  1. My guess is that it'll come around in October. We're almost at the point in the year where progress picks up (though its impact may be a bit hamstringed by the current epidemic), and the Gen. 8 stuff is swiftly reaching its completion- heck, BlueTowel's Alt Forms mod for Reborn is almost done with its Galar Update as well! The tricky part lies in the story stuff, most likely- they've been getting more and more ambitious with how you proceed through the new part of the game with every update lately, after all.

I don't remember if they specified when the third costume option would be added in the Q&A, but if it's in V13 it's bound to slow things down a bit further (they've caused quite a few issues with the protagonists' redesigns in V10, and 7th character was bugging out a bit in V9 as well). Something worth keeping in mind, at least.

  2. Everything else you listed is currently unavailable outside of being chosen as your starter as of V12. Most of them are kinda understandable due to being pretty dang powerful (though the Infernape Crest wishes it could be used more), and then there's chespin. I haven't the foggiest as to why we're missing that one, TBH. 😅

Will the nature mints be a thing?

I personally doubt it, seeing as we have an NPC whose sole purpose is to do their job already, and he strikes as someone who could be quite relevant should something big happen in the Reject District from a story perspective to boot. It's ultimately up to the Devs., though, so who knows?

  4. Frankly, we simply don't know enough about it to tell if it's referencing the anime or the classical rites at this point. Most notably, we also don't know which Team Xen it's tied to- and if the red-haired Mysterious Figure is indeed Freya, then we have someone tied to the original version actively manipulating things here. For all we know, they could be the actual controllers for this issue and Flora was biting at the wrong tree the whole time. 😓

  5. The fact that West Gearen went untouched is a matter of in-universe politics. When the Blakeory's decided to turn all of their focus to GDC, they gave the eastern half to Jan and co. in a surprising act of charity (there's almost certainly far more red tape involved, knowing them, but we probably don't need to be privy to that information), whilst still keeping control of the western half. Since Jan and co. didn't have legal control of the entire city, they weren't able to clean up all of it- and attempting to do so most likely would've been a violation of the agreement. Thus, West Gearen continues to be the Dark City while East Gearen has been rejuvenated.

  6. Spoiler

I don't remember the exact solution off the top of my head, since that part of the sidequest has changed a bit since I've last played it in V9, but I do no this: your choices don't have any direct impact on this one, and you already have the solution available to you. It'll be a bit before you can get back to GDC, I believe, but it should still be available for completion once you do.

  7. It's not checking your Bladestar Choices, but you're overall Karma Score. The choices do have some impact on your Karma, true, but most of it is going to be pulled from other sources over the long course of the game.

As for your last statement, the entire plot was determined after V6, including that there'd be several endings, so that seems like a foregone conclusion at this point. Notably, V12 gives you a series of options in one questline that are very obviously leading up to a bad ending even with the need for a Karma check, and likely going to be necessary to get the absolute worst ending in the game.

I don't think it will be about brainwashing, because

      Reveal hidden contents

the whole virus/vaccine/brainwashing thing was already used in Insurgence, I doubt Jan would use the same story as another popular fangame.

    Spoiler

I wouldn't be so sure about that- the overall plot of the game, including what the Xenpurgis is, was decided after V6, which released back in 2015. That part of Insurgence would debuted with most of the rest of the game when the Suzerain decided not to do things episodically anymore, which dropped a year later. Given that data, it seems doubtful that Insurgence would've had that degree of influence even if it did have a similar plot point by coincidence (it is a pretty common trope, after all).

On the other hand, Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon also released during that time frame, and Rejuvenation already has a pretty heavy amount of influence from that game (see: the turning people to stone thing, for example), so it is still theoretically possible. Though I doubt the Devs. would tell us if you are right...

As for my own thoughts on what the Xenpurgis Nacht is... I really haven't the foggiest. As a Madoka fan, my initial thought is certainly that it'll be a particularly massive and powerful Rift of some sort, one Team Xen can't control and is currently trying to keep held back, but this feels like it'd be something more than that given the context of everything else going on in the world. The Puppet Master's insistence that we should beware the thing is certainly suspect, since almost every other sign seems to point to the second Calamity will be something else entirely. Yeesh...

i am on the fence about this game. i heard its awesome, but i am a very casual player. If i play easy mode, how had is this game's version of easy?

I can't say anything for the overall difficulty as a Reborn-Style player myself, but I do know that you get a slight edge in regards to the Gym Battles. Where the harder two difficulties give every Gym Leader a full six pokemon (with one exception), Casual Mode instead gives you 4 pokemon to beat. There's also apparently some sort of level-down code, so that should help out a little bit as well (there was a bit of trouble back in V10 where it affected a battle it definitely should not have, which is why I know about it). It'll probably still be a little harder than a main series game early on, but it'll be a more lenient way to learn the game's ropes and enjoy the story~!

  10. The attack on the Grand Dream Ball happens no matter what; what your choices leading up to it determine is how drastic Flora's measures getting there are. If you keep quiet about her, then naturqally should wouldn't have to bust out of the court room, since she was never imprisoned in the first place.

    The absolute worst outcome

    Spoiler

has her execute Florin as part of the announcement she makes during the attack, which I think we can all agree was a bit extreme...

So will the mystery egg be able to have galaran darumuaka and will more mons be added to the list?

I highly doubt that more pokemon will be added to the list- the Mystery Egg in both games have maintained a strict 18 option availability list (one for each Type), which doesn't seem like something Jan would be too keen on changing. What the representitives are, however, are guaranteed to see sort of change- Rejuvenation's got mareanie on its Mystery Egg list despite predating Gen. 7, after all.

As for Galarian darumaka specifically... I'd be genuinely surprised if it did get added. Both forms of Galarian darmanitan are notorious for savagely bludgeoning competitive on release, so they're probably going to be deemed too powerful to be given right after the third Gym. Never mind the fact that the current Ice representative is the generally respected sneasel, which I don't see getting dropped anytime soon on its own. Naturally, it's always possible for the Devs to make me eat my words, so we'll just have to wait and see.

  12. Regarding the ladder, we'll just have to wait and see. The Q&A did reveal that it would be accessible eventually, but how soon it'll be was left up in the air.

As for the Tournament... I dunno. The government's been to busy making sure that their leader was still safe in the days following Bladestar's attack to make any official announcements on the matter (as far as we're aware, anyway), so who knows how things are looking from that angle. On the other hand, it's looking increasingly likely that it was the Mysterious Figures that signed us up in the dang thing, and they don't seem like the types to do anything if they don't think it'll go exactly the way they want it to. I highly doubt putting us a "convenient" reason to travel to the Eclysia Pyramid was the only thing they had in mind for that move if I'm correct on this one.

  13. It does make me wonder if Saki's gonna be a Double Battle, actually. It most reasonable for G-Duradulon to keep its Signature Stalwart Ability, which doesn't do anything in Single Battles. Failing that, it seems reasonable that it'd have a "new" Ability like Mega Charizard Y's Drought, since Heavy Metal and Light Metal don't do a whole lot (and even less, if Gigantimax's lack of a Weight stat is carried over from the main games).

Isn't Rejuv not including Dynamax or Gigantamax?

Dynamax isn't being used at all, while the Gigantimax forms are reportedly being retrofitted to serve as custom Mega Evolutions. No point in letting official designs go to complete waste, ya know?

  15. They've been brought up in the main discussion, and aren't the only... off-putting posts on the account. As a whole, it's pretty clear that someone's pulling a few more strings than initially expected. At least, the Risa angle may be a bit different than I initially thought.

  16. If I may offer some advice, Baby Pokémon are guaranteed to have at least 3 IVs at 31, making them pretty handy for chain breeding in the perfect ditto's stead. They may be a bit tedious to evolve, sure, but no more so than the actual breeding process itself.

  17. Unfortunately, we wouldn't be able to help here even if we did. Trading isn't implemented in Rejuvenation, so the only options available are either continuing the reset train or genning one in.

  18. I did say that you can get to the eighth one in my answer to Question #4, so yeah. It's not very functional as an HM quite yet (and neither is the Golden Jetpack, for that matter), but it is available for use as a Physical Water attack pokemon that don't have access to Liquidation can use. Scald's also up there, so Water's pretty solidly supported as of V12.

  19. Spoiler

    1) The vileplume aren't permanently removable yet. There's someone in one of the Ranger Huts that sells a powder that can temporarily remove them, but they'll respawn the next time you reload the map.

    2) Spiritomb's Lost Tower is in the north part of the Darchlight Woods. Once you interact with it the first time, you'll have to talk to 30 people (or one person 30 times), then come back at night to finally spawn it. Blame Sinnoh.

    3) I know Toxic isn't in the game yet, Waterfall is in the GDC Department Store, and Sunny Day is... somewhere I don't remember off the top of my head. The Weather TMs are needed to get the Castform Crest, so naturally they're all in the game already.

    4) There are enough to get you to the eighth floor. Have fun with that.

    5) That questline is a multiparter that's been ongoing since V9, and isn't quite finished yet. You're as far with it as the rest of us ATM.

    6) The Life Orb is a potential reward for a sidequest chain. I dunno if the Leftovers is available normally somewhere, but one sidequest does end with a snorlax encounter, and I believe those can potentially carry one in the main series.

    7) It is not, though we have a pretty good idea of who's got it. Yet another questline that's in wait mode, unfortunately.

8 ) The Ice Stone won't give you glaceon yet, since V12 uses Gen. 7's mechanics. I wanna say that the island off of Akuwa Town's coast has the Icy Rock you'll need for that, but I admittedly wasn't paying too much attention there, so take it with a grain of salt. As for your actual question, I don't believe so- at the very least, they can't be mined.

    9) There's a bunch of weird Field Effect interactions you need to go through with that one. Don't remember them all off the top of my head, outside of it being annoying to prepare for...

    10) Phione can be caught freely after a Terajuma Help Quest, and Zygarde's 10% form can be created once you collect all 100 cells and the first Core. That's another challenge in and of itself, though...

Well, it seems I've been Accelgor'd. Thanks for the assist, Enderowl!

  20. ...I somehow managed to forget that was them. Well, the caves are still an option, and those two really need to deal with their sleep deprivation now. 🤷‍♀️

I feel like at least one core would be near Garufan territory. They'd probably have captured at least one, and it would probably make for a good sidequest to have to go and retrieve it from the depths of some old Garufan facility. Call it HL5 or something, because that quest line has a history of giving insight into ancient Garufan structures.

That's a fair point, though HL5 specifically is out of the question, I feel (the sidequest already has a tendency to lock people out, no need to exacerbate the issue), but thankfully it's not the only quest we've had that deals with Garufan shenanigans (I really oughta use Solatone at some point...).

  21. Hmm, that's an interesting point. If I remember correctly, there are canonically 5 Zygarde Cores (at least as far as Alola's concerned), which would initially seem at odds with Aevium's four Subregions… until you remember that Terrial is further split into two drastically different landmasses. I figure that there'd be one Core per landmass, so my guesses are...

Floria: Route 4's fancy new Wild Area (a place that big and unspoiled by man's bound to attract an ecosystem-defense system, after all)

Terrajuma: Part of the jungle we don't currently have access to (somewhere down the river beneath the Lover's Bridge, perhaps? 🤔); Valor Mountain's also an option, but that place is packed to the brim with events already...

East Terrial: Somewhere in Route 9, either beyond the two NPCs that have been in that absurdly long conversation (seriously, it's been almost a week in game, minimum...), or in the cave system.

West Terrial: the quicksand-filled cave (this is the one we already have, BTW)

Neverwinter: ...We've never been to any part of this place (assuming Blacksteeple isn't in its waters, of course), so I naturally can't guess for this one

Generally speaking, it seems unlikely that Zygarde would want to put it's most important parts near Garufan territory given their tendency to... mistreat the laws of nature in dramatic ways, but it also wouldn't want to be too far away as to keep it from springing to action should they pull anything dramatic enough. Of course, I'm not a partially-connected deific hivemind spread across several hundred miles of land, so my thought process might be a bit off here. 😅

Is she still trying to kill Amber?

Me and her are cool now, so that's a concern.

She will if Amber tries to visit her Animal Crossing island under charge of being dumb and mean, apparently

For a more serious answer, probably? While we were able to make up with Amber, Saki was abducted before that opportunity arrived for them, so her original personality would still have beef. And given that the Twitter appears to be using Saki's original design (remember that Valarie and Adam both sported different outfits and hair colors), it seems pretty reasonable to say that she'd have that personality the next time the two meet. Assuming, of course, that there's actually anything serious about that account and its not some extended April Fools' joke...
