  1. "GoG" is just a shortened version of "GodofGaming", which is what my username is.
  2. Hello. After being on this site for enough time I've decided that now is the time to show off my own works in the form of a thread here. Specifically, I work on stories and some drawings, though the later is not as widespread and diverse due to the fact that for the most part, I do not have good ways to transfer a drawing to a digital version. But, ignoring that, I here's what we have. So, stories. While I am working on my own original story, which I don't plan to show off until I think I'm ready to fully write out the story, I am writing two fan fictions. Specifically, two crossovers that I have been pouring a lot of work into making. For someone without much experience in actually writing, I feel like their qualities are rather well. The first is a Blazblue x Fire Emblem Fates crossover called "Fire Emblem Fates: Calamity". This is the one I've been working on for the longest, and the one I have the most plans for currently. I can't exactly describe it all without spoiling story elements I have for it, but essentially, it's Fire Emblem Fates but with a good portion of the Blazblue cast. I have thought of the changes in the story for their appearances, fear not, it's not a full word for word retelling of the Fates story. The second is another Blazblue crossover, but this time with RWBY known as "Blazblue: Constant Remnant". This one is simply with Ragna, getting thrown into the RWBY-verse due to the actions of Yuuki Terumi. This one does not have as much content so far as I haven't gotten as much work done, but I feel like it's good nonetheless. As for pictures... Well, I have a few of them on station. Their not the best, but it is a work in progress. And that's pretty much it for now. If I actually make something new I'll make sure to update this thread. Though that depends if anyone's even interested in what I have to make in the first place.
  3. It seemed as though most of the team being brought together to defend the “Castle” was more or less all being brought together, and the leader, a strike captain named Lexiel, was asking for a brief run down of their capabilities that they could use for combat. Once Liliya finished with hers, Walmond stepped forward, hand vanishing underneath his cloak, “I am Walmond Reigard. I am able to use magic, which specifically comes out as either electricity, or, if the situation calls for it, a way for me to heal multiple people at once. Lambda-” he explained, bringing out a hand to gesture to her, “-You’ll find her better suited to keeping most of our enemies occupied rather than attacking key enemies. That is what she is designed to do.”
  4. "Without a doubt, I could. This will be an interesting little experiment" Walmond commented as Lambda handed the spikes she had collected already to Dackly. However, as she did so, Walmond's attention shifted to what the other machine, LOTUS, was saying. Specifically, about who is going with who, and it seemed that Walmond was staying with the defense of the castle... Which, in all honesty, was completely fine by him, "Hm... It would seem we'll have to continue this for later Dackly. Lambda, lets go" he said, gesturing for Lambda to follow him, which she did, having already passed the spikes to Dackly. To be specific, he was heading over to where the rest of team 4 was gathering. Or at least, seemed to be gathering. This would be relatively simple. The main threat would be the large army surrounding them outside, but all things considered, that was good, because he would get more chances to think to himself.
  5. "... Interesting... Your method seems to work better than mine... Strange how it seems to work that way..." he stated with genuine curiosity on the subject. However, at that time, he had reached the end of the club, having cut a straight line through the surface. Once he had accomplished that, he shook his hand, ridding it of the electric cutter he had made, only to quickly clap both hands together, causing yet more electricity to begin arcing across both hands. Then, he quickly began to open the club up, his gloves at least protecting him from the spikes while the magic surging through his hands began to go into the metal keeping it straight while also helping Walmond open the thing up. Soon enough though, there was a more or less flat sheet of metal in front of Walmond, with the spikes still jutting out of it. Realizing this, Walmond placed his hand back upon the sheet of metal, allowing a good amount of electricity to surge through it and around the spikes... Which soon enough caused them all to fly out of the metal and into the air, where Lambda rather quickly grabbed each spike out of the air, as if on cue, "Sustaining a large soul mass would be a challenge, but it is something I could theoretically do. Though, the first step to creating an appropriate soul type is to actually make a first one" he said, "Though, onto the task at hand, your club has been disassembled, as you can see. Though, I get the feeling that isn't all you were wanting me to do with it."
  6. "I believe I can handle it myself" Walmond stated, gently setting the club on the ground. Then, straightening, he raised his hand, holding his index finger right in front of his face, narrowing his eyes in concentration. After a few seconds, the normal electricity that marked Walmond's magic usage began to form around his hand... Only to quickly travel up his finger and all converge right in the air above his finger, forming a highly concentrated ball of pure electricity. Then, crouching back down, Walmond placed his finger slightly above the club, the electricity beginning to cut it's way into the metal like some form of high precision laser. Slowly but surely, he began to move his finger along the surface of the club, keeping a straight line as he did so, even as he spoke once more to Dackly, "Interesting though. However, the one problem with 'not being good at it' is that the results will almost never be the same. My goal is to create something of human nature, not specifically a servant. While your method may be something I could attempt, as it is something I never thought of, it's too random for my tastes" he stated as he slowly but surely cut through the club, "Though, if more obedient servants are more to what you want, perhaps I could part with some of my own research so you can create your own"
  7. At Dackly's comment, Walmond couldn't help but frown, "... Far from it, I'm afraid. Due to the technological difference between worlds, and knowledge of magic, from what it looks like, I have not yet acquired the means to allow Lambda to speak. If anything, I would prefer her to be more lively than she is now" he stated, shaking his head slightly. However, it would seem that line of thought would be quickly pushed aside when Dackly suddenly pulls out a club, showing it to Walmond. The scientist, in response, looks a bit surprised at the sudden weapon, then with a glint of curiosity in his eyes, takes the club from her hands, inspecting it for himself. It was heavy, for sure, though granted, it was a large club made out of metal, with strange spikes jutting out of it. To him, crude was the best he could say about it. But, as he looked at it, he nodded to himself, "Hm... I could do this... Though it would take a bit of time to separate all of the components from this" he said, looking back at Dackly.
  8. Walmond glances at Lambda, then back at Dackly, shrugging, "Not necessarily a golem, but likely as close as she can be. But yes, I've been working for many years on her and others of her kind" he replied, now fully turned to Dackly, "Considering Gozer had informed me about the fact that you've already visited other worlds before, I'm not surprised that you've learned your own tricks during your travels. I simply focused my learning."
  9. And just like that, his train of thought is interrupted when a snake-woman suddenly speaks up, causing him to blink and then turn to her, noting both the names Gozer and Dackly in her introduction, "Ah, yes, Gozer has actually told me about you already. Walmond Reigard, scientist and inventor, a pleasure to actually speak to you" he said after his initial surprise of being interrupted. Lambda herself had more or less carefully eyed Dackly as the later approached, though when it was clear that she was more or less friendly towards Walmond, she relaxed ever slightly. From an outsider's view, she would've appeared completely the same as she normally was.
  10. Walmond, for the last few minutes, had stood nearly stock still, almost as still that Lambda normally was, deep in thought. Specifically, he was debating to himself the direction he should go after dealing with the troubles that he was apparently supposed to fix in this world. On one hand he had someone willing to assist him finish his production of a cure for Marasmus Laryngea. He did have the notes he had already taken on his previous task, so while it would be likely a bit time consuming, it shouldn't be too difficult. But, on the other, this was the perfect opportunity to finish his other life's work by completing the production of Lambda. He did know of a certain individual who was the product of exactly what he is trying to replicate, and with her help his work could be completed. Both were different path, and both were paths he could accomplish, perhaps before he returned to his own world. The only question was... Which would he start with?
  11. It didn't take long for Walmond to realize that the few that went to the war room had returned, going over to where a girl was briefing the group through some form of machine. He simply listened to what they had learned, quickly realizing that there really wasn't anything he could provide to assist. Mythology and legends seemed to vastly vary from his world to this one, and others, and to top that off he never had a big interest in said mythologies... So him knowing any names of these "Servants" were very much out of the question. … So, Walmond remained quiet, taking in the information as it came. He’d go and hunt down other members of this “party”, but he did not know all of the faces of those who arrived with him, so there would, without a doubt, be several people he would inevitably miss.
  12. Walmond himself found his gaze traveling upwards as the woman he was speaking to exited the shadows, revealing themselves to be a form of hybrid between spiders and humans. A strange combination, but interesting nonetheless. For a few seconds, he watched as she leaned into Lambda’s face, seeming to examine her as the latter simply started back, folding her hands in front of her. Then the spider suddenly pulled back, expression disappointment at Lambda’s lack of a soul, before moving away at Dackly’s call. However, Walmond didn’t reply with words, all he did was watch her move away before looking back at Lambda, who stared back at him. … Truly, he would have to spend some time at the castle to learn more about these people and what they knew. He was sure of it now, these were the sources of information he had been searching for. Alexandria and Gozer had been the two that gave him the idea that he could accomplish his research with their assistance, but the spider’s comment about Lambda lacking a soul was the thing that brought the idea back to his focal goal. Eventually, Walmond began to move again, Lambda following quickly afterwards, specifically searching for a potential library, or something where he could learn the magic of this world. It was a long shot, but something that could give him some more insight on creating a soul was something he was at least interested in checking.
  13. At the question, Walmond turned his head again to Lambda, "Yes, she does have a name, Lambda. And yes, she does always look like this" he replied with a small frown. He had made it so Lambda COULD make other expressions... But until he actually managed to reach the end of his research, he doubted she would actually get the chance to do so.
  14. Walmond didn't exactly get the term that she had used... But considering she seemed like yet another one of these 'travelers', it would explain the strange term, "You would be correct, I arrived mere minutes before this current group was thrown out of 'the castle'" Walmond replied, "My name is Walmond Reigard, scientist and inventor" he stated. As he introduced himself, he had a sudden thought pass through his head. Perhaps he should add cross-dimensional traveler to his standard introduction...
  15. Instantly, the voice speaking to him from said darkness, along with a gold line and a pair of eyes staring at him, caused Walmond to stop, with Lambda doing so as well not a second afterwards. After hearing the warning, Walmond simply turned his head slightly to his machine, "Lambda" was the only word he had to say, as the latter's blades instantly vanished back into her arms. With that out of the way, he turned back to the two eyes, face as calm as ever, “While I feel that this is a needless thing to say, I am not here to threaten you, or anything of the sort. In fact, I was simply curious as to what was over here” he stated. Somehow, he got the feeling that he was facing a being that could easily kill him if they felt like it, even with Lambda protecting him. But, that feeling didn’t override his curiosity.
  16. Walmond himself listened intently at Friedhold's response, raising an eyebrow at the mention of Adam, what it did, and specifically seeming to use it to create electricity around his fingers... Much like he did with regular magic. Though, his own wasn't capable of curing and creating disease like Adam was capable of, "Fascinating, I'll remember your offer for later" he replied, following Friedhold's gaze to the BBQ, "It was nice to speak with another scientist" he added before turning away from Friedhold, walking off to let the other go and get his refreshments. Lambda lingered for a second, staring at Friedhold before turning herself, floating after Walmond. So far, everyone he had met was... Interesting. Gozer and Friedhold, so far, were the two he preferred to speak to, mostly due both being more in his element. Dackly, despite not exactly having much real discussion with each other, didn't... Seem that way. Liliya and Samantha seemed in between, more or less. But, there were other things that he could get done in this fort. Perhaps take a look around the history of this place, or perhaps simple magic that they used… Or, investigate that large shape in the shadows that Walmond happened to notice out of the corner of his eye. Upon noticing that shape, Walmond paused in his steps, then turned, beginning to walk towards it, curious about what it was. Lambda followed close to his side, the sliding of metal upon metal audible as the sabers in her arms slid out.
  17. It was a good thing that Friedhold waited for Walmond's response, because he actually paused for a few good seconds, originally deciding if he should part with the more private information and eventually to find the right words, "A disease known as 'Marasmus Laryngea'. A very deadly disease that rapidly reproduces outside of the human body in both water, air, and food, along with being capable of killing in mere hours, sometimes even less than one, by clogging entries and exits to the heart, lungs, and brain. However, the catch was that the disease was very weak itself, being easily found and killed by the body's defense" Walmond explained, closing his eyes as he spoke, "However, a colleague of mine managed to find some startling news that he brought to my attention. Specifically, that the disease was beginning to adapt and strengthen, getting further into the body before being terminated. Because of it's natural reproduction, and ease of getting into the body, if no one made any precautions towards a potential outbreak of this, the entire human race would be dead in less than a week" he stated, shaking his head, "That colleague died not two days afterwards, for reasons I was unable to find out. Since I was the only one who actually believed in his last living findings, officials that I spook to didn't seem to believe in what a mechanics scientist was saying, I decided to take matters into my own hands and begin developing a cure" he finished. After a second, he opened his eyes with a frown, "... Due to the fact that it has taken me a year to develop that cure, it hasn't been easy."
  18. "Specifically, combining magic and machinery to create human-like creations, both in appearance and soul" Walmond replied, gesturing to Lambda, "Lambda is currently the most advanced prototype I have, as I made her to be easily upgradable once I make new discoveries" he added, hand falling back underneath his cloak. After a little pause, he spoke again, this time with a small shake of his head, "Though, for the last year my focus had been switched to medicine, but now I can return to my original field of work."
  19. Before Walmond could reply to Gozer's statement, mostly interest in attempting this alchemy himself in his own time, when another man came up and introduced himself as Friedhold... Which began a rather large tangent from Dackly, specifically about something called ADAM. Walmond split his attention by half here, one part listening to what Dackly and Gozer were talking about, and half examining the man. Judging by the lab coat he wore, he was anothe scientist (which, honestly, was a nice sight to see), but everything else about him seemed disorganized. Blood staining both the clothing he wore underneath the lab coat, and on the coat itself, and even his face held signs of combat, with a few burns and scars scattered across. It was a very strange combination for Walmond to see, but considering everything so far, it was acceptable. Once Dackly had finally finished speaking, Walmond stepped forward, "Forgive my interruption here, but considering the fact that I have only been here for less than an hour, you having not seen me yet is to be expected," he stated, stretching out a hand, "Walmond Reigard, scientist and inventor."
  20. "Interesting... The art of alchemy has been one that I've never truly grasped myself, but it's an art that never ceases to amaze me" Walmond stated with a shrug, staring directly at the crackpot now, "This rune, it is possible to replicate it, correct?"
  21. Well, it seemed that once more, Walmond was alone. With both Liliya and Samantha having left, Walmond simply watched the courtyard, taking in the sights. Several people speaking together, some of which he had seen earlier in the previous fights, and others he did not recognize. Of course... The one thing he noticed after a while was the duo that had driven the stone vehicle earlier. Gozer and Dackly... And a large crackpot that the later was using. That was enough to gather his attention, causing him to begin walking over with newfound interest. "It's been a while since I've seen anyone using a simple pot for anything aside from cooking" Walmond said to the two as he approached, "Judging by what you threw in there, I'd take a guess that you would be using a form of alchemy?"
  22. "Walmond Reigard, scientist and inventor" Walmond replied, reaching out himself and shaking Liliya's hand. Then he let go, gesturing to Lambda, "And this is Lambda, an artificial human made by me, before I was brought here, at least" He added. As soon as he said that though, he couldn't help but turn to Samantha, "... I feel like it is not my place to ask, but what do you mean by 'rule 63 Malcolm Reynolds'?" he asked, pure curiousity getting the better of him there. He could make the assumption that Malcolm Reynolds was someone from Samantha's world, like he had used Samantha calling the woman he was originally speaking to Liliya to figure out her name, but he did not exactly understand what she was meaning with 'rule 63'.
  23. Eventually, Walmond got tired of waiting around and simply watching events play out from the sidelines. He would be working with these people, and developing a reputation of being just an observer and not speaking to anyone unless specifically spoken to would not be a good thing to happen later down the road. Instead, he actually had to take some initiative. With that in mind, Walmond suddenly began walking forward, Lambda following after him not a second later. There WAS one person he was interested in learning, specifically, a woman who he had seen taking on the skeletons with nothing but a knife, the same person he had decided to assist in that regard, "I noticed you're a part of these travelers as well, given that you seem to already know Dackly and Gozer" Walmond said when he approached her, stopping a fair distance away.
  24. Walmond had shown a bit of interest at the sudden charge from the castle to carve a way through so that they could enter, his lightning storm offensive stopping for a brief moment, only to stay again as a small bit of cover as the stone truck rolled into the castle. Only a few stray bolts of electricity managed to slip past through the gate before it slammed shut, with the scientist shaking his hand to get rid of some of the crackling electricity left over, stepping off the truck just as it crumbled into simple stone and ash. His interest quickly shifted from the truck's remains to the small discussion/argument brewing with the woman, seeming to be the leader of the castle's forces, and several of his allies that he did not know the name to. However, when it became clear that the woman was looking for more militaristic figures, he decided to leave the task of speaking with that woman to more capable hands. He was a scientist, not a general or politician. So, instead of sticking around with those specific people, Walmond headed to the courtyard to wait and, potentially, at least get the names of some of his other allies. Lambda herself floated next to Walmond, silent as ever. When he did get to that courtyard, the first thing he noticed was Dackly... Interrogating whoever was inside her club. A strange sight, to be honest, but something he wasn't too keen at approaching at the current moment. Mostly because, along with interrogating, Dackly and Gozer seemed to be speaking with two other people, the woman he had assisted in one of the first battles in this world by electrifying her knife, and a man in a white jumpsuit, by the looks of it, and walking in on a conversation was something that never crossed his mind at any point in his life. Not even now. So, instead of going over to those five, including the interrogatee, Walmond watched from a difference, his gaze periodically shifting from the interrogation to the castle around him.
  25. Walmond had been basically creating a lightning storm with the amount of electricity he was throwing out. It was probably the best he could do, trying to shoot out enemy projectiles out of the sky, and so far he had been doing good. Sure, he had been forced to side step several arrows, but it wasn't the hardest- Suddenly, Lambda had moved in front of Walmond, slashing upwards and cutting upwards with her sabers, catching a single arrow and splitting it almost evenly down the middle, the two halves flying in opposite directions, both barely missing Walmond's head. With her master more or less safe now, she went back to doing what she was doing before... Specifically, grabbing any skeletons and then throwing them off the side of the edge, either taking the time to crush them between her clawed fingers or just skipping to the throwing part. After a split second of appreciation for his creation and it's successful attempts at negating a headshot on him, Walmond turned and went back into blasting the sky with electricity.
