  1. "N-Nothing! M'am!" Law's hair stands on end as he stiffens up at the toddler glaring twin holes in his back.
  2. Law scampers out, having the same drone from before ferry him out, before leaving it behind. "Ok guys, crisis averted. I just had to do some IT support. Apparently, this Tiffany's computation has been slapped together by someone who doesn't actually know how to hook up a brain." The last part muttered in a sotto voice. "Anyone here have a way we could dig out this dirt? Apparently they are stuck." He continues.
  3. The Brandfathers perform minor testing which allows them access to fundamental particles, such as electrons and gravitons, and do more testing with the specific clay used in pottery and tiles. -- Meanwhile, Notorious CREAM discovers Holocrete in the course of their minor experimentation. A substance made of dense hard light. -- The Brandfathers decide to incorporate a Bold new strategy, "Act with Discipline or we cut your pay". It is effective, but not very popular. -- Meanwhile, Notorious CREAM develops Standardized Research Procedures, improving the efficiency of their research, and increasing their logistics. -- Noteworthy Changes: Brandfathers may now use the Bold Strategy "Threaten to Dock Pay" to improve efficiency and discipline.
  4. "So you know a lot about making mechs, huh?" "I've got a mech of my own, actually. But it's made out of a dumpster and a Racoon instead of magical stuff. Well, it is made of magical stuff, but it's an Eldritch Racoon bound in ancient stone, rather than some kind of Favorlike substance." Dackly comments, partially to herself.
  5. () Kicking Captain Vito in the face, Jill knocks the ruthless captain out cold, after a lot of quiet and cricket chirping, his men panic, grabbing the captain and running away by leaping out of windows. "You made a mistake girlie, hitting our captain like that!" one of them shouts, before getting kicked in the ass by a screaming Mask, through a wall and out with the rest. Between the rest of the gang, the Pirate soldiers are easily dispatched. It seems all you needed to do was get close enough to clock that bastard to win this fight. All that remains is a trashed manor after the mad scramble is finished. -- With the pirates on the run now, Ricewine has all the time he needs to gel all the rest of the booze.
  6. "I'm a Precursor. It's fair to say that we aren't well known, M'am." "And yes. You were scrapping yourself for parts. I hope this taught you something about automatic priority processes during core system failure. If I hadn't been here, you would have kept at it until I'd be looking at a pile of assault rifles instead of a ship." Law says, arms crossed and with no small irritation. "I'm assuming you can take care of things now that you are thinking straight? I understand how awkward it can be to have what looks like a pest running around in your brain."
  7. "Beginning Repair. Please minimalize noncrucial functions." Law states loudly and clearly, working his way into her workings, he begins by grabbing his Rubber Grips and stripping them, wrapping the rubber around wires that have breached sheathes. He then crawls his way into her core, with the knowledge that his Precursor Robe will serve as protection in this environment. He seeks out empty slots and fills them with parts he has produced, fresh from his personal factory. Lastly, he uses his Precursor Multitool to make a web of cables to splice into all of the ports, trusting precursor nanotechnology to sort out signals while he unplugs and reforged all of the cables into replacements. "Facial Recognition and Security Software seems to be broken down. While useful here, it's a sign that even core systems are compromised." "Could explain why they are aiding the village. Mistaking them for allies by some metric or another, assuming repairs or orders to self repair would come from them when it is tactically advantageous."
  8. EXPLORATORY PHASE -- The Brandfathers send additional troops and an exploration party into the Glass Floor, discovering glittering glass, and lots of sunburn, the end result is an exploration party caught in the midst of a very uncomfortable and protracted skirmish against a smaller amount of Notorious CREAM Rebels. The fighting, while small in scale, takes a heavy toll on both side's demons in that area from radiant sunlight damage reflected from the glassy area. -- Notorious CREAM meanwhile, sends a small exploratory group to Humantown. The main thing of note is a "No Dogs" sign. Townspeople present refuse to speak of it, and change topics when prompted, according to reports. Skirmishing outside of Humantown seem to favor Notorious CREAM thanks to a supply of Concrete Hammers in the hands of their rebel forces. -- EVENT PHASE -- The Brandfathers lose a small number of their Demonic Troops to heatstroke and delirium in the desert. Medical Aid is needed for many of them. Notorious CREAM seems to avoid the issue with some form of cold magic, and massive delays to The Brandfather's efforts to deploy soliders cause more problems, due to what appears to be a combination of misdirection and internal sabotage of files. -- The Brandfathers discover Large Jagged Obelisks of obsidian in the Glass Floor Desert. Runes carved along some sides of them lend little to the Explorative Team that discovered them. -- Notorious CREAM discovers Hammertooth tigers near Humantown. Or at least, that's what the Exploratory team calls them after seeing one with practical wrecking balls attached to it's face shatter a wild boar's spine before digging in. RESULTS A protracted battle in the Glass Floor favors Notorious CREAM, while Skirmishing outside of Humantown also leans in their favor, due to Large Concrete Hammers which rebels are using for both attack and defence. Brandfathers discover Obsidian Obelisk Shards in the Glass Floor. Claiming them would surely provide some sort of benefit to the arcane arts. Notorious Cream discover a new species of Tiger, which uses it's massive and bulbous fangs to shatter bones in prey. Brandfathers have weakened efforts in The Glass Floor, due to a lack of heat and light protection for their Demonic Troops, and Delayed Deployment due to Sabatoge.
  9. "Not in my files. It must be data stored in a deeper memory bank." Law says, working his staff. "Caution is advised, invoking random names is dangerous enough around organics, much less a damaged A.I with unknown priorities."
  10. Law uses a scanstave charge on one of the repair drones to read it for options, expending a charge and leaving him with 2 more charges.
  11. "Divination? How does that trick work? I usually have to use Welders and Angry glares to make my mechs." Dackly posits with a smirk of interest. "It sounds as though what she calls a mech is closer to some type of complex energy field, shaped like a mech. Would that be correct?"
  12. "Tim, prepare a circle, I want every able bodied person here to grab a shovel or an axe. I want the area clear of debris. I need to get to work." Law begins printing Emergency Circuit Boards, RAM, and Memory Storage using his Alloy Printer and his 3 Metal Sawblades, and a thin foil case to store them safely in. If the Drone Bay isn't open, Law gets someone to help him shoot the peacemaker at it on low power to trigger another maintenance attempt to open the bay doors, and slip inside with his kit. "I'm going to attempt manual repairs to get them thinking straight, It can't hurt. Tim, start gathering EMC, Produce Precursor Metal and stockpile it by the door. It's not perfect, but nothing about this situation is perfect."
  13. "I've got all the working functions here on my screen. Take a look for yourself." "If they weren't able to deploy repair drones, I wouldn't be able to make it deploy them either." Law swipes the holographic screen, and it flies over to Ena, where it expands slightly to match her stature.
  14. "Are you sure it will ever turn back on if we turn it off now?" "The only person here with the sheer know how and production facilities needed to repair this unit is itself." "And it's unwilling to fix itself willingly." Law pips through several screens, tapping symbols that bleed and blend into one another as he manipulates his scanstave. "So I'm going to force the matter. They have repair and mining drones they can deploy. I need to know where a supply of metals and resources are. They've resorted to auto-cannibalization to fulfill it's goals. They need a supply of raw material." Law seems to have forgotten his fears in the moment, wholly absorbed in manipulating data.
  15. "Where is the closest Mine? It's crucial to your god's survival." Law says with some steel in his voice. He manipulates the holographic screen, scrolling through the options and data at his disposal. "They've been making your weapons from their own body, killing themselves to try and save you all."
  16. "By the p-precursors..." "I've never seen a machine function with this much damage." "I can-" "I can only pray that it lacks sensory feedback. The amount of broken components that must be in there." Law steps back at one of the loud noises. "It won't be long now, eventually driveshafts and some of the gears are going to start breaking entirely, and once parts like that start to go, there's no fixing it without a blueprint."
  17. -- The Brandfathers test a number of things for their minor research, the most important of which being their discovery that multiple castings of their Convex Mana Structure spell can be combined to form Concave objects. -- Meanwhile, Notorious CREAM discover a mysterious Substance known as "Crycrete", whose properties hold interesting potential. -- The Brandfathers commit to their Research, calling on a favor from Demonco to obtain Silicon. They find Synthesis to be a challenging task, due to the energy requirements. -- CREAM however, has more success, developing a ritual which can coat an object in a field of cooling magic. -- NOTABLE CHANGES -- Brandfathers may now hold back Magic users to increase production for a round. --
  18. "We were making a carepit for horrific monsters that I made through forbidden alchemy!" Dackly cheers with a cheer.
  19. "Yes. We are." Gozer claims, while Dackly contorts into a reclining position with a grin. Gozer, meanwhile, hasn't moved since exiting.
  20. As she exits, she blinks (winks?) and smiles at the newcomer. "Hello there, deary." Dackly says. "Greetings." Gozer continues blankly.
  21. Setting up a table, a deck, and a PDA. "No Mind reading here, just a lot of practice. We need some chips, or something else to wager."
  22. "So, Who'd like to play a game of poker? I believe we've got enough cards from that table I flipped." Grant announces with a grin.
  23. Mask rushes in, trying to use his seastone sword to piece Vito's Trash Golem, but it's thickness prevents it from reaching him, both of them are forced to retreat backwards, having made no forward progress. The old man, meanwhile, leaps into a trash can, and is dragged into Vito's Trash Body Zoffy's Electro charged staff strikes Captain Vito, but with a roar, he throws a trashcan armored fist at Zoffy, sending him flying backwards, and forcing him back. Jill, Meanwhile, forces pirates back, allowing her and her allies to all move forward. Sigmund finds it difficult to push the pirates back, what with Jill doing so faster, he swings at empty air several times just as Jill thrashes some poor fool. Captain Vito seems agitated. -- Trying to compress booze into gel form, Ricewine succeeds in spilling half of it by mistake, leaving him with a much more manageable amount Meanwhile, Issac, Cora, and Kyra meet in a back hall.
  24. "Sure is, thanks for asking, friend! The nice gal here's just been helping me come to terms with the situation, asked if I was any good at fighting. I'm a Gambler by trade, you see." Grant says with a polite demeanor, his face showing none of what it was showing before.
