Oh, I may have expressed myself wrongly, I don't have the option.
I checked the scripts file and the .rb files.
The first few lines of the script's main part (and also the only lines marked with MODDED):
#####MODDED
begin
ModsPath = Dir.pwd+"/Data/Mods/*.rb"
Dir[ModsPath].each {|file| load file }
end
#####/MODDEDThe code of the .rb files also seems to be fine. (Though I'm not a coding expert)
-
Well, all three are okay, so... :/
-
For some reasson, this doesn't work for me...
I replaced the Scripts.rpgxp file and put the Mods folder in the Data Folder.
Back in E16 I had no problems using this mod.
-
Well, that sounds like a great idea for a side quest, but then again... How did the Porygon-Z fuse with the PULSE machine?
And did those even exist back then?
And for what reasson would someone do that to Terra?
Though I think post-game PULSE sidequests could be possible, if there is an explainaton for the plot holes...
-
That would explain the scene with Lin in Shade's gym.
As we know, two of the four people will actually die, so the Lin we see might not be the real Lin.
(There's a whole speculation topic about that I think. But it really makes sense)
Also, I think Ame once answered to the question, if we will one day see the physical power of Lin with a yes, but don't quote me on that.
(And did she say we're gonna fight a pulse human one day? I'm not sure.)
But Ame could also just be trying to give us wrong traces, like with the Type:Null line...
-
But there's a reasson they want to enter the chambe:
They want to create a new world and Arceus probably wouldn't just do what they want...
Though it would be questionable, how they would get the literal god into a PULSE machine AND not having it just destroy the machine instantly...
Edit: And the biggest evidence would be the "PULSE Arc", mentioned multiple times by high ranked team Meteor members.
-
Quote
- Ame once stated that a human would be connected to a PULSE at some point of the game;
- Arclight had his eye removed;
Conclusion: DJ Arclight-PULSE
Well, I think pulse Arceus is more likely to happen.
If there would be a pulse human, I think it would be a major character.
Also, do you think there will be more than 12 pulses?
We have 00-07 in the pulse dex
08-10 could be Clawitzer, Mr. Mime, and the thing that makes the people asleep in Agate city. (Probably Hypno, because it's so well known for putting humans asleep)
11 could be pulse Arceus.
4 pulses seem to be a reassonable amount of pulses left, looking at how close we are to the post-game. (Or will the post-game contain more pulses? I mean team meteor will probably be defeated by then, right?)
(E17 will probably go up until the 16th badge, E18 up until the 18th badge + climax and then E19, which is confirmed to be post-game and the last episode. (Though I think it'll also add the elite 4 + champ)
So, the last two episodes are going to be huge, especially since E17 apparently is pretty small in the story department.
But that would be too predictable, would it?
-
Yeah, pulse Arceus would make sense, after all, team meteor wants to create a new world using Arceus and Arceus probably won't say "Okay, that's fine."
But then again...
How could the god of the universe be controlled by... Anything?
Though that could easily be explained with "video game logic"
So, what base stats could a pulse Arceus have?
It would probably keep the every stat is the same distribution and it should be out of question it would have the highest BST out of any pokemon/pulse.
With pulse Avalugg having a BST of 882, that would mean pulse Arceus would have at least 148 in every stat. (At 147 it would tie with pulse Avalugg's BST).
And we all know how hard this game can be...
So I'd guess between 160 - 180 in every stat.
But we all know Reborn's difficulty, so it's probably going to be 255 in everything. xD (Please no, I don't want to have to cheese it with destiny bond/ perish song/ curse...)

Before you read: This post contains spoilers about many parts of the game. If you haven't played through E16 already I recommend you to do so first. You have been warned.
Sorry for
badsuch great formatting, that your eyes are overwhelmed by it which makes it harder to read. So, first things first: The pulses that you can already battle/ register in your pulse dex.
We all know that pulses are quite strong, but have you ever wondererd how strong exactly?
Well, as there seem to be no conplete guides about it (the only thing I found was only up to pulse Abra, I believe), I looked into it and found the base stats of the pulses:
(Please note that there's a chance I made an error somewhere.)
SpoilerI heard the pulses have 6*31IV and 6*0EV with a neutral nature, but I can't confirm it at the moment.
Pulse 00
SpoilerGarbador
Type: Poison
Ability: Gooey
Well, the one we battle isn't actually a pulse garbador, so its exact base stats will remain unknown.
But I really wonder how a pulse Garbador would look like..
Pulse 01
SpoilerMagnezone
Type: Electric/ Steel
Ability: Levitate
HP: 70
Attack: 70
Defense: 160
Special Attack: 230
Special Defense: 140
Speed: 70
Base Stat Total: 740
Do you think Lumi and Evelyn are dead for good now?
Pulse 02
SpoilerAvalugg
Type: Ice
Ability: Solid Rock
HP: 105
Attack: 160
Defense: 255
Special Attack: 97
Special Defense: 255
Speed: 10
Base Stat Total: 882
Thanks god it has a bad defensive typing.
But still, that thing is a monster!
Pulse 03
SpoilerSwalot
Type: Poison/ Water
Ability: Water Absorb
HP: 100
Attack: 73
Defense: 210
Special Attack: 110
Special Defense: 210
Speed: 40
Base Stat Total: 743
Pulse 04
SpoilerMuk
Type: Poison
Ability: Protean
HP: 105
Attack: 105
Defense: 70
Special Attack: 97
Special Defense: 250
Speed: 40
Base Stat Total: 667
Protean... Yeah.
Do I have to say more?
Pulse 05
SpoilerTangrowth
Type: Grass/ Poison
Ability: Filter
HP: 100
Attack: 70
Defense: 200
Special Attack: 70
Special Defense: 160
Speed: 10
Base Stat Total: 610
Well, you have to beat some other Pokenob of a boss trainer first, so don't get fooled by the "low" stats.
And there are 3...
Pulse 06
SpoilerCamerupt
Type: Fire/ Ground
Ability: Desolate Land
Looking at the approximate stats from the pulse dex, I'm glad you don't have to fight this thing...
Pulse 07
SpoilerAbra
Type: Psychic/ Steel
Ability: Magic Guard
HP: 25
Attack: 20
Defense: 115
Special Attack: 195
Special Defense: 155
Speed: 140
Base Stat Total: 650
This thing was a nightmare...
It swept through my entire team...
And that's where the speculation begins!
We do know that there is a pulse Mr. Mime and a pulse Clawitzer.
The Agate sleep spell probably has something to do with a pulse, too.
When will we be able to battle which pulses?
Will there be a pulse to battle in E17?
What do you think are the 2 unknown pulses?
And what could their types, abilities and base stats be?
Do you think we'll eventually somehow get to use them our own? (I mean they're pretty much custom mega-evolutions, so...)
-
Well, I finished Episode 16.
This is my final team:
#1: Feraligatr "Crocey", male
Ability: Sheer Force
Nature: Adamant
Item: Icicle Plate
Moves: Waterfall | Ice Fang | Crunch | Dragon Dance
#2: Arcanine "Growly", female
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Adamant
Item: Charcoal
Moves: Flare Blitz | Close Combat | Crunch | Sunny Day
#3: Gardevoir "Madame Garde", female
Ability: Telepathy
Nature: Timid
Item: TwistedSpoon
Moves: Psychic | Moonblast | Calm Mind | Trick Room
#4: Haxorus "Haxorgon", female
Ability: Mold Breaker
Nature: Jolly
Item: Draco Plate
Moves: Dragon Claw | Outrage | Iron Tail | Dragon Dance
#5: Magnezone "Magtractor", genderless
Ability: Analytic
Nature: Quiet
Item: Metal Coat
Moves: Discharge | Flash Cannon | Metal Sound | Thunder Wave
#6: Venusaur "Venoplant", male
Ability: Chlorophyll
Nature: Modest
Item: Miracle Seed
Moves: Petal Dance | Grass Knot | Synthesis | Sunny Day
(Venusaur will get Toxic and Sludge Bomb, once the TMs are released.)
(Gardevoir will get Hyper Voice and forget Moon Blast, once her Mega-Evolution is obtainable.)
Now I could look at getting the best EV spreads...
And I could think of better items. (Like Life-Orb for Haxorus, though it's not released yet...)
-
Then I'll probably only use trick room when I face a crazy sweeper. (If I can get it off, that is...)
Though my team should be good enough now.
Planned final team:
Feraligatr, Sheer Force, Icicle Plate
Ice Fang, Crunch, Hydro Cannon, Dragon Dance
Arcanine, Intimidate, Char Coal
Crunch, Close Combat, Fire Fang, Flamethrower
Haxorus, Mold Breaker, Draco Plate
Dragon Dance/Swords Dance, Dragon Claw, Outrage, Iron Tail
Venosaur, Chlorophyll, Miracle Seed
Sludge Bomb, Toxic, Petal Dance, Sunny Day
Magnezone, Analytic, none (I don't have a fitting item at the moment)
Discharge, Flash Cannon, Thunder Wave, Metal Sound
Guardevoir, Synchronize, TwistedSpoon
Psychic, Moon Blast, Calm Mind, Trick Room
It may not be perfect but DEFINITELY better than my old team.
-
Okay, I think I have my final team:
Feraligatr
Arcanine
Gardevoir
Venosaur
Haxorus
Magnezone
I'll post the move pools later.
Thanks to Ainz Ooal Gown for the Bulbasaur and Axew.
I'm already soooooo excited for levelling up so many Pokemon...
(For the Magneton/Magnezone: Just PM me)
-
I don't think I need a flying type in my team, so there's one empty slot.
Types already present in my team:
Water, Fire, Psychic, Fairy, Dragon, Poison, Electric, Steel
(Attack types: Water, Fire, Psychic, Fairy, Dragon, Poison, Electric, Steel, Dark, Fighting, Ice)
-
I can trade now.
PM me if you want to trade.
-
Thanks for the offer.
You can send me a PM once you can trade. (Totodile)
I'd love to have a Magnezone on my team, I would've taken Magneton anyway.
I can't trade at the moment, I can trade in ~3+ hours.
(Does someone by chance know the easiest way to get a pokemon with dragon dance pre-luna?
If not I'll just look it up)
Thanks for all the help
-
Okay, Arcanine will probably get one of the elemental fangs, I'm thinking of either fire or thunder fang.
Feraligatr will get agility.
But...
You REALLY make me tempted to actually take the effort and breed one with dragon dance...
But it would take so much time...
First, I have to breed Feraligatr with Ditto until I get a female one.
Then I have to get a male pokemon, that can breed with Feraligatr and knows dragon dance.
The worst part is the time eggs take to breed...
And then I have to level the Totodile up...
-
I already asked myself if HM moves are treated differently xD
So, now I have to think about a new move for Feraligatr and Arcanine (once I get out of that stealth section, that is... I can't find a way out D:)
Edit: I found a hidden room, so I'm no longer stuck
-
That sounds great!
Short question: Where's the guy, that let's you forget moves?
-
Well, thanks for the help.
I'll get Magneton once I levelled up my Gardevoir and Dragalge to a point, where they can actually be used.
Magneton will replace Dusclops.
I already saw the abra, though I prefer Gardevoir over Alakazam, due to Gardevoir being a dual type. (I like dual-types more than mono-types in general)
I actually had toxic spikes on Roserade, but I replaced it with toxic, because I barely used it. (Though it's a great attack...)
It also had Magical Leaf, but I was stupid and forgot about Technician. (It had another ability, I could've used an ability capsule, though...)
But then again, I really don't want to breed for a casual playthrough, well, I don't breed at all, because I don't have the time for making competitive teams...
Oh, and where do you get venoshock? D:
But it really doesn't matter, as I replaced Roserade with Dragalge.
The same thing with breeding applies to Feraligatr. (But I have to admit, dragon dance on Feraligatr sounds sweet...)
The reasson why Arcanine has rock smash is because I don't want to have hm slaves. (And yes, I know it's stupid from a teambuilding side of view)
The reasson I don't have flare blitz on it is that as a Growlithe it was too weak and I really needed the evolution for a hard battle.
Unfezant will be replaced with Braviary, once I have it.
I hope my team is slow enough for a trick room setup. (I don't think it is)
The average base speed of the Pokemon of my final team should be around 80, with Arcanine (95 base) being the fastest and Magnezone (once it evolves) being the slowest (60).
-
Oh, then I'll have to think about something else...
Or I'll use a magneton, if it's not too bad.
-
Magnezone actually isn't THAT far away for me, apparently you can get it once you reach Luna's gym.
I'll use Gardevoir, I already got a fairly decent one. (+speed - sp. def, IVs 28/8/24/25/20/4 (only thing that botrhers me is the 4 on speed, 8 on attack doesn't matter, as gardevoir is a special attacker. My idea for the movepool: Psychic, Moon Blast, Calm Mind, Trick Room)
The fact that Roserade can't really learn good poison moves is my problem, too.
I actually thought of Crobat when speaking of good poison types, I used it on my Pokemon Moon playthrough and it was great.
But also, due to this, I'd prefer something else, as I prefer to have unique teams for every playthrough.
The same thing applies to Nidoking. (Used it in the 1st gen)
So it's Dragalge or Drapion.
Drapion is too fast for a trick room team.
So it's Dragalge.
So my team:
Feraligtr
Meowstic --> Gardevoir
Arcanine
Dusclops --> Magnezone
Roserade -->Dragalge
Unfezant --> Braviary
So, I'll think about movepools and items for Magnezone, Dragalge and Braviary.
(Maybe draco plate for dragalge?)
I wonder if the team is slow enough for a trick room team?
-
Okay, thanks for the help. I'll replace Dusclops (it's my worst pokemon in the team, anyway, it can't beat anything...) Though I really want a pokemon with a type I rarely use in my playthroughs. (Dragon, Ghost, Ice and Steel)
So Magnezone could be an option, though it would involve grinding (and where's its evolution location in this game?)
My Unfezant is my second worst pokemon, so it could be replaced as well. I'll probably replace it with braviary, once I get it.
My Roserade is decent, though it's movepool is not the best (cut and mega drain...)
I'm thinking about a good poison type as a replacement.
I like Meowstic, though it really doesn't do all that much damage for a psychic type.
Though it was my only option for some fights, but that is probably only the case, because my team is overall not the best...
Gardevoir could be an option, but I don't know, when you can get it.
I know, that Ralts is in the corrupted pokeball, but I don't know, when and where you can open it.
Feraligatr and Arcanine will stay, they're doing great.
Edit: I got ralts, though I'll reset until I get one that is at least decent.
Galade would also be an option...
-
So, I've been playing this game for some time now and noticed the high difficulty.
I just beat Radomus, though I needed multiple attempts.
For some battles I had to use unconventional methods, like setting up a pokemon with x-items and using a ton of healing items to stall.
(I had to stall Radomus' Gardevoir until it was out of PP, because it was faster than every pokemon I have and one-hitted everything...)
So, my question is:
What do you think about my team? (Or to be more precise: What would you change?)
(I know that I don't neccesarily have the best pokemon on my team)
(Number, Species, Level, Gender, Nature, Ability, Attacks, Item, EVs/IVs)
Note: I didn't look for good natures, EVs and IVs.
I didn't use any PP ups so far.
I don't have an HM slave and I REALLY don't want to make one.
1: Feraligatr, 56, m, Relaxed, Sheer Force
1. Ice Fang | 2. Crunch | 3. Water Gun (I REALLY need surf xD) | 4. Agility (I never used it, though...)
Icicle Plate
HP: 33/2 | Attack: 123/20 | Defense: 66/3 | Sp. Atk: 57/16 | Sp. Def: 31/23 | Speed: 67/29
2: Meowstic, 56, f, Calm, Competitive
1. Signal Beam | 2. Psychic | 3. Charge Beam | 4. Shadow Ball
TwistedSpoon
HP: 46/29 | Attack: 78/11 | Defense: 41/0 | Sp. Atk: 96/20 | Sp. Def: 35/29 | Speed: 59/10
3: Roserade, 54, m, Mild, Poison Point
1. Mega Drain (I don't know what happened to Giga Drain D:) | 2. Toxic | 3. Cut | 4. Petal Blizzard
Miracle Seed
HP: 18/12 | Attack: 63/23 | Defense: 24/31 | Sp. Atk: 36/8 | Sp. Def: 18/31 | Speed: 40/31
4: Unfezant, 55, f, Serious, Super Luck
1. Feather Dance | 2. Air Slash | 3. Roost | 4. Facade
None
HP: 24/1 | Attack: 79/28 | Defense: 49/12 | Sp. Atk: 55/4 | Sp. Def: 17/29 | Speed: 35/21
5: Arcanine, 55, f, Jolly, Intimidate
1. Crunch | 2. Close Combat | 3. Rock Smash | 4. Flamethrower
Charcoal
HP: 14/4 | Attack: 35/10 | Defense: 22/24 | Sp. Atk: 89/17 | Sp. Def: 20/17 | Speed: 29/19
6: Dusclops, 55, f, Lax, Pressure
1. Strength | 2. Curse | 3. Flash | 4. Shadow Punch
HP: 13/14 | Attack: 47/15 | Defense: 33/12 | Sp. Atk: 31/0 | Sp. Def: 24/21 | Speed: 19/16
(As far as I know you get the reaper cloth on route 2. How long is it going to take until I reach it?)
So, that's my team of flaws xD
When I play through any Pokemon game I never look for good natures, abilities, IVs and EVs, though this game is quite challenging...
I often have no choice but to use x-items, as I often face enemies, who outspeed every single of my Pokemon and one-hit everything...
Any suggestions (that don't involve breeding or excessive grinding)

And also, I somehow broke my game by playtesting it xD
Well, gotta reinstall it...
