Oh boy Zetta. This asshole is back, he's trying really hard to play the sympathy card but it really isn't working. I feel like he should just be a Solosis instead of his human self. It'd be wild if you could catch him too. Reuniclus is a really good mon, which is probably why Jan doesn't give you the option.
Him interrupting the reunion REALLY doesn't help his reputation either. Valor mountain went alright up until the summit, then the cutscene BS really sucker punches you.

I was super shocked to see Crescent here, I always get the vague impression she's always following you like a superpowered stalker. Also more questions, no answers. Same shit, different day.
The Zetta fight. I get what Jan was doing with the names, but without fail the order gets borked up depending on what you send out. Only way around it is to make the AI send out mons in a set pattern, but I don't think you can do that honestly.
Also I'm kinda curious. On the very low chance you lost a mon here or against the Pupper Master, would you count it as a death or just wave it off as a dream or something like that. I'm kinda betting on the former, but I could be wrong.
I'd go with option 2 because I'm a coward and I'd need all the loopholes I could get with this game.
And we never saw Zetta again, ever, totally.
Time to fight the Puppet master, I know you more or less steamroll this guy but I'm curious to see how you pull this off.

Oh god the Zubat sidequest. Man I like Crobat and it's a pretty decent mon, but its not lock behind a sidequest good. Quite frankly I no mon is besides maybe a few broken Legendaries.

To be fair when you got dumped into Lava, in universe you came right back (at least I think that's how it went) like second later. For Jenner, she did get righteously angry at Geara at least. Not much of a defense really but it's all I got.

Nope, that bit is gone. You, Ren, and Venam get rid of the Xen grunts in Gearan then board the train to Sheridan village. Honestly that whole section with the first 4 gyms has changed pretty radically. It honestly looks great.

This is the point where Venam has a big think about how much of a shit she's been throughout the game and it's a pretty decent scene. Unfortunately, Lavender's dumbass moment means that development doesn't get followed up for awhile.

Eyup. Ash trades Aipom to Dawn, since the little monkey likes contests so much. It evolved then got into Ping Pong so much that Dawn gave her away so she could fufill her "dreams". It's honestly the dumbest possible thing that could have happened, which is a shame because the monkey kicked ass in pretty much every battle she was in.

She's better in early game and onwards (not by much, but they at least have her start to acknowledge how much of a shit she is, so there's that). They also make it so that you fight Venam before you go off on your little field trip with Melia, which makes the whole Gearen city arc flow MUCH better.

Ambipom is better with Technician, but even then Dawn would be really fragile. You're probably right in her being better as a pickup mon. I've seen some timely Pickups come in clutch.
Oh man you're plan with Beret was inspired to say the least. But as you already know, that plan was destined to fail from the start. You can always use her to copy one of the Gym Leader's custom moves maybe?
The meeting with Madelis. . . I love the implication that she's been walking around with this gaping wound for like a week without too much ill effect.
Cassandra continues to be an okay villain character. Like others mentioned, it's kinda too bad the MC doesn't interact with her more. Also V13 isn't even trying to do any kind of "redemption" for her, she's basically evil through and through and I'm kinda glad for it.
Also Cassandra ordering Maddie to beg doesn't help the whole bad touch vibes either.

Trying to reconsile all the stuff that happened since the start of the game into a coherent timeline must have been a nightmare and I don't really envy Jan and Co. Like its a miracle to MC is still somewhat sane, can't really say the same for you at this point to be honest.
Reading about those Dimensional Rift, you can now add Animal Cruelty and/or Torture to the list of crimes by our favorite Admins (depending on you rate Pokemon Sentience). They've got ALOT to answer for. Any kind of Redemption Arc is going to have to surpass Zuko's to even attempt to work.
Venam. . . V13 is making an attempt to make Venam into a better person and it's kinda working? But it's hard to forget the earlier iterations of her.
Also this whole setup for the battle is really wack. Like a Ribbon really? Also I really wish we could rat Madelis out then and there, or if nothing else make her squirm a bit.

Losing Tusk. . he wasn't my favorite mon of yours but he wasn't bad. Mamoswine's a dope mon and the fact you lost a mon to the Ribbon Battle is kinda insulting in itself. Also Venam is now just behind Madame X and the Conkeldurr for the most mons of yours killed. That's. . . something.
Everyone's reaction to Abomination made me laugh, I gotta say. All that was missing was Venam, but that probably would have cluttered an already packed screen. Though her sprite reaction later me laugh as well, though in a way that made feel bad at the same time.

That's actually not a bad idea, especially since Part 3 is really long. Dividing the chapters into Arcs would make it easier on rereading.

I think what the scene is doing is trying to get us to feel for Madelis. In fact I the most recent version has made a concerted effort to make the admins more. . human.
I get what Jan's trying to do but at the end of the day these people have arson, murder, attempted murder, assault, torture, kidnapping terrorism, and god knows what else on their records. Like I really hope Jan doesn't try to retroactively justify their actions.

Okami is a legit great game, I'd love for a remaster on the Switch or something like that. Okamiden wasn't that bad either, still wasn't as good as the first game.

Valarie. . . honestly if it wasn't for that overlay a lot of people would have no idea who she was. There's just way too many characters in this game. Also the market for hairdye in this region must be booming.
Getting wasted is a great reaction to all this in a single day. . . holy hell you could probably make this whole section a mini arc and name it "The Longest Day" Also "Just another day in Aevium" should be the title of the run period but hey.
Chrono Trigger is a great game, shame it never got a sequel.
Maybe someday you'll get some solid answers, but it is not this day.

It's got some of the same writing issues Reborn and Rejuvenation has. But at the very least there's only 12 gym leaders instead of 18. Plus none of them have died and invalidated their badges, so that's good. Also it actually let's you catch a legendary Pokemon. Granted its just Articuno but that's a step up from the other games.

The MC being passive is a thing I've seen alot of people get annoyed/upset at. It's an issue in Reborn too. It's honestly what makes your screenshot runs more fun to sit through than the actual games at times.

Also the whole Cosmia and Comet cosplaying as you and Nancy. . . I honestly don't see the point.

I won't lie getting to stay in a damn penthouse is pretty great compared to most of the game where you were essentially a hobo. One thing I can say for Pokemon Desolation at the very least is that it gives you a damn mansion as a base of operations. No catch, no bullshit, just a boss battle and the place is yours. It's kind of cool actually.
The elevator ride was the best part of this chapter honestly. Was cool seeing some of your other Pokemon that haven't been used in a bit like Jitto, Macross etc. Though now I suspect that half of these guys aren't going to see out Part 3 alive.
Love how Rose is gradually becoming more and more Yandere as more of these Poke-floozies come at you.
They could just replace Ash with another character but they've elected to keep him to the heat death of the universe. Also 21 around a bunch of teens isn't much better my dude.
The "planning session" was kinda pointless. It pretty much just said everything you already know beside Rune being Huey's sister.
And we meet Lavender. . .I have no strong feelings either way about this character. Though her relationship with Huey is pretty cute.
Yeah that Flareon is an adorable. . . I've always though the Eevee line was more like foxes but dogs work too I guess.
The main takeaway from that whole scene in the penthouse is that the Gym Leaders in this city are evil and/or dumb and someone is impersonating Nancy. Be wild if she faked her death huh?
Also Huey hammering that Grunt makes me wish the we had the option to physically throw hands at some of these goobers. . . .at least outside of the Unown dimension anyways.

Oh I knew the moment the announced the reward that there was no way the MC was gonna win this tournament. But at least you don't loose anyone to it. Compared to the battles the game likes the through at you, the GDC tourney is refreshingly mundane.

Ah websites and forums such fragile things. One day everything's fine, next day the owner forgets/doesn't want to pay for it anymore and years of memories are just gone.
No sane person in the world would blame you for dropping the blind aspect of this Nuzlocke by that point. Props on you for playing this game for so long. I honestly can't do it anymore, it requires a bit of time investment that I generally do not have any more. Like if this was 5 or 10 years earlier maybe, but not now.

Hey it's Huey, I agree I like Huey. He's probably one of my favorite characters introduced in this part of the game. He's such a goofball.
The dome environment control is a pretty neat feature, though I gotta question the purpose of it. The rest of the region aside from certain places you visit later looks perfectly fine. Nothing suspicious there!
The Grass Gym there looks nice, I kinda like the idea of Gym's doubling as Aquariums/Gardens/Museums etc. Seems like a cool feature.
You had way too much fun putting your mon's in cosplay obviously. I think the Vash one was my favorite (Trigun is a great show).
I'm honestly curious on how you found out you sat next to a future ISIS member, did someone contact you or did you happen to see them on the news one day?
Oh god this is why Bluster has had so much screen time in the last several chapters, you were setting us up for that gut punch. I actually said "What the fuck!?" Out loud when that Thunder landed. Stuff like that is what makes Nuzlocking these games scary.
It just don't seem right after surviving all those boss fights to loose him to a pair of Pika Clones.

Yeaah a blind Nuzlocke run of this game might be impossible without the actual luck of the devil. You're lucky Sean, put I think that luck has met it's match in V13.
It's like current Reborn. The battles are way too difficult and many of the opposing mons put out way too much damage to go through without some sort of major prep before hand.

Back to the plot. . . once again more questions than answers. Kanon is weird, Erin is bemused, Sean tries to defend Aelita's honor, Melia kinda helps, and Venam is. . . there. All and all just another day in Aevium.
I'm stunned that Madelis even surived that scene in retrospect. Madame X is definitely a "You have failed me for the last time" type of evil boss. When that sword came out I expected that head to come off. Though Madelis being demoted from Admin to Minimum wage worker makes me laugh,

V13, and from the first few videos I've seen on YouTube it's gonna be an ride. . . a potentially terrifying one to play through too.

Carnage being used was a pretty good call, Heracross is a good mon even without the Mega to be honest. They're up there in my favorite Pokemon list.
Oh the double edged sword of Hail. Well if there was one Pokemon that would team kill another on the team, it probably would be Chiller. Prophet went as he lived. . . being unnecessarily cryptic.
Also the return of SazzleDazzle. Rose and her on the same team sounds like a recipe for disaster. . . and comedy. So obvious you have to do it more often.
Oh yeah the Saki ruins. . . .pretty easy to forget about Saki and the others. I don't even think the game brings them up again until this point.
Also Aelita wasn't that weird of a name to me at least, I'm familiar with it from a mid 2000's French cartoon called Code Lyoko.
Time to go exploring in the woods, better just pray the update didn't put some kind of superboss for you to stumble into here.

Wow this is probably the longest chapter in awhile, I can see why you had so much trouble. It's been awhile since I've seen you this angry in game.
God your track record with Water Types in this Region is horrid. I think Gustav lasted the longest out of all of them. (I'm glad its Gustav over Chiller to be perfectly honest. Gustav was great but the sadistic little snowcone is just a delight and the death of him against anything but like a Madame X tier battle feels wrong)
Bluster folding the rest of that Bladestar grunts team was kinda nice to see.
Wow this cave wasn't nearly so tedious before. The earlier versions didn't have any of this mirror puzzle stuff at all. Should hang onto that mirror, seems like it could be very useful.
Yeah that Bladestar pitch was pretty fucking bad. I wonder how Flora manages to convince anybody, but seeing her grunts I can see she's not very picky. Like I think they make the Anti-Assist grunts look smart. . . which makes it all the more galling that they killed one of your mons.
I was less thinking you join Bladestar and more you end up working with Flora, using each other to further your own ends, stuff like that. Never happen in this game, but maybe another fangame could run with the idea

Main characters in pokemon games don't skip leg day, especially here in Rejuvenation. Do you even have access to a bike yet at this point in the game?
Also the cave got a MASSIVE upgrade, before it was just a generic looking cave.
And the Bladestar arc begins, yet another evil team. Flora is kinda interesting as a character, I'm honestly curious to see if you choose to work with her or not. It'd be kinda cool if choosing to work with her/keep her secret would have caused the eventually fallout to make the city and/or your friends turn against you. Be a cool plot divergence.
Bluster has been on a roll lately, that burn was beautiful.
I'd love to see a theme based gym leader team, or do what Blue did HGSS and have a balanced team of Pokemon. The last gym leader in Sword and Shield has a team based on weather, so there's that at least.
It feels like the gym battles are a afterthought to the plot at this point. Like we go through all this stuff with Xen/Bladestar/cults and then go oh yeah you have a gym battle to fight. At least in V11 and V12 you get the badge due to plot related battles which I think is a step up.
Well time to meet . . . not my favorite character in the game, honestly that's Aelita but she's pretty high up there.

On my favorites list: The poison type is one of those Ultra beasts from Gen VII, its like a weird cross between a syringe and a dragon.
The whole train track's being "destroyed' was probably just to pad out the version of the game when this was first introduced honestly.
Also I did not expect Introduction to Trains 101 today, will there be a test?
Like after certain point if you're in that much of a hurry you could walk along the railroad tracks (okay the game mechanics wouldn't let you do that, but you get what I mean).
The trainer levels take a jump at this point, but at your levels you should be able to handle it. . . . as long as you don't run into another situation like that imposter Ditto. Holy shit I haven't been legit concerned about a battle in this run for awhile.

This Oblitus Town is having an effect on you. . . it's making you relatively nice to Melia and Venam. Though they haven't done anything blatantly reckless lately so that helps.
If you think how you played as a kid is bad, I apparently didn't know that you could switch Pokemon playing Gold, so I ended up with a level 54 Pidgeot fighting Jasmine and her Steelix the first time I ever touched the game.
Oh boy, it's time for the introduction to ANOTHER terrorist group to the mix. Hopefully bladestar and whoever those glasses wearing weirdoes at the Pyramid later are the last because it's honestly getting ridiculous.
Yeah this chapter could be called filler, but it was fun at least. Better than most of the time travel arc ones (not because of you, but what was going on in the game. Which could be summed up as one long cutscene/exposition dump) honestly.

The plot can't advance without you but everyone else resolves the plot, that's Rejuvenation in a nutshell. I imagine they were just sitting there saying he'll be back anytime now. . any second now. . . .
You're only being so generous to the group because you haven;t been around them in such a long time, I'm sure that'll change in a chapter or two.
The people on the train were surprisingly normal except for the lady with the random kid attached to her, maybe she's a version of you in an alternate universe on her own adventure. She's angry enough.
The surprising thing about all this is that the train didn't explode or wreck, though only through "Krystal"s efforts. Who I'm 50/50 on being the champion, she could be a red herring or she could be champ but get bodied like Amethyst did in Reborn.
Also you have to know by now the only thing you're gonna get "lucky" in is Pokemon Battles here. You should honestly be used to it by now.
Time for the Fairy Forest, which I honestly think is one of the coolest looking environments in the game. There's actually similar area in Sword and Shield and it looks just as cool.

You show admirable self-control for not going for the extremely dated "Over 9000" joke when going through the power levels of your mons.
Honestly that Advanced Pokedex looks amazing, though finding some of those mons to get access to it sounds immensely tedious. It's probably for the best that you released those mons you caught, though Zangoose can be pretty good if you use em right.
Rose, Chiller, and Caesar being the top dogs of your team doesn't surprise me in the slightest. But the penguin being so high is amazing, he's gonna be a great asset when you finally get around to using him for real.

I honestly never nicknamed my mons when I was younger, like I didn't start doing that until I got into nuzlockes around 2010. Said naming scheme for my mons is basically like yours: whatever strikes you at the moment. Like I've gone with the VERY generic Ember for a female Charizard, Darknut for a Chesnaught, fun stuff like that.
And now the filler is over and the plot beckons. I'm kinda bummed I was having fun with the scenic tour of the parts of the region you've already visited. But it had to end eventually and hey the immediate section of the game isn't all that difficult so there's that at least.

The whole champion of Unova joke was a reference to the theory that Alder was former bug catcher considering half his team is bug types. . . it's a weak theory admittedly but there was traction for it back in the day.
100 Chapters. . . that's a minor miracle in itself considering what the game throws at you. But good on you for your dedication probably powered by spite at this point. Also the reward for 100 chapters sounds like a pretty good idea, like the Focus Sashes. They're not OP here because you'll likely to burn through them pretty fast considering some of the bosses. But they might come in clutch.
I honestly think Version 19 of Reborn won't be out till like 2022 at the rate it's going. I don't think ANYONE expected it would take this long. I'm more invested in Rejuvenation by far, but at this point I just wanna see how Reborn ends. . . for better or worse.
Let's be honest, you kidnapping these kids to a orphanage (A good one at that) is like the best possible outcome for them considering all the cults and terrorists running around the place. Maman had "Anime Mom" Syndrome written all over her, but it was oddly endearing seeing you desperately throw money at the problem.
I'd say here's to hundred more, but I'm not sure if that's a curse or a blessing a this point.

You know when I saw Karrina's shopping spree, I was expecting there to be some kind of deal on some rare item. . . and it would be revealed that Karrina had bought them all. Karrina's one of the better characters in the game I think.

Holy crap I did not think you could catch that Empoleon. I thought you'd beat it and it would offer a Piplup as a reward (Boy that takes a new meaning in the scene afterwards) This is MUCH better. Though with the level cap you probably can't use him yet.
Now the PLOT beckons, you can't run forever!
Also congrats on making it 100 chapters, the dedication it takes to keep this going for so long is kinda impressive.

I'm sure that was just a blast, especially when alternate Universe Amber starts wailing on Melia.
Saki probably just saw a body falling and acted on impulse, but the last part I really can't defend in universe. Out of universe it's just a reason to leave you short handed at the peak and get the desired scene. Considering what Saki's gym battle is like in V13 (she has TWO megas in Intense just fyi) , she could have probably soloed the peak
It's just for atmosphere sadly.
So I assume you managed to fix the screenshot issue that came up in V13 then? Also that works better than what is essentially one long cutscene with battles. Be a perfect time to round up any remaining sidequests.
I'm half tempted to just make an account on the Nuzlocke forum and comment there, it seems much easier on that site. Also I could comment on all the other runs I follow there. (RIP Pikafan, she's in for a rough time in Reborn)

Not quite relevant, but now you have the ability to catch mons in the Bad Future. Kinda funny to imagine you catching the mon then it fades away when you change timelines.

Oh that one with Pokemon's favorite reoccurring NPC. There's worse side-quests in this game let's be honest.

Oh boy Zetta is back for a little while at least. At least his dialogue is brief this time.
Also I'm going to say now, wow Aelita really pulled her weight in this battle. Her fighting types decimating those mons caught me by surprise, because damn near every version of this fight I've seen youtube in her getting decimated and leaving the PC more or less 1 v 2.
Blaziken nuking the Mega-cham before it can even blink was the highlight honestly.
But not as awesome as your plan. As soon as I saw Kunai, I guessed your plan, but doing it with Shuckle with just the icing on the cake. I can already see why this took weeks to edit. But we appreciate the work if nothing else!

It's really a bummer when Jan has these made up attacks with super cool names, but there's no actual animation. It's gotten a lot better in V13, but it's funny going back to earlier versions.

Golden Shuckle (or Shuckle Might if you prefer) is amazing with the Machoke body (makes me miss Bluster, he would have loved that). Too bad the time needed for set up makes things kinda dangerous.

I've heard of Dark Crystal, but really the only thing of Henson's I'm familiar with is well Muppets to be honest.
Maybe you should ask Aelita how she gets past the level caps since she apparently doesn't have to worry about them. (It's funny to think after all this she has only two badges.)
