  2. When you go in the nightmare world to find Zetta for the " Classified information " sidequest he isn't there, i must say that i beated him in front of the toy box before doing the quest, if that's a thing.

  5. Hi, simple question, because none of the two doors you can found inside the dive spot seems to be opened, and if i recall correctly at the end of the puzzle it says " a door was opened somewhere ", something like that. I killed the kingdra, is it where the door was ? Never payed attention.
  6. You got a point, maybe the 20% on dark isnt irrelevant, but anyways, how did you manage to teach psychic fangs to your stoutland ? Where did you find a pokemon using it to teach it to your smeargle ?
  7. I have a choice of at least 12 pokemon myself and still got a hell of a hard time beating him tbh. You maybe got lucky or had the best mons against him. Maybe, but overriding one type over the other is not a fair deal either, that's my point.

  10. Hi, This will be a long post so bear with me. TL;DR at the end. This is somewhat a rant, but also a critical feedback, and i'll try to stay as objective as possible. Plus i'm not native english, you may see some errors here and there, pardon my french. I need to mention this only apply to normal difficulties because i never tried Insane ( and seeing how much my experience with the champions in this game is overall, i'll never try it, unless i become masochist ). I need to insist on the fact that, even tho i could be playing on easy, i find most of the other champion " Ok " in difficulties, only thoses three are a big problem to me because of how overtuned and unfair they feel. Alright, so, as the title suggest, there is at least 3 champions in this game that made me infuriated while playing because they feel really unfair and overtuned. Unless you got somewhat of a miracle ( rng based ) or the exact setup and team you're screwed against those guys imo, those three are : -Crawli -Angie -Ryland I'll get through each and everyone of them while giving out my thought on why they are so broken. Crawli : Probably the less overtuned of the three, my main complain here come from the drizzle ( and will extend to field with angie ). But first, i must laid out what i'm thinking of the field in general, because the two subject ( overtuned and field ) are closely tied. Fields are in my opinion a good idea, but only when it doesn't reduce and annihilate your OPTIONS, or choice if you want. My main concern with field in general is how they reduce your options as a player, imo, NEVER EVER a game ( for that fact, any game ) should reduce the player's options, field of possibilities, strategies applicable, etc... And some field have that big big flaws where one type of pokemon is utterly destroyed to the ground never to be used in the whole fight, even when they should be super effective. You're then left with less options of supper effective move that you would normally have and thus, reducing your options. I will mention how the buffs given to the champion's type are sometimes overtuned too. Keep in mind this is just my opinion. Quick example that will finally take Crawli's fight for exemple : I choose a fire starter ( sh*ta** typhlosion, yeah ikr ), and brought another fire pokemon for crawli, i like these pokemon for instance and wanted to use them. But, no no no, you won't play fire because the drizzle is here ruining your entire setup, and when you realize that you're set to change some of your pokemon, pex other you never wanted to use just to win this fight. Thus, wasting time while experiencing the great story of this game. Apart from that, Crawli's mostly ok even tho i hate double battles ( but that's not the point ). Angie Now, the same thing for crawli's apply : your fire pokemon are trash in this fight, thus again, limiting your option, thus being extremely unfair, etc... Already said that with Crawli. The real problem here for Angie is how much BUFFS she gets. Her field gives her +50% damage on ice moves ( which is INSANE ), activates move like slush rush which are made available in Hail or Snow Warning for a good reason considering how powerful they are, and make Hail and Snow Warning last for 8 turns. It nullifies some fire pokemon special ability, thus reducing again the interest of bringing a fire type pokemon, plus, it reduces their damage by a whopping 50%, dayum. Let me break down what it means for her ices moves real quick : Assuming you have 200hp and a type that isn't especially weak again ice, if a moves would normally do something like 80 hp on your pokemon, here it would do 120 damage. Here i assume that everyone's know what STAB is, but basically, this means that each and every of the ice moves used under those circumstance are 2x in power, from the regular 1.5x. Unless it's calculated otherwise, but you get the picture : even tho a pokemon isn't weak to the type, it takes an immense amount of damage ( i can't count the number of time my throh got 70% - 0% in one cold truth against her ). And i don't think that the 20% buffs for the dark type is really relevant for most the fight... And i'll do the same for fire type against her : Assuming a move should do 160hp or more considering this is supereffective ( and i'm very generous here because the reality is some of her pokemon wouldn't even take 40% of their total life after a flamethrower ), 50% less damage means the follow : You would deal effectively 80hp with your fire move. Basically nothing for a supereffective moves. To tell the truth, i used a stupid pokemon, which deals no damage, werent even good against her in any way to change the field with flame burst, and that's the only way i could win this fight at all. Ryland For this fight ( which im currently stuck on ), it totally blew my mind when i read the field effect manual. This field gives him a astronomous +50% in SP DEF, considering his team is filled with bulky pokemon who have a high defense stat, this is ... I don't even know, damage dealt on them is so low both on the special plan and the physical plan. This fight have so many thing going on, but i'll try to stay consistent : First, his sig move ; already does all of his pokemon get a straight up 50% in sp def and are bulky, the sig moves remove your STAB by making you a ground type ( thus, reducing your damage ), deals a lot of damage each turn, and prevent you from switching... This removes the possiblity of strategies involving swapping and offensive pivot, and nerf your damage a lot, rendering your attacks on some of his pokemon hit like a wet wipes. His attacks are buffed the same way that angie had, +50%. Water type are getting the nice -50% treatement, rendering them useless ( not against mega camerupt tho ) Priority moves FAIL, removing the possiblity of finishing off a low hp opponent. FINAL WORD In the end, i don't ask for a massive nerf, but it would be cool and less frustrating if things could be a bit more tuned down, for exemple, amber fight's have a +10% damage buff on fire move and water move only deals -10% damage, this is OK for me, it doesn't removes options ; it only make some a bit better than the other. I wan't to add that, everything i cited in my post isn't necessary overtuned by themselves; it's the combination of everything that make those things overtuned and unfair imo. The quick fix i would give for that is reducing down every +50% -50% to +15%~+10% and -15%~~-10%. Hope this was a good post, i'm kinda tired after trying so hard for Ryland, but i tried my best to stay consistent. TL;DR +50% damage on champions type and -50% on supereffectives type against the champions is unfair and overtuned, adding up to the already big buffs the field gives them. Options and Choice should not be cut down, but Oriented.

In the Pyramid, at some point in the puzzle ( when my characters is at bay waiting for the other to catch up ), if i stand on the trigger that says the message to wait for everyone else i can't press A to swap characters, it bugs only for my characters. Another bug, if i don't trigger the message and do something that end up blocking all of my characters, i can't reset position, the game freeze.

EDIT : I downloaded the game fresh again, and it works now, weird, i did goofed around in the PBS for quality of life sake but i would have never deleted something by mistake and the only time i edited the script myself was to debug myself out of a glitch i reported some pages before... Weird. I'll let all the details anyways for reviewing if necessary. EDIT 2 : Ok so i clearly know what's up now : i compiled the game with a PBS that is not updated to V12 apparently, yikes ! On Nastasia's airship, before fighting the two grunts with Aelita, i have an error i forgot to screenshot that tells me STUDENT_3 doesn't exists. I can't advance the story because of it btw. When i go to give a closer look in the script itself i see that : This time the error gives off something really weird, as there is no trace of a function `[]' anywhere in the function... What ? Edit : Ok, so i looked further into the error and noticed this : The function .new is already used somewhere else within the same class but with different attribute, so at first i thought it was overloaded, but then i looked into PokeBattle_Trainer, and the function new is nowhere to be found, i noticed several other instance of .new everywhere in the PokemonField file but it was completely different use, so idk if Pokebattle_Trainer should have his own function .new or if it's inherited from another class, i searched for import but find nothing of the sort in the file. here are the two lines : trainerobject=PokeBattle_Trainer.new(_INTL(trainer[0].name),trainerid) And othertrainer=PokeBattle_Trainer.new($PokemonGlobal.partner[1],$PokemonGlobal.partner[0]) Seeemingly the second one is using global variable, not the first one, that's what i'm trying to figure out rn. Hope it helps fixing the problem. What i tried : - Removing the _INTL function from the first line, since at first glance it's only use is for system message. Didn't work. - Changing the parameters with the global variables, as i thought it wouldn't work since the trainer need to be loaded within the variable trainers, but i gave it a shot out of despair and bruteforce. At each of these try i recompiled the game and got the same error each time. Oh, and Sharlene and Eli battle is not working too, an error i, again, didn't screen.... mb Save : Game.rxdata

  15. The MC get's way more importance later in the game, and some spotlight too, if Jan is trying so hard to bring Melia to the spotlight it's because she's the true MC of the game. Along with 354 other ones like Ren, Aelita, Venam, ................................. Ok just joking, it's mostly about Melia in the end. If you wan't to love the game you should just admit that fact and enjoy her story, it's worth it in the end.

  17. Or at least, i attempted to. I hope this red version isn't what shiny absol was meant to be in the first place cause blue is so hype compared to the red variance ( just my taste ). So yeah, shiny absol back battle sprite was the colors for mega absol, not the one on his front sprite, so i edited the file and here it goes : Left is the original, right is my "corrected" one Took me 1 hours to edit ( still learning spriting ), hope it serves, at least it'll for me :P.
  18. EDIT : i fixed the thing myself by simply removing .unlock from the line, but this is just a band-aid fix. I need to mention that aelita was waiting for me at the front door, so, it doesn't seem that removing the function was preventing the whole event process to function ( not that it would anyways since this very function doesn't seems to exist at all ) Ok so when i'm on route 9 heading towards the House for Aelita's event, the warp make the game crash and prevent me from going forward in the game. Screenshot : Launching the game with rpgmaker playtest make this error appear instead : I did some dig up in the interpreter script and found out that unlock wasn't even declared anywhere, i'm not totally familliar with RGSS coding but this is where the error is.   19. EDIT : FORGET IT, i installed the first patch for V12 ( i didnt noticed there was one lol ) and it's fixed. Ok so i might have another clue about the trainer not using moves on their pokemon. Because now it's my turn : Basically, i use any move on semmingly any of my pokemon, in darchlight wood against wild pokemon and trainer alikes, and i get this error, while my adversary still can attack. Pretty fucked up bug, i might have to skip the battle by cheating in order to progress at this point... I'm letting my save here, in case someones needs it. And the errorlog. Game.rxdata errorlog.txt
  20. Idk if this is a bug or intended, but Erick sig moves seems to never miss, which is weird because according to the wiki, it's just a slightly more accurate version of zap cannon. It makes hims kinda broken tbh.
