Seconding naming this identity "King". Maybe we should give him the self-proclaimed title/nickname "King of the Wastelands"? That would help us avoid confusion if we steal the identity of an actual/"proper" king later.
Rest until night, but see if we can get out of the sun(light) first. Maybe we can use File on the rock to make a small shelter/cubbyhole out of/in it?

Aw man, it's back. If you haven't already, you should check out Shadestyle's other games (note that that was not an exhaustive list).

It didn't help that we're a changeling whose natural form is too horrifying and eldritch to describe properly.

-1. While being predisposed to murder would be nice, it probably wouldn't be as useful as it normally would be due to the whole "redeeming ourselves" thing/goal.

Yeah, he did. I don't know what the hell is going on or where we even start.
"Well, I think I might have an idea on how to find our item-carrying friends..."
Generic super-detective skills, goooooooo (use my skills to find the other item-carriers in an incredibly odd, lucky, leap-of-logic-filled manner)!

"I have this glove, which, to my knowledge, seems to be weightless but still able to fall, invisible to most other people, and mostly unable to affect the physical world. Did you all have a similar dream to mine, which involved a dying creature of some kind named Victory dissolving?"
-
Go work on the case, then. Perhaps I'll find the other figment-users while working on it.
-
Place the tip of the middle finger of the glove under one reasonably heavy object, then place the base of the glove under another. Make sure that the glove is a few centimeters off of the ground, then balance the pencil on the glove-bridge and ask Bob what he sees.
-
Take the glove off and see if I can move physical objects (like, I dunno, a pencil) with it by dangling it by one of its fingers and swinging the glove into them. If so, demonstrate this to Bob and ask what he sees.
-
Head to the police station.
"Bob, I need you guys to analyze this glove; find out what it's made of. It's important."
Wait for the police to analyze my Victory Glove. What is it made of? Can we tell how it was made?
-
Attempt to ascertain the properties of this glove- can I cast spells with it or shoot webs out of my wrists like Spiderman or something?
Are there any remnants of Victory left?
Can I see the other objects if they are picked up by the others? If so, when someone else (invisibly) picks up an object, wave my gloved hand through the area around the object. If I can feel another person, start trying to make contact with them via sign language through my gloved hand. Give them my address and name, if I can.
-
As soon as Victory starts to rise from the incredibly ominous-looking pool (and before it makes its intentions known), reach for my gun- and discover that I am a blur-like creature.
Examine myself. Is my reach the same as normal? Can I create a tail or something for myself?
"Yes... Yes, I can."
Attempt to pass my hand through Victory. Lick any residue that sticks to my arm. Does it taste like victory?
-
Analyze this black void. Is it hard? Soft? Can I damage it or chip a piece of it off in any way?
Then examine the fountain. Taste the liquid- what does it taste like? Did I feel anything change when I drank/tasted the liquid?

-1 to throwing a rock, that might break it or something.
+1 to examining/inspecting the thing before touching it, though.
