  1. Althea rushes forward, pushing past Ragash, hope twinkling in her eyes. Turning the corner she sees a strange sight, taking up the north wall of this chamber is a moving picture of a strange land, the edges sparking with blue magic. The land before you is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. A wide plain of gray-green grass and stunted black trees spreads beneath a sky scoured by fast-moving clouds. The sun is bright above but somehow doesn’t cut the darkness that drapes every rock and every blade of grass in gray gloom. A wide and well-traveled road runs in a curving line to away from you. There, perhaps a quarter-mile away, a military camp spreads. Buildings are scattered here and there, with tents and pavilions spreading between them. Torches and fires burn brightly against the ever-present shadow, and lone trees and tall stands of gray-green grass are whipped by a hissing wind. Looming above it all, a rise of black rock to the west is rent by a seething volcanic rift. Black-streaked lava courses from it to descend into a narrow channel, and a permanent pall of glowing red-black smoke rises above it. Over this molten flow, a great stone bridge is arched. Past the bridge, a tall tower stands, covering parts of the camp in its shadow. Two more doors branch off from this room to the East and West.
  2. Not able to find any traps you open the door, it is then you find out that these doors are nearly soundproof since as soon as you open it an inch you can hear a quite loud crackling from the other side. Ahead is an immediate right turn towards the crackling sound, a soft blue light emanates from that direction.
  3. The brazier in the South West corner is still burning, but quiet weakly, and there is some roasted fish on the rack that has gone cold, suggesting this room was last used a few hours ago.Tossing through the bedrolls with the end of javelin unleashes a putrid smell as if they have never been washed, causing you to cover your mouth and nose in disgust. There are a couple of trinkets made of feathers, bone, and hide, but nothing of any value catches your eye.
  4. The group heads upstairs with two civilians in tow, entering the west door from the entry chamber you find a short corridor the turns to the north moving forward, you see a brightly lit L-shaped room that has doors in the north and west walls. Around the periphery of the room are dirty bedrolls, sacks, and an empty roasting rack near the brazier. A narrow fissure in the ceiling carries the smoke from the brazier away.
  5. From the list of unobtainable and limited pokemon from e16 what new additions do you think we will see? What sun and moon non-legendary pokemon do you think will be left for a later episode? Im hoping fletchling will show up now that Gale Wings was toned down. I would not be suprised if mimkyu was held off until later, but I'm hoping not
  6. To Ragash @rustytengo Walking over to the other shaft it looks the same at the other corner, though the cracks are in different places it looks to be about an equally difficult climb.
  7. "No I don't, they took me here first thing. But I did see the little boy a few hours ago, they dragged him here and threatened to cut his throat if I didn't stop chanting my magic mumbo jumbo." replies Zerriksa while handing you back your noticeably lighter water skin.
  8. Putting your hand in a larger crack in the wall you start to move up the wall steadily, however just before the rope there is a large gap between the hand holds, you push yourself off and leap for the other but miss by a few inches. You fall 15ft but the mushrooms cushion your fall leaving you lying safely on the ground.
  9. With a flick of Yisan's fingers the candles each flicker out, Zerriksa test her hands against where the barrier used to be, smiles a nearly toothless grin and steps outside of the runes. "Well that was easy for you. Scared those goblins into thinking I would turn em into toads so they wouldn't hurt me. Kind of backfired when they locked me in there." Her tongue flicks out a couple of times like a snake tasting the air. "Wouldn't happen to be able to spare a sip of water would you."
  10. To Maris @DragonRage Pushing into the pile of mushrooms, and looking up the shaft you can also see a rope dangling 20ft off the floor in the shaft. To Yisan @Jace Stormkirk You aren't able to discern anything about the symbol around the crone, and the book has been heavily worn by time leaving it mostly unreadable, but it seems to have something to do with the burial ritual you saw earlier.
  11. To Ragash The mushrooms are not able to support any weight, However you manage to push your way into them slightly so you can peer up the shaft, about 20ft off the ground in the darkness you are able to see a rope dangling that leads another 20 ft towards the top of the shaft. There seems to be a passage at the apex.
  12. The Crone sheilds her eyes while they adjust to the bright torch light. She nods in affirmation.
  13. Opening the door to the adjoining room, you hear can hear a very quiet crackling noise. Inside you see and old crone standing inside a magic rune that is carved in the floor, three points of the rune candles burn with a blue flame. In the corner of the room is an open book with two burnt out candles next to it. An elderly woman's voice says "Hello... who's there?"
  14. To Ragash Turning around the corner the corner you watch as a drop of water drips from the shaft above hitting the pile of mushrooms ahead of you, over time they have slowly expanded and started to climb the wall of the ruin closest to you. To Yisan You don't think the star is of any arcane significance, but the runes contained within remind of those used in religious burial rituals. You roughly translate the meaning of a few of the runes as; Protection from Necromancy, Eternal Rest, Peaceful Slumber and Safe Passage.
  15. Moving into the ruins ahead, Ragash the ruins seem to be clear of any enemies. The only recognizable features are; the four corner walls one of which is covered in mushrooms, two collapsed staircases that used to lead downwards, and the ruins of an altar resting within a star on the floor made of different color stone. A set of doors lay towards the East, and another shaft leading upwards lays above the large pile of mushrooms in the northwest.
  16. The firelight plays on the walls. Stepping inside you get a better view of the ruin in front of you. Only the four corner walls remain standing. One path leads into the ruins and two lead around the outsides.
  17. No change in temperature but perhaps a little bit more humid.
  18. Moving past Maris and Yautja and looking into the room, most of your sight is obscured by the strange ruins in front of you. Broken pillars lead up the the broken walls. To the west you see a large pile of mushrooms, above which is a shaft in the ceiling.
  19. @Jace Stormkirk From a distance, the mushrooms you can make out are of a common edible varieties usually found in forests. Your not sure about the moss.
  20. Glancing above the door you now see the words "Rivenroar Family Crypt" carved above the doorway. Pushing open the door, you find a dark room that has a wet, musty smell. It is filled with all sorts of architectural debris. Amid the ruins are all sorts of mushrooms, mostly with brown or gray caps. A brown moss fills the cracks of some of the ruined walls.
  21. @DragonRage The door doesn't seem to be trapped or locked, placing your ear against the door frame, you can't seem to hear anything.
  22. Opening the door to the North reveals a set of stairs that descends 40ft to a landing and set of double doors.
  23. "Nasty buggers them drakes." he says sadly while rubbing his legs. "Yeah, they dragged Zerriksa through the Northern doors in the entry chamber as soon as we got here. Sertanian was kept in the prison cells with me to the West before they dragged me to the drakes."
  24. Althea head hung low arrives back in the entry hallway, blood dripping from, her fingertips. Leaving the group with two new doors. Adronsius asks "Where is that raven knight?"
