  1. Suicide Accelgor (F) @ Focus Sash Trait: Unburden EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Final Gambit - Bug Buzz - Focus Blast - Spikes this set is to see your opponents weather lead and destroy it. Mainly to set up your own weather without counter. with max hp equaling 364, it beats out any Politoed or ninetales you encounter. it can also take out most offensive tyraintars as long as they don't have many evs in health. no if you encounter a non weather lead, you can choose to still final gambit, or you can set up at least two turns of spikes thanks to focus sash. The other two moves bug buzz and focus blast just hit some things hard. Mostly there for fillers.

Ive got water ptretty much covered. the only things that can cause a problem with and water is swift swim or scarf. in the case of a scarf, the pokemon would have to choose between ice beam and said water move. once they say use hydro pump on my chandy, dknight comes in and starts to set up, or manectric comes in and volt switches out.
  3. trainer name: Conor class: Old man start: My friends and I have traveled the world together. do you really think you can break that bond? finish: well that was the most fun i have had in years team: Alakazam, Magmotar, Steelix, Glalie. * If at all possible, i think it would be so cool and make my life if this guy got to be on a patch of grass somewhere right before victory road. MAKE MY LIFE!

okay good call with rapid spin on foretress, but i was also thinking about subbing out Manectric for Chandelure. this would block rapid spins. if i did, it would be a revenge kill scarf set which would like Chandelure (F) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Shadow Tag EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - HP [ice] - Energy Ball - Shadow Ball - Overheat i feel he would fill the team well in Manectric's shoes. also the shadow tag, fire attack combo is perfect for destroying ferro and foretress.
  5. Okay the main point for this team is to set up some hazards and deploy multiple sweeping Pokemon in the mix to take down your opponent. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated and i apologize for any grammar mistakes i might make during this RMT. Forretress (M) @ Custap Berry Trait: Sturdy EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd) - Stealth Rock - Spikes - Toxic Spikes - Explosion pretty simple, set up rocks/ spikes. when your sturdy activates or you get to low hp you can explode out with custap berry to cause some damage. sets up the team to sweep without focus sash being a problem. Volcarona (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Flame Body EVs: 4 SAtk / 252 SDef / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Quiver Dance - Fiery Dance - Bug Buzz - Hidden Power [Grass] alright this guy is one of the two set up sweepers i have. He is the special attacker of the two. comes in, sets up, and sweeps. Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Multiscale EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Dragon Dance - ExtremeSpeed - Dragon Claw - Fire Punch This guy is the physical attacker of my set up duo. he sets up and starts a physical sweep. He has priority which helps a lot. Fire punch to hit steels and dragon claw for stab. Just a side note at this point, the sets on these Pokemon are nothing special, its the combination that makes the team work well. Haxorus (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Mold Breaker EVs: 4 SDef / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Earthquake - Outrage - Rock Slide - Night Slash Haxorus is a late game sweeper that can come in and cause some serious damage with his huge attack stat and his now huge speed stat thanks to the scarf. Mold breaker lets earthquake hit everything that would be normally be immune except for balloon, but realistically mist ballons are broken by the time i send in Haxorus. Manectric (F) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Lightningrod EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Thunder - Volt Switch - Flamethrower - Hidden Power [ice] Manectric is a special sweeper, usually to counter rain. his thunder is the main point in the rain counter. volt switch is amazing for scouting. for what electric types cant hit in ground type we have hidden power ice. And finally for those pesky steel types we have flamethrower. Hitmonlee (M) @ Normal Gem Trait: Unburden EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Fake Out - Blaze Kick - Hi Jump Kick - Stone Edge lastly we have Hitmonlee. His set is to get super speed and pick your poison. fake out activates normal gem which gives the move a boost in itself. also, this activates the ability unburden which bring his speed up to something like 547 i think. anyways with the damage Pokemon are taking from the rocks, all these moves should be kill shots on non walls Okay this team is just a random team i made one day and actually turned out good. its right now at a winning percentage of a little under 75%. my main problems are sand (especially skarmory). another problem i have is Chandelure and its dam shadow tag. if you could help with these problems and more it would be highly appreciated.
  6. your right about my ice weakness to a point, for the most part i block ice with ferrothorn or politoed. its a little bug in the team but definitly one that i can work with. and thanks guys this team got a whole lot better too
  7. Hey ive been looking all morning for a useable version of the software and havent been able to collect any. could yuo post a link to where you got or put the file on fileshare.
  8. hokay edit: you ninja'd me by like 1/2 a sec
  9. I've only mapped with ROM hacking on other hacks, but i can download the RMXP software and have a visual example of just a small scene for you by the end of the night tomorrow. even though I've never used the software i cant imagine it would be that different, but if i do encounter any problems ill go to youtube and watch a tutorial or just bring it up with you. Also another thing i just realized when i was reading your reply was how is this game going to look. is it going to be a completely futuristic over world of huge skyscrapers? I guess the question is do you have any examples of how you might want to see the game looking. i see Reborn looking like the example i just described but that would be a lot of work and precise detail
  10. what system are you using to make the game, is this going to be a rom based hack or are you going with the pokemon raptor sort of thing. either way i like to and am good at mapping. cuz im creative. if you want i can post some pictures of examples to prove it, but if you need the help im here
  11. id totally be an infernape because i could beat ass and breath fire at the same time. or i could also be a garchomp because he is 6'3 200 pounds just like me (:
  12. Has anyone every ranted about how much they hate it when people com[plain when your using sand and that on your sand team you happen to be using an excadrill. First off, seriously if there is a pokemon that is really good when used in combination with something else, why would i not use that combo. for the sake of originality? ewwwwwwww, i think not. Secondly, Excadrill are not that hard to beat, most priority mach punch can handle it. and also if you dont have a wall on your team its your fault not mine you cant stop my excadrill. seriously, QUIT YOUR COMPLAINING!
  13. oh for serp, i always have run the def ev split just for extra bulk. it usally comes in handy because ive noticed that more thatn 50% of the time it buys me another turn without dying. also @swimming, your right i dont have any sp def bulk at all. do you have any suggestions on pokemon i could run or even evs i could adjust on certain pokemon i already have. and also i do like the idea of bulk up on toxicroak, it could actually lead to me playing around with his evs a bit too. and finally what would you think about surf on dknight instead of focus blast. surf gets the power boost from rain and can handle most stell types.
  14. Last week i posted an RMT on my sand team now in an opposite way i'm trying to do the same with my rain team. again just give me some thoughts. oh and also, like i do everywhere i apologize for my awful grammar. Oh and quick grammar question. would it be "an" RMT or "a" RMT. i know basic grammar states it would be "a" but "an" sounds so right. anyways... Politoed (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Drizzle EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Focus Blast - Psychic - Hydro Pump - Ice Beam my weather starter. really just blasts leads that aren't a threat. if not i switch him out to ferrothorn mostly to keep my weather always handy in case of a weather war. Ferrothorn (M) @ Rocky Helmet Trait: Iron Barbs EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Leech Seed - Stealth Rock - Thunder Wave - Power Whip great counter to most things, especially physical attacks. most of the time they'll switch out and ill use thunder wave to destroy there speed. the rest ya know set up rocks and leech seed stuff. Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Multiscale EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Agility - Hurricane - Thunder - Focus Blast okay this guy is one of my main sweepers. ill send him out and get in the agility to boost his speed to 518 i believe. this is tremendous because two of his moves left are boosted by rain and the final focus blast is for those ferrothorns or tyraintars that you didn't realize were there that switch in. happens more than you think with the tyraintars . Toxicroak (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Dry Skin EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Brick Break - Sucker Punch - Protect dry skin gives toxicroak double recovery when paired with leftovers. this is why we have protect which will give him back approximately 1/5 of his health back. pretty much a monster once he gets a swords dance in. can brick break any thing like steel, rock, or yea. ALso with the right prediction skills sucker punch is boss, and i have amazing prediction skills. not even trying to tute my own horn but i do. Zapdos @ Leftovers Trait: Lightningrod EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Thunder - Substitute - Roost - Hidden Power [ice] pretty simple, switch into electric attacks that try to destroy my politoed. gets the boost that i sub while they switch their electric pokemon out. from there i recover with leftovers and use my sp attk boost to sweep with my choice of hp ice or thunder. Serperior (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Contrary EVs: 128 Def / 128 SDef / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Leaf Storm - Hidden Power [ice] - Giga Drain - Taunt okay final sweeper. this guy just uses leaf storm at full blast to boost its stats with contrary. then giga drain for recovery an din case that leaf storm runs out. also hidden power ice just for those dragons. taunt is for ferrothorns. i also like serp in rain because it big weakness of fire is resisted because of the rain. okay rate my team i guess and give me some tips i can put into this team. they were really good on my sand post and they helped a lot so just keep up with the good work.
  15. [img]http://www.dragonflycave.com/wpay/houndoom.gif[/img] i mean i do loooooooove fire so it fits
  16. um actually on ambipom i prefer a set using: fake out, low sweep, double hit, and payback. fake out cuz pro, low sweep for ttars and steels, payback can take out a gengar if it has life orb and max speed, and double hit for stab. its the one i use and its usually a main function of my team
  17. I personally love Bug and fire types. i can win at a rate of about 80% on the beta's find battle with either mono type. and as you can probably tell by my love of the two types, volcarona is my third favorite pokemon [img]http://sprites.pokecheck.org/i/637.gif[/img]<3
  18. okay so i definitely like that idea for some great coverage. i also see how jellicent would fill in for Quagsire. the only problem is that i wouldn't know how to squeeze in ferrothorn. this team is mostly sweep and come in with revenge kill. it would completely throw off the synergy and basis for the team. So i guess my question to you Erick is, where would you put ferrothorn. secondly rapid spin on excadrill... would that work...???
  19. Okay before i start, i would just like to say that i have horrible grammar. please don't yell ): This is just a team ive been using and its been doing pretty good on the ladder about 80 % wins. tell me any suggestions or what you think. Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Sand Stream EVs: 252 HP / 80 Atk / 100 SAtk / 76 Spd Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Focus Punch - Fire Blast - Substitute - Crunch Just your standard Tenshi-Boah set that i always use. leads, sets up sand... yeah. Quagsire (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Water Absorb EVs: 92 HP / 172 Def / 244 SDef Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Stockpile - Recover - Toxic - Waterfall Okay my wall for any fire, fighting, water types. sets up toxic and late game can get a toxic stall going. I've been thinking of switching him out for Gastradon, if you think this is a good idea could you post a nice Gastradon set? Excadrill (F) @ Air Balloon Trait: Sand Rush EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - X-Scissor - Rock Slide - Earthquake - Swords Dance classic sand sweeper, pretty much one of the core members of the team i need to pull of the win. Serperior (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Contrary EVs: 128 Def / 128 SDef / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Leaf Storm - Giga Drain - Hidden Power [ice] - Taunt the rain counter mostly, switch onto a Vaporeon and let the contrary do the work. I kind of get walled by ferrothorn but i can taunt it which is always nice and send in ttar for moar sand. Garchomp (M) @ BrightPowder Trait: Sand Veil EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Fire Fang - Earthquake - Dragon Claw another sweeper. he is a total troll because of the double evasion. another sweeper who happens to come in handy quite often. Chandelure (F) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Shadow Tag EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Heat Wave - Energy Ball - Shadow Ball - Overheat revenge killer. Scarfed and ready to handle any situation by trapping the opponent with shadow tag. Okay so as you can see nothing too tricky at all, just a straightforward team. I'm looking to do whatever i can do to just to raise its power any amount. to be honest it might be fine as it is i might just be lacking a few skills myself. let me know (: p.s. if someone wants to tell me how to make a spoiler, i would be appreciate so i can add the export
  20. Conor

    Crobat

oh my bad i meant to put taunt next to giga drain actually. thanks tenshi
  21. Conor

    Crobat

specially quick Crobat (F) @ Focus Sash Trait: Inner Focus EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Air Slash - Nasty Plot - Heat Wave - Giga Drain / Taunt nasty plot for sweeping, taunt to stop set ups, your choice. flying doesn't hit steel or rock to hard so for steel there's heat wave for steel and Giga drain for rocks. *so i coming back to just make a side comment, i made this set just off the top of my head. it is destroying on the ladder right now. highly recommend this as a sweep lead
  22. Okay Phazer, first off i wish i could sprite, but i don't have any idea how to. secondly, i usually apologize in advance for my bad grammer. i cant spell or string together proper sentences to save my life. and also i promise you i used spell check, just dosent help. and ill add import. another thing tho is, ive seen you do this on a number of posts, i did this the way i want so if your not going to offer advice, and i say this with the upmost respect, please just dont complain. also Tenshi, do you have any advice on pokemon to add or take out to maybe put up a better weather defense? Also, tenshi wouldn't double hit actually be better from the technician ability.
  23. actually inuki i prefer payback in most situations because i prefer to preserve ambipom rather then let him die. so if hes last beat up is useless. and THanks Aero i usually do i just derped
  24. Okay so my last one of these was a bust so hopefully this goes better. Any who, this team is based around my favorite Pokemon, Ambipom. It is mainly a team involving switching in out to resist attacks then deal one right back with speed or power. I'll mention a few concerns i have myself for this team at the end, and I would also really appreciate any advice you have to offer me. Ambipom (F) @ Life Orb Trait: Technician EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Fake Out - Double Hit - Payback - Low Sweep okay so this set rocks my socks off for two main reasons. first, i thoroughly enjoy a good fake out lead. second because of all the lolz i get using him. usually ill have a fake out first turn, unless of course a steel type. which of course if there was a steal i would switch. but id say every third person someone will switch into some sot of ghost. the best part of this is payback, which no one runs on Ambipom like at all. it can OHKO the standard Gengar with ease because of his speed / technician. low sweep is mainly there to deal with ttar which happen to appear quite often on our ladder. double hit is for double stab. Gengar (F) @ Choice Specs Trait: Levitate EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Psychic - Shadow Ball - Focus Blast - Thunderbolt We all know every normal types main weakness right? well if you don't know its fighting. simple fix, just switch into specs gengar and get the no effect. then you have psychic to hit hard on the fighting, although they probably will end up switch themselves. mainly here just to protect the rest of the team and get a hit in here and there. Heatran (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Flash Fire EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Overheat - Hidden Power [Grass] - Earth Power - Dragon Pulse so to protect my Gengar from its 3 weakness, ghost/ psychic/ and dark i have Ambipom and Heatran. if you end up facing another ghost, just switch back to Ambipom. if not and you face the other two there's always Heatran's steel typing which happens to be resistant to both dark and psychic. letting you pull of an attack in response . Mainly i use overheat because the MOAR POWER THE BETTER... but yea. Starmie @ Life Orb Trait: Illuminate EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Rapid Spin - Thunderbolt - Hydro Pump - Psychic okay so the weakness' of Heatran are: fighting, ground, and water. to cover these we have Starmie and Gengar. Starmie can pretty much take a hit from all three but i prefer no damage to Gengar then only a little to Starmie. the reason i chose Starmie as to a bulky water absorb Pokemon, was because of rapid spin. with me constantly switching in and out, rocks could be my downfall. then again not having a toxic wall could be my downfall as well. Manectric (F) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Lightningrod EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Volt Switch - Thunder - Flamethrower - Hidden Power [ice] to deal with the weakness' of Starmie which are: grass, ghost, dark, and electric we have Heatran for grass, Ambipom for ghost, Heatran for dark, and Manectric for electric. i chose Manectric mostly for its lightning rod. it absorbs the power of those electric attacks and adds them onto her own. then with the choice set you can volt switch out just to keep inflicting small swift hits. or you can go for type advantages with your flamethrower and hidden power ice. she is also the rain counter with thunder. the main reason i chose Manectric instead of Jolteon was for flamethrower. again another "iffy' decision. oh and Manectric's only weakness being ground it is covered by Gengar. Scizor (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Technician EVs: 96 HP / 160 Atk / 252 SDef Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Bullet Punch - Bug Bite - Swords Dance - Roost okay so finally to wrap the team up with some priority and pure power is Scizor. i picked Scizor her because i said to myself Holy Toledo, these are special attackers walled by any Chansey or Blissey. so why not go for some raw power. and Scizor is pretty much raw power. i got this set from n8 as a Sp def Scizor that can recover and strike again. Main Concerns i need more Attack so i can cover all those Sp defensively walls. i might need a wall myself to toxic stall out in certain situations. i'm not sure but i think i might be pretty weak to weather. i was thinking about perhaps switching Scizor for a nice tech Breloom set. thoughts? *okay so if you can help me out with those concerns and any you have it would be much appreciated.
  25. I absolutely hate mini modding. i called mashew a loser over main chat because we call each other that. i had 6 different people, i kid you not, say that is rude please don't disrespect the auth like that. probably the most annoying thing ever. I don't think I've ever disagreed with something more...
