Spoiler
There's a new item just north of Julia's gym in Peridot called the Gift Box. I played through the main story of Episode 19 once, but ended up not exploring very much. Anyone know what this is for, or who to give it too?

Well i'm back with another problem.
The first part of the minecart puzzle is solved. But when i try to continue with the second cart that brings you more down below it goes al the way around and then brings me back to the start.
Would you mind checking the victory road in my game entirely? because this is the second time with a bug....
Thanks in advance
Fixed.

Having more or less rished through the retold story I have to say it comes across a lot better. More character screen-time, earlier intro of important characters, and redone story beats really make certain characters a lot more likable than they have been early on.
SpoilerSpecifically Heather, who is much, MUCH better.

I think it's to accommodate Hidden Power Fairy, which can't be obtained Legitimately in mainstream Pokémon games.
Rejuvenation changed the formula so that Fairy works with Hidden Power. More likely its just to make IV calculations unnecessary.

Hi, I was checking my Hidden Power types in Apophyll, and the result was a bit surprising and jarring. I let him inspect a Roselia with an IV set typical for HP Fire (31/16/31/30/31/30, top to bottom in summary), after which he told me it had HP Dark. When I checked other mons, there were mismatches as well when I compared with a reliable IV calculator on the web.
Has the way Hidden Power is determined changed, or is something else going on?
I'm not sure about any formula, but in the Circus there's a way to change the Hidden Power Type. Don't know if that's available anywhere else.
Changing IVs manually does not affect Hidden Power notably.

You’re half right and half wrong. Police Officers Sidequest must be done to obtain Growlithe, even before battle against Taka and ZEL with third Pulse Tangrowth.
I am not half-wrong. You can find the last officer just before the third Pulse Tangrowth. At which point you’ve beaten two of them and finished the first puzzles.

Gotta remember there are other fire types available like Arcane and I think houndoom if I'm not mistaken. They're good alternative choices if you start with a water or grass starter. Just like how Roserade is available if you use a fire type
Growlithe isn't available until you've already beaten two badges, fought through both early forests, and beaten two of the Pulse Tangrowth's. Its good, no argument there, but too late to take advantage of the advantage fire starters have early on. Houndour is locked behind the gang quests, which means you can't get it until even later. Post-Shelly IIRC.

The thing about starters is that they are most valuable in the early game, because options are lacking. A starter that starts bad-mediocre, and then gets better is worse as a STARTER than a starter that starts great and then falls off in power. With that in mind IMO both Totodile and Snivy don't qualify as being top level starters. Both have deeply mediocre movesets, and only get good if you hold off evolving them until level 43, which is a terrible idea if you're playing just with the starter. That would require keeping an extremely weak stage one on your team at the point in the game where your starter is most valuable. It also means that starters weak against the early game as less valuable. Which heavily tilts the scales against Water types, because 3 Tangrowth + Julia + Florinia; and weights the scales TOWARD fire types because of the abundance of grass types early, in particular the three Tangrowths, and special fire types particularly since those often have moves to light up the forest fields that are ubiquitous. So with that in mind.
IMO:
1. Torchic (Speed Boost OP)
2. Charmander (Dragon Rage + spread fire move destroys the early game)
3. Chimchar (basically a better Blaziken apart from Speed Boost)
4. Froakie (Great, but let down a bit by level up movepool)
5. Cyndaquil (basically Charmander but no Dragon Rage)
Six would probably be Fennekin, then Mudkip. Bottom of the pile is Tepig, which just sucks, Squirtle which sucks and has all the other problems water types face, and Oshawatt, because Unova starters were bad.

Yes, so it have to be, because i delete next save file... But game loads the same scene no matter which save file i rename as "game.rxdata"
As @Starry Knight noted try deleting the .rxdata, that's the file type like .doc is for Word. Otherwise go ahead and upload that one with Florinia.
19 hours ago, Starry Knight said:Maybe re-upload it for them sometimes it just helps to run it on anther computer
I normally would, but figured it was the wrong file based on the description of where they were.

Hi!
Yesterday i earn first badge. Game are still running while i did some other things. Game saved progress by itself - right while dialog with Florinia was going. And now it stucks - none of control work. Renaming back up files not help.
That file booted up fine for me, but you were in Julia's gym room.

I did that and unfortunately it just straight up deleted the game, so I have to start over again :( do you have any soloution to this or is it done? Did I do something wrong here? I deleted the file and renamed the other file game.rxdata, but when I tried to open it it was a new save file
I know this has been fixed by trading, but to be clear the issue is probably that you renamed the file Game.rxdata.
This is incorrect. The “.rxdata” is not part of the name, it’s the file type. Like “.doc” is for a word document. The correct name is just “Game” without quotations. The other name is read by the computer as “Game.rxdata.rxdata”, which will not work.

Um... on another note, I'm curious as to what all besides the gym we'll get to see in Labradorra.
The place was supposed to have been abandoned, so my guess is that it will be largely ruined apart from the gym and whatever work Meteor has put in during their time under the shield.

Yeah there's even an area in her gym where you can encounter Porygons that are always shiny. She's a skilled hacker so I wouldn't be surprised if she can extend her capabilities to the game itself if she was medium aware
That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that what she did is within realistic possibility for people who DON'T have any kind of special abilities. Whenever you use the PC to swap Pokemon you, the Player Character, do the same thing only with Pokemon instead of people. And heck, in the snowy city you fight a Pokemon battle inside a computer, no Terra required. Terra going into a computer isn't a world-breaking event, its just how computers work in Pokemon.

I’m not very convinced. Terra’s somehow warping reality as easily as she breathes, so “going into her computer world” (this world being, let’s face it, as crude as she is) is almost expected. *
I'm not sure why that's so surprising or impossible. A core mechanic of the games is putting living things inside a computer. And in the show the ability to digitize people and put them inside a computer happened in a certain Season 1 episode. All Terra did was extend known capabilities very slightly.

You misunderstand, the void section’s fine. It’s what comes AFTER (and to a lesser extent before) that’s unacceptable. I could go in detail on why it doesn’t work and how it can
be improvedmade less awful, but the truth is I already have elsewhere. I now see that the devs didn’t give a shit and think it’s “the best part of the game” and “masterful storytelling” as is, so I’m not gonna bother writing it all again here. The cutscene isn't THAT long, and you can skip the whole thing quickly just by having speed-up enabled and holding the escape key.

Nidoqueen does not have 43 speed. It has a base 76 speed stat, and is level 41. That puts its speed somewhere in the 80s, assuming 0 EVs (which I think is the case with Aya). Where did you even get the 43 number from?
And I agree with the above poster, why do you have Alolan DIGLETT at Aya?

Does this mean Lin has an Arceus? O.O
She pretty much has to what with the Pulse-Arc that was specifically talked about in Ep. 18. Can't introduce something like that and NOT have us fight it.

Move that into your save folder where you got the original. Make sure to overwrite the old one.

I just had a really stupid idea:
What if none of this happened. What if, as a result of the train wreck, we are dreaming all of this. We could just be in the hospital, and dreaming...
Then why did the devs just spend the last several years making the post-game?

Around 1024? 1024 is already a very accurate number. It is also 2^10 basically, maybe that means switches are coded on 9 bits or something?
There are 1043 labeled switches in the game as of Episode 18 (with an additional 57 left blank), but some of them have been rendered obsolete, such as an early one labeled 'REMOVED Drifloon'.
And as someone who does save file fixing and sometimes has to mess around in the Switches my response is...oh dear. :p

Hello. Recently I had to get a new computer, thankfully I was able to transfer most of my files to another one. However, when trying to save in both Reborn and Rejuvenation, I get a "Save Failed" Notification. I was hoping someone could help me with this. Below is my most recent Reborn save file.
Unfortunately that sounds like a computer issue. What does the notification say? Or could you provide an image of it?

Hey, Archer wasn't showing up for me in the underground so I tried to force it by giving out an application before he was there... now the quest is stuck with Razzy already at the factory but he's not been given an application according to Archer. If a flag could be changed or Razzy could be reset that would be great!
Do you still need help?

She had no other choice but to join Team Meteor.
People always have a choice. And there is no indication that it was different for her. Eclipse has some half-hearted justifications she makes before Sirius attacks her, but they're barely justifications at all. She says that Lin made them more brutal, but even so talks about how even before that they were going to "cleanse" (yeah, wonder what that's code for), the city. And by her own admission did not care until someone she actually gave a damn about was in danger.
Just following orders is not a defense.
