If you're looking for a move that will help you get through the early game, Dragon Rage is a better bet than anything else.

I'm thinking of doing a starter-only run, but the [E17] Pokemon by gym leader topic doesn't list the starters except in the starter area, and the [E16] Pokemon locations have some of the starter but I'm worried they're out of date. Is there an up to date list of where you can find starter Pokemon in the wild?

I'm playing through a mono-dragon run and am about to get to the infamous Garchomp. Anyone have any ideas on a mono-dragon team can defeat him?

Neither of them are showing up, though. I thought since Turtonator wasn't there, Heatmor would be, but I'm not seeing him either.

I'm in Pyrous mountain trying to find Turtonator. When I rock smash the rock where he should be, I get Magcargo. This should mean Heatmor shows up down the other ladder leading to where the Charcoal and Fire Stone are but he doesn't show up. Any ideas? Were they moved in E18?

Unsure if anyone's interested, but I made a breakdown of unique 'mons available per monotype and compared that to the amount of unique 'mons overall. It was useful for me to know, at a glance, how many pokemon I'd have available for any given run. Might not be 100% accurate since I'm only using it for my own personal use, but it's close. What moveset did you have on Castform?

I've been looking through other people's AAR on their challenge runs and I know I don't have the patience to make the post look pretty. I'm interested in talking about the challenge and see if anyone else has done it. I'm only using Pokemon that cannot evolve (mega-evolution does not count). Interestingly, the only pokemon that's not available is Kangaskhan, so I chose it as my starter. Otherwise, I was having a blast with Chatot in a previous run and allowed myself him as well before Julia. Otherwise, here the available mons pre-Shelly: Pokemon Location Unown Grand Stairway B2F: Cave Dunsparce Grand Stairway B2F: Cave Stantler Malchous Forest: Egg (1/4 chance event) Plusle Obsidia Alleyway: Event (Pokesnax required) (1/2 chance event) Minun Obsidia Alleyway: Event (Pokesnax required) (1/2 chance event) Zangoose Lapis || Obsidia || Peridot: Event Chain (Start the chain in one of the alleys where you see a Zangoose in a garbage bin during night. Afterwards play Hide and Seek throughout the alleys for 4 turns.) (I think it could be found as soon as the first badge in one of the Peridot Alleyways and then "cheese" the random factor to keep the hide and seek only in that region, but legitimately you can find it before Shelly.) I have a free space in my party and a Pokeball (the basic kind) but when I evolve Nincada, I don't get Shedinja. What am I missing?

Does anyone have a Nincada, Smeargle, or Chatot egg they're willing to give away?

Would like to try a challenge run with these Pokemon, and would appreciate anyone who can help me out with getting them on a fresh file.
