  1. I like Titania.

And fucking hate Bennet. Knock him down to F so far as I'm concerned.

Also, Serra should definitely be bumped up at least too spots on difficulty. Sure she's easy if you know the trick to her field, but she's still way harder than Corey, Samson, Kiki, Noell, or Shade. Bump Shelly up one too. And Samson down two.

Was exploring the refurbished Beryl ward and went to corey's gym. Saw him there before he ran off-screen. Was this supposed to happen earlier? And is it a lead-in to a later side quest?

    Its an event.

    Spoiler

Zorua's specifically. You'll need to track it through Peridot, and then it ends up near Magma's old hideout IIRC.

Why would Lin bother taking Ame's mons? Her Hydreigon is insanely powerful, and likely has an entire team as strong as hydreigon. Maybe it was the only thing on her team and she recognized a threat if she left behind pokemon that could defeat her ace, but Lin seems to be so confident in her own abilities that she doesn't even identify the player as a threat despite having mons in the 90s as of e18

    Spoiler

Well...if we assume that Lin is actually a girl playing a game without really understanding what she's doing, ie the robot idea, then it could be that she is operating off of the assumption that Ame is the Champion, therefore she is the best trainer in the region. Since she doesn't actually know the context of what's happening she doesn't get that Ame was really just the stand-in until the League was put back together. Add in that she has at least one of the Elite 4 as an underling, two if we count Bennett. Of the remaining members at least one is a little girl, and probably so is the other one. Theoretically there ISN'T anyone who can threaten her anymore.

after beating her against a mon that is 4x supereffective against her type wise

This actually is fairly easy to explain with Episode 18 information.

Lin's Hydreigon can be assumed to have gone through the process of giving it 252 EVs in every stat. A Hydreigon with 252 Sp. Def. Evs and 252 HP EVs will survive a Moonblast from a 252 Sp. A. Ninetales with a speedboosting nature 6% of the time. And Alolan Ninetales best set, the Aurora Veil one doesn't have 252 Sp. Attack EVs. It has 8. Under those conditions Hydreigon will never be OHKO'd by Moonblast.

Then if Aurora Veil isn't up, which in this case I think is a safe assumption since there is no hail that we can see during the battle, Hydreigon will always OHKO Ninetales with its follow-up Flash Cannon.

In game, I'm stuck on Serra rn

    Pssst...

    Use Nature Power. Tis good.

Or use a sturdy Graveler with Magnitude to shatter those pesky mirrors and take her toys away.

Don't do both of those things though. That won't work at all.

  6. Alolan Ninetales because Snow Warning and Aurora Veil is great, Walrein with Toxic, Protect, Substitute, and Blizzard because screw people who want to have fun, Mamoswine with Ice Shard and Earthquake to deal with pesky whatevers. Glaceon has the strongest Blizzard possible, and has the bonus of being the bestest Pokemon of all time. Alolan Sandslash with Slush Rush can abuse the heck of of hail to smash the opponent with silliness. Frost Rotom has great stats and has Blizbolt to boot. Froslass is similar, but with a normal and fighting immunity tossed in. Abomasnow can be another good hail setter as well.

I feel the early game power spike is much less impact-full than mid and late game spikes.

I feel this is irrelevant, as is the ultimate late-game power, hence why I ranked Greninja so low and think Serperior shouldn't be high either.

What I mean is that this is fundamentally about starters, so IMO should focus on the early game, with some look at the mid-game. So no later than Aya. The Starter Pokemon is a beginning tool. Like Kricketune, which I'd straight up give A+ tier for its power in the early game even if its awful by Corey. Once you're getting out of the city the starter isn't needed to buff up your team anymore like its so useful for at first. So by the time there are vastly better options, well okay then. Pokemon lose relevance as you go forward in the game.

Should Charizard be on your team by the time you're at the Circus? Probably not if we're being honest. But at the start is incredibly useful.

Note: all of this is assuming a ranking on power, nothing more. You want to use Charizard the whole game (or Kricketune, or literally ANYTHING else) go right ahead, you do you.

Do you believe Greninja to be worse than both Incen and Prim?

...hm...not sure. I've never used either one (I have a general thing about not using Pokemon my rivals use), so I don't know how good those two are. And I didn't comment on them due to that. Just considering the stats though, I doubt it. Especially Incineroar (though that might have something to do with me not liking physical fire types). Greninja does at least have great speed, while both Incineroar and Primarina have...basically no speed actually. And Greninja does at least have a good enough attack and special attack stat to let it be a mixed attacker. So maybe an A then. A bit worse than Charizard, but better than those two (at least in theory, since never used either).

How do link stones work? Do they work like normal evolution stones, basically gets rid of the possibility of mons to learn moves by level up, or do they still let the mons learn moves by level up?

Link stones just evolve a Pokemon that needs to be traded without actually trading. Anything else you have to do to evolve the Pokemon must still be done. Ex, to evolve Scyther you make it hold a metal coat, then use a link stone to get Scizor.

And you have the moves thing backwards. Stones don't remove the ability of Pokemon to learn moves by level up. Pokemon that evolve by stones just don't learn moves as they gain levels. The move pools are a programmed thing. The stones have nothing to do with it.

  10. IMO both Charizard and Typhlosion should be bumped up at least one tier. Charizard I'd actually move up two. Flame Burst from Charmeleon is amazing in the early forest fields that you fight in, since it completely negates the field and turns it against the opponent. And against Corey it lets you suicide attack any of his Pokemon should it be necessary on that path. And Dragon Rage on Charmander will be a powerful tool until at least Florinia. Typhlosion is less useful, but at least still has lava plume by the early 40s, letting it do similiar field based shenanigans. Though I could also see an argument for leaving it where it is.

Blastoise knocked down at least one. Though, Blastoise might honestly be worse than Meganium early game since at least Bayleef won't be one hit ko'd if any of Julia's Pokemon look at it funny, and resists Florinia as well. Wartortle has neither advantage.

And...Greninja needs to be bumped down too. Don't get me wrong, Greninja is good. Very good. I have one in my full playthrough of the last several episodes. But early game its not amazing like some of the others. Its level up movepool sucks until it is fully evolved, and the lack of TMs early game mean you can't abuse Protean enough to get major use out of it. IMO Infernape and Swampert are better than Greninja AS A STARTER. Solid B IMHO.

Serperior meanwhile is powerful, but until you get leaf storm to spam its meh, and its hidden ability can be downright bad you're not careful. Like Greninja its not very good as a starter IMO.

Feraligatr I'm unsure on. On the one hand it does have powerful physical moves to use in Crunch and Ice Fang. But it doesn't get a decent physical STAB move until well past the Circus, which again limits its viability as a starter, which as with Blastoise isn't helped by being weak to both Julia and Florinia. Though at least it will be able to hit Florinia's Pokemon with Ice Fang, so its not Squirtle levels of bad.

What's my c drive? Sorry I'm not knowledgeable about computers

If you're on Windows look here:

    https://www.rebornevo.com/index.php?/pr/save/

If you don't want to search your PC because that can take a while go into File Explorer and click on My PC. Open up the file named Windows (C:), then click on users. Choose yours, and then the saved games folder inside that will have reborn.

I need someone who can change me a Vainillite (the one that is bought with pieces) I only need 1 pokemon to exchange and I can not continue playing because the leader is beating me every time I fight against her...

I accidentally switched to the Vainillite that I bought with parts and I also did it with the one that came out of the ice cream machine ... so I don't have any Vainillite to exchange.

That's why I ask some pious soul, to give me a Vainillite, or better yet, the same one that was bought with the colored parts ... I beg you ...

I need to get that ring ... :c

Upload your save file and I'll give you one.

    Instructions here if needed:

Is there anything you get if you beat him or not worth trying?

You get some relationship points, a battle change-up later, and some modified dialogue; but that's it. Its not really worth starting over for.

As for beating him. There's lots of ways. Pretty much all of them involve Focus Sash or Sturdy. My favorite is Power Split. Basically you take most of Garchomp's attack away and give it to something else, then wail on the stupid thing until its finished. Also burn it. And leech seed it if possible. Cofagrigus and Shuckle work pretty well I've found.

Do you guys know where I could get a Magby or another good fire type for the gym, by chance?

You can find a Numel in front of the train station when it rains or buy a Slugma from the game corner.

But don’t expect Flora to lose to a fire type. Kricketune will be a better choice.
