  1. With 1 Shell Smash in rain, his Surf and Hydro Pump become backed up with 1083 SpA, and he hits 836 Speed.
  2. Kyogre: The Ubers tier is extremely fast paced, so I wouldn't recommend Aqua Ring on Kyogre. Given your EV placements, Calm Mind would be the better choice. Rayquaza: Excellent Rayquaza. Lugia: Lugia's EV investments contradict his moves. In general, Pokemon perform much better when they're committed either to attack or defence, but not both. Commit Lugia to one or the other, and his usefulness will soar. With regard to your team, Lugia would function much better as a wall than an attacker. Arceus: Good Arceus. The only change I would make is to change the EVs to 244 HP and 12 Speed, which allows your Arceus to beat opposing Arceus of identical build. I've found that the single most important tactic of team building is to always stay one step ahead of your opponents. Giratina: Dual status is probably a waste of a moveslot. It's probably better to switch Will-O-Wisp with Substitute, parashuffling opponents behind a substitute with dragon tail. See below. Shaymin-S: This depends on how well you use your Giratina. If you're able to paralyze your opponent's scarfed Pokemon (which are very common in the Ubers tier), then Focus Sash is a better option than Choice Scarf. Otherwise, a scarfed Shaymin-S can work miracles, getting you out of checkmate positions with his flinches.
  3. Nice, Aerodactly is a good lead for monoflying. Your Ninjask and Emolga could easily be replaced by pokemon more suited to their role (namely Staraptor & Zapdos). Yes, your monoflying will most likely lose to a monoice, but I wouldn't worry. In the monotype tier, there are some matchups that you simply cannot win. Focus on the other 16 types rather than your team's Achilles' heel.
  4. Minimize is +2 evasion while Double Team is +1
  5. Smeargle (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Moody Vs: 4 HP / 252 HP / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Spore - Substitute - Minimize - Baton Pass My favorite Smeargle set, this is designed to abuse all the gifts Reborn allows but other servers deny. Spore to put your opponents to sleep, then set up a sub and minimize, while accumulating a +2 boost every turn from Moody. Top it off by baton passing your invisibility cloak to the sweeper of your choice. The beauty of this set is that even Roar/Whirlwind have a very low chance of hitting after just one evasion boost.
  6. My rationale is that Mew is reasonably bulky with decent speed, has access to Nasty Plot, and most importantly, can Recover.
  7. Reserves finished. Keep in mind that by its very nature, any Top 10 list will be opinionated to some extent. Therefore, you're welcome to leave any feedback as well as post your own Top 10 lists.

  11. Top 10 of Everything Welcome all. Below is a growing compilation of the Top 10 of all things Pokemon related, from Top 10 Sweepers to Top 10 Items. Being such a huge project, I won't be able to complete it myself. Everyone is welcome to contribute. If you think of a Top 10 that currently isn't included, post it yourself and I'll add it to the front page. Likewise, if you disagree with a Top 10 already in place, feel free to post it. All opinions will be considered, and Top 10 lists will be modified accordingly. Due to their immense power, Uber pokemon will be excluded from these lists unless stated otherwise. Please note that the Top 10 list only evaluates the merit of pokemon/abilities/items within a battle. As such, otherwise useful stuff like Master Balls and the Illuminate ability are not included. Without further ado, here we go! Top 10 Physical Walls 10: 9: 8: 7: 6: 5: 4: 3: 2: Best Physical Wall: Top 10 Special Sponges 10: 9: 8: 7: 6: 5: 4: 3: 2: Best Special Sponge: [Continued below...]
  12. For your monodark team: - Zoroark's nature needs to be changed, as the +Atk won't help - Honchkrow should be holding an item, probably life orb - Your Honchkrow knows Nasty Plot but doesn't know any special attacks. Get rid of Nasty Plot and put in Superpower or Drill Peck - Honchkrow has a -Atk nature. Make it Adamant or Jolly - Even if your Hydreigon is a mixed sweeper (I don't recommend it, but up to you), you should not make it a nature that lowers his SpA, as that's his main selling point - Your Absol is holding Blackglasses, but doesn't know any Dark moves. Give it Sucker Punch instead of Flamethrower and Night Slash instead of Ice Beam - A hardy nature doesn't work well for Absol. Make it Adamant or Jolly, and invest all EVs into Atk and Speed. Absol isn't meant to be a tank. - Get rid of Incinerate on your Houndoom and change his nature
  13. We gotta LU battle some time. This looks like a very good team. I should point out that Linoone OHKOs every pokemon on your team after a belly drum. It outspeeds Hitmonchan's mach punch and Druddigon's sucker punch, has seed bomb for rhypherior and has STAB extremespeed for the rest. Maybe shift some EVs to defence in Tangrowth?
  14. If they sacrifice Hippowdon, they're dead. Switch back in abomasnow to reinstate permanent hail, and sweep with 100% accurate, super effective, STAB Blizzards, available on 3 different pokemon. Monoground lacks special attackers, meaning cloyster can easily tank a hit and spin away hazards. Froslass can set up Hail before she takes sandstorm damage. Monoground doesn't even come close to being a threat. Obviously the only way to settle this is through a battle. You guys can make a monoground specifically to beat my monoice. In fact, you have access to absolutely every aspect of my team, down to the EV investments. Challenge me the next time you see me online. I'm always looking forward to good monotype battle.
  15. No way I'll ever lose to a monoground. I won't switch out against a Hippowdon lead simply because a maxed SpA Abomasnow can suck it dry with STAB Giga Drain, and resists his STAB Earthquake. The type difference for the opponent is insurmountable. Also, Froslass is quick and also know hail.
