her to do so anymore.

  7. Also I think I am definitely of the opinion that the evil route and the good route are connected. It seems like what happens in what route influences the other somewhat. The part after the Crescent fight is a clear example in this since in the evil route you see what happens right before the "main" timeline Melia gets swapped with the other Melia, while in the good route you see the aftermath. I also suspect that the evil route gave the red chain to the good route.

At the end of the evil route the MC says that I gain nothing from destroying the world and that they gain everything, which makes me suspect that the two routes are working together, by destroying one timeline, they can have the strength to save another or something like that?

  8. So I just got the interceptium z on my current save file and one of the abilities is different in this one I have Elysian Shield while in the other I have chaotic Malady (or something like that anyway) is route specific or something?

  9. Just now, SoulN7 said:

Proably it was for that, like he said, he has to make sure that you already know the events as the Interceptor, so you needed to put the name correctly.

I mean I still got the second set of questions tho. And answered all of them right, so he did know. But yeah it makes sense that you have to get them all right, sort of sucks that I missed out since I misinterpreted the first question (I dont think Zetta ever looked like that, which threw me off...)

Not correctly, the game says that Delpha is an anomaly and her presence is much real, so it's like the dream forged a new Delpha who follows you. At least, from what I seen. Think of it like Melia's Mimikyu: it followed her even in the currect present, despite being born a world that probably no longer exist.

      Hide contents

Have you answered correctly at all Zetta's quiz, included the first where you put his name?

Nope i got the first one wrong (I thought it was a puppet master respite lol)... guess that did it, i wanted to go back but i save super frequently so I couldn't. I assumed since I still got the puppet master fight in ch13 it would be fine, but i guess not lol. Oh well, I was doing a Aevium form only run anyway so like I cant use her anyway lol. Something to keep in mind if I do mono psychic I guess

well there is always next run

  11. Im fairly sure you should be able to

    Spoiler

Amber, Venam, Erin, Melia, Ren, Aelita all give 5 points if they hate you. Tesla gives 20. That is already 50 points. Not trusting Jenner on Terajuma gives you another 10, not saving amber is another 10, not saving garbodor is another 10, getting florin executed is 20 (I would 100% recommend doing this at the route is WAY COOLER with him dead, him alive makes you miss out on the coolest fight in the game IMO), trying to escape is 10, and letting karen die is another 10, then killing karrina is 20, letting hippo die is another 10. This gives you 150 points total, if you dont do the florin or karrina kills then it is still 110 which is enough. Karen doesn't do anything in renegade or at least she was never mentioned in my run (legendary quests are unavailable in renegade) so you could leave her alive and still have 100 points. This means you can still  do all the sidequests also.

Again tho, I would def recommend having Florin dead, it is so much cooler that way, trust me

You know what, there's one thing I've been wondering about in Renegade:

Where did M2 get her many M variants from? And how?

im pretty sure she can just make clones of herself at least that was the impression I got.

Renegade seems to be going the path of the expendable alternate universe that's doomed to die anyway so the best ending can be achieved, and that concerns me.

The major points in the Renegade MC's speech that he knows that everything is doomed, that the spell is just a mercy kill, that "they" will get everything, while he and the others will be deleted.

This def paints the Paragon MC and Melia in a darker light if they are willing to support this kind of mass death, and the Renegade MC goes from villain protagonist to a very dark anti-hero if this is truly the case.  I feel that these kinds of meta multiverse stakes are just too much for Rejuvenation.

I'm not sure how to phrase this properly, but I'll try. Sure Rejuvenation has had some high concepts, there's already apocalypses, LOTS OF TIME TRAVEL, everything to do with the Interceptor, Gods, recycled worlds, but now there's evil A.I.s controlling everything the characters do and multiverses doomed to die.

Making this worse IMO is that Rejuvenation's initial end goal "Defeat Team Xen and Vitus" hasn't even been accomplished yet, so throwing all this crazy shit feels like bloating the game to a whole new level.

Honestly seems to me like the Renegade route is more doing evil things so that in another timeline there can be a better future, and the good route is giving the evil MC that power so that the evil MC can make the good route possible. Its sort of a self fulfilling prophecy sort of thing, they are making their existence possible, and sometimes you have to break a few eggs...

  14. So I posted about this elsewhere already but wanted to know if anyone else has encountered this

    Spoiler

This seems to happen of you fulfill a certain condition in ch11 specifically I told ??? (Zetta) that I thought they were Freya (which might not even matter idk), then later in ch11, I was asked three questions (paraphrasing here) "who serves the puppet master" (Hazuki) "who does the puppet master want to protect" (Huey) "Who is the puppet masters "old" identity" (Freya). This gets you a interesting scene where Zetta, Risa, Sec and the Puppet Master show up early and give you the Puppet Coin, which activates here causing this to happen, you also get 1mil casino coins for free later on...

Afterwards you win the game glitches out and cuts forward after "Correcting the timeline" and everyone acts like this never happens... Seems interesting to me so i wanted to see if anyone else did this

  15. Am late to the party as i just found out this was out today, it would be sort of rude if this gave the bad end later on lol. I am unsure of what to do, but I guess I will take it and hope for the best. Can always start a new save in the future to get the best ending!

Edit: Honestly, is a toss up for me, Crescent notes say perfection is bad, but other people seem to say otherwise...

    we will see I suppose

  16. Trying to decide on the move set for my Sylveon, and am trying to decide between toxic or heal bell.

    Item: Lefties
EV: Defense + HP. Bold Nature.
    Moves
    Hyper Voice (pixelate)

    Wish
    Protect

    Heal Bell or Toxic

    Thoughts?

I am in the post game if that helps.

    Spoiler

The first of those bosses did sleep hacks and heal bell was somewhat useful, but seemed underwhelming.

The rest of the "main" team is
    Silvally
    Dragonite (physical dragon dance)
    Blaziken
    Meowstic (Male)
    Aegislash (Sword Dance not stall)

I can always slot toxic on Meowstic and prankster toxic that way then stall with Sylveon?

  17. Found a mistake here, for sticker 5, you don't need to wait until the story gets to that point. Once you get rock smash, you can go back to the slums you use to get to coral ward, and break the rocks on one of the lower floors, this takes you into the railnet, break some more walls and you will get to the place where the missing boyfriend is. This means you can get this sticker before badge 4.

  18. This is more of an oversight then a bug, but was not sure where else to post this.

So found an oversight in this gym relating to the new "king" mechanic in the psychic gym.

Since being "king" gives his Metagross Priority on all its moves, if you have a Tsareena with Queen's Majesty, it stops the Metagross from hitting you at all, as expected.

The issue is that the AI does not understand this, and will keep trying to attack you anyway and wont switch out. You can then just ignore the Metagross, and only attack his other pokemon at which point the fight is pretty free.

Is this intentional? Seems super cheesy.

  19. You can evolve the Marshstomp with a rare candy then use a common candy to lower it again. You can grind at any of the breeder trainers in the region, the highest level one you have access to is in Sheriden. Unfortunately, the one with three Audino's in Goldenleaf does not open up until after this battle.

Edit: If you got the gift sewaddle in goldenleaf cave, you can use that to sticky web his team, which will be a BIG help.
