wild nosepass can carry them with a 5% rate. If you have compound eyes, you can raise that chance to ~23%. oh and it only has a 2% encounter rate in the sheridan caves.
They can drop thou, i got mine today after my 17th nosepass...
bruh I'm thinking this 2% is BS, along with the 1% Oranguru rate in Hula Meadow.
I did over 250 encounters with Oranguru and now over 150 with Nosepass. I've found two shinies before a 2% encounter!

not sure if this is intended behaviour or not, but this shrub right here will give you a Calm Mint every time you interact with it.
in terms of usefulness? not totally gamebreaking because Calm isn't a super-common desired nature and you can't sell the mints for a lot of money ($5) but, here we are!

Yeah, for Venam on Intense I just used a Meowth with Technician, a Glameow and a Butterfree, both Meowth and Glameow had Fake Out so they could take one of her pokemons each with no issue, the other 3 pokemons in my team were canon fodder so I could keep using the Fake Out strat, except for Butterfree since it had Confusion so..
Point is, if you wanna win you gotta find cheese strategies like this on Intense or else it's pretty damn difficult and reliant on RNG..I beat Crawli with a Purugly too, Faking out the Galvantula and killing it with your other party member before that guy even sets up the webs makes that battle very much easier.

you still get one from finding the Dragonite's letters at Oceana Pier

I was able to get a Dedenne on Route 2 that could both Nuzzle and swap into a Dragon Breath. Then I had an Intimidate Luxray with Baby Doll Eyes that would give him a quick -2 on his Shadow Claws.
Really from there I just whittled him down.
The fight after though? I honestly don't remember, but I ended up just targeting one slot and leaving the A-Wak out there neutered due to Intimidates. I would swap out from Luxray to a Flying/Levitator (I used Lunatone here) and would just swap back out and let something else take the Shadow Bone.

this dang thing is impossible, I'm finding shinies before I find this thing

That Rift Carnivine also has Gunk Shot and a Dragon Stab (I think it was Dragon Rush)

Gothitelle throws herself at you, gen 8 raid style with 2 shields, not sure what her level is but she hits hard enough that you shouldn't try her immediately after Keta arc, and your reward is a Gothita
I don't usually pay attention to the movesets in the walkthrough, but I was just looking over the Geara fight I finished (Xen Executive Geara (Forest Field)) and have to wonder if movesets are potentially different? His Gengar knew Giga Drain, his Grimmsnarl used Sucker Punch, and his Persian used Fake Out, and I'm pretty sure I'm running a normal game mode.
Gothitelle has Psychic, Thunderbolt, Calm Mind, and a 4th move that I have never seen because it murders me.
Considering I was stuck at that Geara fight for a while, I'm well aware of their movesets.
Persian has Fake Out, Slash and Burn, Return, Night Slash
A-Wak has Flare Blitz instead of another fire move
Grimm has Sucker Punch instead of Drain Punch

yeah this isn't really all that clear, it took me several minutes and it's like OH there's a path to the cowgirl over on the other side
-
I too love how the Blacksteeple arc changed. There was enough of what I remembered from v12 to jog my memory but that was most definitely an improvement.

also, be prepared as it's not what it seems

Finally beat narcissa tanks to my Xatu (yeah i know weird choice but it worked out) for the mismagius I had my trusty Crowbat ready to OHKO it with a Brave Bird, but mine got lucky on stats rolls. V13 being my first time playing Rejuvenation it is quite hard, i do feel that i get stuck a little too often, but i'm enjoying the teambuilding exercise that every boss is, I think a lot of the difficulty come from the perfect ennemy item, evolite, special berrys, soft clay etc those really make a difference, (and the terrains of course) and, we, the player get none of it, also the lack of stones, it's not possibile for me to get a raichu just because the stone is so far away, i'm still enjoying it greatly, surely one of the best fan games i've ever played,
I managed to sweep Narcissa with a Coalossal of all things. Fire Spin and Flame Charge are BROKEN in the field. I put a magical seed on it which increased defense upon swap in and it just had enough defenses + Flame Charge speed boost to go to town on her whole team after my Cinderace one-shot Drifblim with a Pyro Ball. Smack Down for the Chandelure.
Heck, I probably could have just 6-0'd with Coalossal.

oh I meant Geara in Terajuma lmao
but yeah I had a heck of a time against that Giratina-Geara fight too. Beat that with smart swapping Dedenne and Luxray for Intimidates and then anticipating the Dragon Breath and swapping....and then eventually getting a Lunatone Cosmic Powered up
-
rocking with Regenerator Tangrowth right now and it's fun as hell
-
as an aside, how'd you get past Geara there? currently stuck on that battle (that A-Wak is a massive pain) and looking for suggestions
-
Hypnosis spam lol
Seriously, as long as they don't wake up turn 1, you can stall out the screens and set up defenses of your own
-
I wasn't "locked" here but not having access to a PC/bed to heal in is really a pain. I had to use up precious resources (revives, etc) since there was no heal before Madelis

Cinderace has pretty garbage moves by level up as well outside of pyroball and double edge.
I mean....
Pyro Ball, Double Kick, Poison Sweep for coverage and Headbutt/Double Edge are all you really need for most of the early/mid game? I'm not having many issues with it.
And it hits SO hard with Libero.
-
there are a LOT of early game events that have switched around.....the majority of battles and events are still there, but they are definitely not in the same order as V12.
also Gen 8 has switched around some of the encounters and battle teams so uh, yeah, what the poster above me said. Any guides for previous versions are more or less useless because it's changed so much

When I was using Snivy (yes Snivy) up against Narcissa's Driflim, it would always go for a hypnosis even if I was holding a chesto berry. However, if I led with chesto Liepard it would just double hp fighting regardless of item. I think the AI somehow measures how worth it would be to burn your berry.
I just fought Narcissa with Chesto Cinderace and Drifblim went for Hypnosis turn 1 to burn the berry yeah. It can't really go after the Cinderace with anything so it figures it'll just put it to sleep.
(btw I swept the rest of Narcissa with Magical Seed Coalossal, that was fun. Strapped both Fire Spin and Flame Charge - Smack Down for Chandelure - on that bad boy and turned the field straight against her)

For me i set up calminds using swoobat and just swept her team like butter . It takes three to four attempts maybe to get your setup right . Got this strat from youtuber named nine icy tales.
yeah, you can either Amnesia and get the +4 SpD boost or Calm Mind and go +2/+2, I did it the Amnesia way but CM may be easier
-
managed to get through this :)
just intimidated the heck out of the A-Wak and switched back and forth between electric and flying types to avoid Bonemerang while targeting the other slot. That Haunter wasn't fun but I still two-shot it with Cinderace Pyro Ball.
and then swept Narcissa with a Coalossal of all things, that was fun

also what can help is Dedenne or Pachirisu with Nuzzle. Replace the Pikachu for this fight.

Emolga instead of a Magnet?
BRUH I'm upset considering I spent 2-3 hours catching Nosepass in the Safari Zone trying to get one with a Magnet
At least I have my shiny Silvally, so whatever.
