Currently on my first playthrough (hardstuck on flying gym leader). Rift battles are by far the coolest part of the game, I really hope they don't get removed completely. I also noticed they're significantly easier in doubles because you don't have the "this legend outspeeds and one shots each member of my team" experience, so maybe a solution is to make them all double battles?

If you go to Apophyll Academy there's a trainer who gives you a meditite for free.

My takeaway from this post is Ame is making a different great game in addition to this great game and I look forward to playing them both
