That seems to be just a dialogue error, which I imagine will be corrected (or maybe it has already, depending on if you patched your game).  Erin will stop you from telling that women anything regardless.

Yeah, I have the patched version. Ah, thanks anyway. Looks like I'll have to wait just a little longer to see if this path really is more worth it than the one with Flora. After all, what comes with a password is usually a lot of useful info.

  2. Spoiler

I thought this would finally be my chance to figure out what that password you learn of when you go with Erin in Darchlight Cave (Alpha), but nope. When you try and tell Cassandra the secrets you learn, she says, "I see. You and Flora searched a room together and didn't find anything?" I was so disappointed because I did find something and it was with Erin. I was hoping I could tell her and she'd input it on the computer somehow. Damn, I'm so sad.

I'm just wondering if this will be fixed so I don't save after the event.

  3. ...And a couple of shiny lv. 7 pokemon were the main stars of this showdown.

(In case you guys don't remember or haven't seen her, she's the trainer with the lv. 93 Alakazam. This took a lot of tries and experimenting to achieve. Obviously.)

So starting off, I found out quickly that she had two Full Restores. The first thing I did is set up two layers of Toxic Spikes with Hefty, my trusty shiny Trubbish, while her Abra was out. The next thing i did was nudge her into using her Full Restores before sending out her powerhouses (I brought Abra down to its Focus Sash to burn up the first and then I used Poison Gas with Hefty and chipped her down to burn her second one).

So I sent out my shiny A. Rattata next against her Kadabra. I knew she had Energy Ball thanks to past experience, so I send out Jangmo-o to see if it could tank the hit. It turns out he had Bulletproof meaning he absorbed the Energy Ball completely! So basically, I switch between Rattata (this works even if she switches up her strategy and uses Shadow Ball, since A. Rattata absorbs that, too) and Jangmo-o, occasionally using protect in case she catches on to my tricks. The only thing that worried me was that Alakazam would have Magic Guard. Thank goodness it didn't and I pretty much cheesed my way too victory thanks my Hefty bag, my Rattata bathed in the blood of its enemies, and this weird little dragon with an ability I never thought would come in handy.

This has to be the most hilarious thing ever. I'm so glad I tried even after seeing her Alakazam. It made for some good laughs. I wish I got this on video, but I didn't have one around and I was certain she had some trick up her sleeve that would ruin it (like a hidden third Full Restore or something). Damn though, my Jangmo-o was almost up to lv. 30 after this and I haven't even gotten to Route 2, yet.

  4. I think Articuno wil be at the top of Ametrine where we fought Blake and Kyurem will be in the place where Eclipse died since it's still in a chilly area. Moltres would probably be at the top of Mt. Pyrous and I'm not sure about Zapdos. Maybe just in that place where we fought the Pulse Magnezone, since all that electricity would probably attract it there. I feel like there's a big chance Volcanion would be found in the Springs. The Springs wasn't always like this, so I Volcanion might be related. That tower in the desert could have anything, but I feel like there's a good chance Magearna is going to be in there and maybe a dragon type legendary guarding it, especially with that tale about towers, dragons, and a trapped girl. It would be kind of fitting.

  5. Most gym leaders were difficult the first time, but one that really stands out to me was Noel when his Cincinno was first up. It seemed like nothing on my team could outspeed it and the flinches were just bull.

  6. Go towards the part that has the ledge that led you to PULSE Tangrowth previously. Use the Item Finder or just click on every unchecked tile. You'll find it eventually.

I think I heard somewhere that Ame decided to remove it because she wanted to have better sidequests for the legendaries

I'd be sad if that were true. I love the concept behind putting the legendaries behind a bunch of mystical doors which are gateways to a different world or something.

There really is something important there. Considering that the place where Adrienne fell was beyond an X Door, it's kind of guaranteed that it's special

Also, considering the fact that it's where the sleeping place of Arceus is, that just makes the idea that it was the door to the legendaries' homes even more plausible. Maybe Ame removed it because it would take a lot of time (or space?) to make a territory for every legendary (that would still be super cool, though, I wouldn't mind seeing some from Rescue Team make a comeback).

I simply assumed that the X doors were basically "this area is still being made", basically an incomplete area. This is after they were removed, granted. Before that, I assumed much what most people probably did, that they were where the Legendaries would be.

As for their real purpose...honestly, I don't know. This is merely speculation.

This idea would be plausible, except...

During the Eevee event, when you read the journal a "door with magical properties that can't be passed" is mentioned about Mysidia Cave, most likely referring to the X Door (not sure what else it could've been referring). So there was something interesting about those doors.

  10. There's this music title "Battle - Intense" also known as "the music with the Sonic sound effects" (joking), but seriously, where is this music from? I don't recognize it from Pokemon and the details section is empty.

As a side note: I really love that piece, but I think it'd honestly be better without the Sonic sound effects. Just imo.

Animations work properly for some users while others are experiencing lag and delay. I guess that the reason behind this are the specifications of your laptop

I gues that answers it then. Well, looks like I won't be able to play animations until I get a better laptop. Thanks anyway.

  12. So I'm sure it's just my laptop being terrible, but it takes like 5 seconds for the move to actually be used, so I have to turn them off if I want to go through the game at a decent pace. Is it my laptop being old or is there a way to speed up the move animations a little?

    Aha, sorry for the misinterpretation.

I honest to god hope the main character won't go as far as murder like Titania and Saphira. I get the whole "not every good guy is a good guy" message, but going as far as murdering defensless grunts is going a bit too far for my taste. Saphira has a decent reason, only wanting to protect her family, but I really don't like Titanias reason. However, this is not a discussing I wish to start on this topic, since it's about gym leaders we LIKE, not dislike.

Sorry again and have a wonderful day, my dear! ^^

It's fine. I should probably edit and explain myself better, because what I wrote was a bit vague.

It's fine. Part of being human means variety in views and opinions.

    You too! :)

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but this statement is wrong.

I think Team Meteor has underestimated the player many times and have been proven again and again that we are a bigger threat than they realize. How many times haven't we been nearly killed or kidnapped?  Solaris tried to kill us already back when we had ... what, four badges?

While Lin might not be see us as a threat, but I think Solaris and the others do so. The reason they've gotton away with the murders we have witnessed is because the action happened too fast for anyone to react or we were in a position that made us unable to do anything about it.

What I meant is that we were no threat to their livelihood, not their plans. People tend to think twice about doing something when their life is under a big risk. That's probably the reason why they tortured and killed many people from our side. To deter anybody else from getting involved. However, our character never does anything to put true fear into their hearts. We just faint their Pokemon, they run away, and setup another PULSE somewhere else. Characters like Sapphira and Titania (I can't remember if anybody else from our side slaughtered some Meteor goons) do a good job of eliminating their human capital and show them that there are consequences for actions.

You're right that we do pose a threat of some sort to them. But not the type of threat that can really change a person's actions. I'm not saying our character should kill them necessarily, but at least pose a threat to them, capture them, and put them behind bars. If their life is on the line, they won't have much of a choice but to comply.

  15. Oh boy, it came down to the wire between Shade and Sapphira. But in the end, I went with Sapphira. I'll admit it: I'm a sucker for badass, take-shit-from-no-one, powerful women characters who practically leave a quake in every step. And she absolutely fits the bill. People call her a Mary Sue, but I really don't think that's an accurate assessment. She's one of the most powerful gym leaders in the league, and she uses that power to help get the region back on track. It's definitely realistic in the world of Pokemon. Is it a bit unrealistic in the real world how she does things? Sure. But this is a world full of supernatural creatures that faithfully fight to protect their human partners. It's completely realistic in this scenario.

Anyway, enough about that. I also love how she is one of the few main character in the series that had no problem putting the terrorists 6 feet (or more since she sunk them) under to protect her family and to show them that nobody will put up with their shit anymore. We're not messing around anymore. You keep doing these criminal acts, your life will be on the line. Period. A lot of people might disagree with this mindset, but I'm proud to stand by it. You ruin other people's lives, you deserve no less. I'm tired of us toying around with Team Meteor, clearly posing no threat to them (in the sense that Team Meteor doesn't have to fear for their lives when encountering us, but we already know of one person who quit technically because of what Sapphira did), while they slaughter people left and right.

I can't wait to get to battle her and see just how tough she is. She better not disappoint me. :P
