  1. Huh. wasn't aware that the entire city was completely closed down. That's entirely my bad, then.

Given the circumstances, there really isn't a lot of options available. I suppose you could save scum some mining rocks, though I'm not sure if the Xen Grunt that sells Blast Powder is still available at that point. This is quite the conundrum, huh?

Yea ive been flying but cant find anywhere to buy revive and I cant fly to GDC to buy revival herbs

While you can't fly to GDC directly, you can stop by either the Rose theatre, or the Ranch, both of which are very close to it. Fly also allows you to maneuver around the city itself really easy (and without having to spend cash on the subway! )once you're within its bubble, making it less of a hassle to find the shop you're looking for that way.

  3. I'm not sure about the songs themselves, since I haven't downloaded the pack yet, but some of the titles seem... odd. I can kinda accept Valerie's Battle~ Bloom as an algae reference, but the only thing venomous I can think of about Florin is his apparent naivete, which is an awfully weak explanation. I also kinda get the feeling that Marianette and Souta's titles were accidentally switched- Curtains doesn't feel accurate for the old man, and while Clouds does make some sense for the former character, one only has play the fight to see how on-point it is for Souta.

That's all minor nitpicks, though. It's nice to see the Rejuv. side get updated after your expressed thoughts from V11, and I'll certainly be using it later. I've quite enjoyed the Reborn pack, so why wouldn't I do the same for this one? 😆

Is there really nothing for winning or losing against Aelita/ Melia? Not even karma?

Given that there doesn't seem to be any Relationship Points involved (understandable, Aelita did warn everyone that something might go sour like this if you're not careful), it almost certainly has an impact on Karma. This isn't visible in the guide, however, because the guide's specifically for Relationship Points. Earning Karma's just as thoroughly entrenched in the story, and a complex enough topic to warrant its own guide when that time comes.

  5. There isn't really a canonical reason for it, no. The best I've found is that it's because the nidos are partially based on rhinos, the females of whom are notoriously difficult to breed in captivity (which being in a Trainer's possession qualifies as), while the males can get it on just fine; on the other hand, the rhyhorn line doesn't have this issue, and are even more rhino-like than the the nidos, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In the end, it's probably just GameFreak being stupid with some small details again.

I chose "Take a break" after the first virtual Elite 4 battle and when I started the next one, it used my player's actual team instead of the virtual one.
Continuing with or without a break afterward still used my actual team. I'm assuming this would happen no matter when I choose this option.
Continuing the whole way through without taking breaks uses the virtual team as expected.

Hoo, boy, this one gets real weird. Let's start with the basics: in addition to enabling you to use your own pokemon, the glitch also removes the Glitch Field from the rest of the gauntlet. This admittedly doesn't do much mechanically (outside of Bruno's hitmonlee being to roll Swallow off of Metronome), but does enable the player to see that Koga and Bruno's sprites aren't properly cleared out, as shown below:

    Spoiler

    2i14NvQ.png

These errors are normally undetectable due to the Glitch Field's white background, so it's not that big a deal.

Furthermore, choosing to take a break between Karen and Lance resets Barbara's dialogue, forcing you to do the entire gauntlet all over again. It's a true reset, though, meaning that the Virtual Team and Glitch Field will be back up and functional as if it were the first time you played through that part of the sidequest. As a side effect, Will will always be fought as intended.

I've also had incident where I took advantage of the first break to swap around my party a bit, only to have the game restore the original lineup once I had beaten Lance. This turned my silvally and volcarona into other pokemon entirely, which... isn't exact a pleasant surprise. I haven't had much luck in recreating the error, however.

  7. Welp, it seems a lot of my questions were properly swallowed up, so, uh, unplanned inquiry dump is go, I guess?

Dunno if it's too soon to ask this from a coding perspective, but oh well: once we get enough Zygarde Cores to upgrade it, so to speak, will the reconstruction process reroll the pokemon, or are its traits set from the moment its first put together?

    V12 sidequest spoilers:

    Spoiler

If the Interceptor took the Decimation to the face in the ruined present, did the ensuing damage occur to that timeline's Core, or the one in Interceptor's timeline of origin?

Is there any chance of Douse getting reworked? I remember being a bit disappointed when I found out that it was just a slightly-stronger Water Gun, and it doesn't seem to have changed any since V9.

Speaking of custom attacks, here's a couple question regarding a certain subset:

    1) I remember reading some time ago that it was planned for the Gym Leaders' Signature Moves to be made available to the player later on down the line. Is that intended to be post-game, or will a couple show up slightly earlier?

    2) What sort of thought process goes into making the Signature Attacks?

Are the "Mysterious Figures" the rogue Stormchasers that were mentioned in V10?

Does Flora pull the Rift Ferrothorn out for the raid on the Judicial District in the event that the Classified Information hadn't been completed by that point?

Dragging this out from the void for posterity real quick, and...

As for Crests, they're an idea I came up with at the end of v10. It started because I forced myself to play with Delcatty on a personal playthrough of Emerald. It was so bad that I wished there was something in the game similar to Pikachu's Light Ball to make it viable. Then I decided to look up if there were anything similar to the Light Ball and came across the Mystery Dungeon series. Apparently they have Pokemon specific items that act as passive buffs? I thought that was really cool and decided to bring it to Rejuv. I had no idea how people would receive this mechanic because it'd be bordering on the fine line of fake megas (Even though technically fakemon do exist).

It's why some of the early crests were so basic. Just stat increases. We wanted to test the waters with it first before we did anything too drastic.

Surprisingly, people love them. Which is great because I love Crests too. Not as much as Griselda, though. That's just unhealthy.

Oooh, that's interesting~! I always did personally how the drifblim-specific items were able to pump it up a bit without forcing it to lose its Unburden access (I swear that Ability was busted in PMD2), though I'll admit that I didn't think of this mechanic specifically until I found out that the Silvally Crest was reworked to more greatly resemble the base mechanic. Though now I'm wondering if the king of Iesei (I think I misspelled that >_>;) would've had any significant role in the worldbuilding prior, aside from maybe being the ruler of yet another currently nameless kingdom.

On a different note, is there any particular reason why Zygarde doesn't seem to have taken any action to stop the Calamity? It's kinda the sort of thing it's supposed to stop, after all.

  10. I think I already know what sort of answer I'm gonna get for this one, but I'll ask anyway: Seeing as the episode subtly revealed that the Garufa were not only a society of skilled mages, but also quite technologically advanced (I wonder how many other people bothered reading the doors in the ark), how likely is it that the latter will have a role in the mechanics in upcoming versions?

On a slightly different note, how early were the Crests planned to be a thing before the implementation in V11?

It may only be a detail...

      Reveal hidden contents

But I noticed there is no control panel of info about the gym leader, signature move or field effect for Ryland... Or maybe I just missed it?

    Spoiler

There's no Info. Panel because the Gym battle itself is technically beyond the scope of the League, and Flora is even less honor-bound than Angie was. The fact that we even got a Badge from it at all is wholly graciousness on Ryland's part.

I kinda figured that that was what it did in V11. No wonder the Devs decided to change it! I do wonder what it got changed into, seeing as the V12 Changelog is a bit vague in that regard.

Um So I was looking at the V12 Changelog on the document file and it said Silvally Crest has anyone located it as yet and if you guys did; how and where did you find it?

In the previous Version, it was exclusively used in a Geara fight on Intense Mode, with lower difficulty settings never encountering it at all. I'd imagine that it's still the case, give the items' lore, so... it's unobtainable as of now.
