I mean you've wanted to murder Team Xen members since about Day one, you should be happy you finally got a chance!
The involvement of your other Pokemon in this Mountain section is a great highlight, especially since most of them never see the light of day aside from very rare occasions. Very Fun.
But the involvement of your human allies is the utter opposite. Making you feel redudant seems to be a running theme whenever any of them appear. Saki is honestly the worst in that scene, though not riding that rickety death trap is probably a godsend. Honestly I begin to wonder why this is a Pokemon game at times. But then we wouldn't have Rose so it balances out. . . mostly.
Also don't sell yourself short, you've still got a few more times before you drive that particular joke into the ground. But not too many, you're on thin ice.

You should mount Gustav on your shoulder like the gun the Predators use. Sure he's heavy but you can handle it, kinda maybe.
Oh wow I forgot how stupid Madelis' reasoning for this whole thing was. Like there's this thing called fan mail lady. Also I'm still surprised the thing was made optional after we had to sit through that kidnapping cutscene earlier. Really feels like Jan wanted something for Amber/Tesla/Madelis to do in this section and was just flat uncertain on what to do. Probably could have had them join the Nim rescue effort but whatever.
Also seeing Team Xen in action this update. . . I will never complain about any main Pokemon Game evil team EVER again. Like even the Plasma and Flare grunts were smarter than this.
Also Jitto joins the legend killing club (also thank god for Imposter or that would been a death sentence), though to be fair Pounce is still the reigning champ with 3 under her belt.

So for starters how painful was it doing all that editing? Especially at the end, that must have been a nightmare to work on.
Also wow that's a lot of new pokemon (The Octillery gun gag is apparently amazingly underused, I think this is the first time I've ever seen it), it must be SIGNIFICANTLY easier to grind later in the game because I'm at gym 2 and to say it is painful trying to raise a team is an understatement. Also your assessment of Gen 7 Pokemon is spot on for better or worse.
That ending to the chapter was beautiful in so many ways and I'm super excited for the rest of the finale (in a this is going to awesome kind of way, not even being funny here).
SpoilerThat bit with the title card caught me completely off guard. Knowing of the coming lava bath all I'm gonna say is I'llmiss you old Sean. Half expecting you to end up as the girl sprite the way this playthrough is going.

I like how you can drag Taka along on these side quests, it's pretty great.

They have quite a bit left. Note some of these battles are likely going to lead to long episodes. I'm honestly looking forward to their reactions to the false god.

Well that side-quest sure was something, I completely forgot about Fake Nancy/Dimensional Chandelure fight. It honestly reminds me of the ghost Kiki fight from Reborn. Also once again Rose is outright broken against anything that isn't immune or resistant to her, which is a lot of things. She really does carry the team, along with Caesar and Chiller.
Also RIP Ignacio, we barely knew you. . . literally. That's another dead water type, you know there's easier ways to get sea food right?
Time to FINALLY go save Nim, no more distractions. . .hopefully. Plus Melia's infuriating hang ups. Should be interesting at the very least.

I legit didn't know Haxorus could learn Surf, that's kinda cool. I just imagine Rose swimming through the water like Godzilla, it's pretty neat.
This side quest was actually pretty enjoyable, a significantly less annoying version of a side character, a funny plot, and a new pokemon to go along.
Anything to avoid the main plot, eh? It's probably for the best, you need all the preparation you can get.
Also for Ruby Rising, I'm just here to see the reactions of your Reborn team when you get back.

Maybe you should just hold off on doing side quests until your done with the main plot for an area. (Looking at the Conkeldurr battle and the Pokemon for Team AA, I honestly think that's Jan's intention, for better or worse) Trying to avoid it is costing more than actual doing the plot at this point. Also the rewards beyond a few exceptions are genuinely not worth it. This one certainly wasn't.
RIP Blu-Ray and Fingers, taken way to soon, also RIP Ignacio. You're running out of water types dude, soon you won't be able to surf anywhere and boy would that be an embarrassing way to have to end a Nuzlocke.
For the Ruby run, it's probably a lot harder to edit 3d images and all that. I do want to see how you handle the Delta Episode stuff. . . eventually.

That mention of that Talonflame makes me hopeful of for the Reborn run being . . . reborn. Well as soon as you finish the Omega Ruby Run. (We are finishing this indeed. . . )
Melia's an idiot, Team Anti-Assist continues to be a bigger joke than the majority of Team Xen, and in general your life is terrible. Just another day in teh Aevium region!
Also yeah these side-quests are ridiculous, I'm still reeling from the Kecleon one way back in Sheridan. (so many resets just to get one item. . . )

Ah the memories of Shofu's battles with Bennett in Iolia Valley way back in the day. Dude got bodied the first time.

I kind of get where he's coming from with the void, the stuff being shown their is interesting but I just wish it wasn't happening all at once. But everything else, yeah the way Shofu plays, he really should have waited until the full game is finished. Probably be easier on everyone involved.
On the comments, like it's not like the Reborn (and other fan game) community's aren't open to criticism. See everything Commander does, but most of the comments are around the level of this game is garbage. It was like that for the major events of Rejuvenation Version 10 as well, but at least the comments haven't blown into all out war like they were for that playthrough.

Sidequests and events galore this chapter. I like the secret Piplup event, I always did like the idea of wild starters as long as they were hard to find. Actually a lot of these side quests I've never even seen, though I tend to watch Rejuvenation through Shofu who is pretty bad about that sort of thing. Also said side quests deal with people I rather not have. The reward for the Sariah one is pretty wack, like wow.
I updated from Version 10 midway through the 3rd Gym to fix a bug and I'm already seeing changes. Seems like the idea is to give you more pokemon options which I don't mind.

"Space Invader". . . I'll take it! So in terms of team dynamics, it's basically just like you and your group in Rejuvenation, 1 guy does all the work and everyone else is just there. It's like poetry it rhymes.
Also once again Chiller's Mirror Coat saves the day. I was kinda worried about that Groudon, but you handled it with shocking ease.
The Eldest in general was pretty great, attitude wise she's almost like an old lady version of you with all those sick burns being handed out.
And onto Aelita. . . . well at least she's not dead. But yeah that does bite considering Aelita is likely the second strongest trainer in the group right after you. Surely the assault on Valor mountain will be fine.

And the Update-Bomb continues.
I got Dimensional Manipulation, which apparently means I can turn PokeBalls into Pokecubes.
Creative way to edit out dealing with that dumb puzzle, seems like half the game could be solved by you just walking up and punching someone.

Honestly, I can understand why you're getting tired of this game. The train scene shows a lot of what's wrong with this game. Once again, your "companions" do absolutely nothing and just let the bad guys get away. Say what you will about Crawli, he at least fought. I think at the very least, there could have been a handful to Team Xen grunts there to keep Aelita and Melia busy. It'd help the scene immensely.
I remember you actually fighting Nastasia in a double battle with Ren in earlier versions of the game (you vs Nastasia and Ren). She had a Ninetales, Chandelure, and one of those clone Deoxys. It's honestly not a team I pictured her using but it would explain why she was able to steamroll Crawli.

We still have Derogatory to suffer for our entertainment, after all.Whatever you want do is up to you, but I would suggest Legends of the Arena. It's pretty fun but it's not nearly as popular, I think only Shofu has done a full playthrough of what has been released so far. It uses 4th gen mechanics and only uses Pokemon up to Generation IV, mostly.

Texan being a joke is true, but to be fair he's far higher leveled than Keta ever was when you were first there. He's honesty on the level of a certain Ghost Gym Leader. Also the dude has a serious case of helmet hair, he should be a laughing stock for that alone.
Honestly Aelita is a lot of fun most of the time, especially compared to Venam and Melia. I'm certain NOTHING bad will happen to her.

Honestly you got kinda lucky with Blu-Ray in that battle with Aelita, because I'm like 90 percent certain that Blaziken packs Thunderpunch. Also I now I kinda want to see a Dance off between Aelita and Rose, such an insult can't be ignored.

Once again, I think you may be the person I've ever seen play this game to actually like Ren. I like your explanation of Ren's actions, especially since you never quite get to the point of defending them. Understanding yes, defending no. At the end of the day, this young man has wedded himself to a group of terrorists that likely has a great deal of blood on their hands. It will at least be interesting to see how his arc goes from here. Also those Vigoroths kinda kill the mood of the scene, be kinda funny if you could battle them though.

Man Soozy is pretty cool *immediately gets killed via friendly fire*. . . wow this is why I dread doing AI partner double battles in fangames like this. They're a liability more often than not. Also crap poor Ali, I saw that coming the moment you kept him on the field against Mamoswine. I think the bad part is your team sans Zira (and Rose, who I tend to forget is actually pretty fast, thank goodness for Jolly nature) for this fight was REALLY slow. Like Coffee probably would have been invaluable here. . .
Also, man was I wrong about Rose not being helpful here. The murder dragon saves the day yet again, though like Gaunt and Commander said you are REALLY pushing your luck there.
Melia being basically a deity isn't much of a stretch considering everything else with the girl. Just wait for her to go Super Saiyan Blue or something like that a some point, mark my words.
Also the sprite edits on the continue to be my favorite parts of this run, from Star Blusterium, Zira on the field, and Chiller in your desperate attempt to stay relevant.
Time to go rescue Nim (and Amber too I guess) for real this time!

Also your team is tailor made to stomp on Angie barring bullshit. Should be good for experience at the very least.
As for everything else, I'd say remember you're doing this for Nim but at this point I think the game itself may have forgotten about her.

Truly Flounder is a cursed name like Zeppeli. Also this is the 2nd time Venam has team killed one of your mons, that's kinda morbidly impressive. She actually has a better track record against you than most of Team Xen discounting Madame X. Also pretty funny when you had Venam react to your dialogue and your Pokemon. I suspect your going to do quite a bit of that kind of editing for the next chapter.
Crescent. . . I don't get Crescent. Like legit what is her deal man. . . .I'm half expecting her to be your real mother or your sister. I kinda want to see the fight with her, Saki, Adam, and Valarie if nothing else than to see them get bodied. Wonder what her team would be like, I know she at least has a Gothitelle.
Time for the finale of the finale. Let's how badly things went with Melia charging in blindly like a damned fool.
