  1. "There exists no such thing that I "cannot deal with"." "That is one privilege to those of us who fight powerful foes, rather than dispose of pestering animals." Deadlift replies.
  2. "A technique from my old world. I can use my spirit energy as bait, drawing out foes from hiding, or even from the depths of spirit world. It's possible that here, it attracts fools from an even deeper pool." Deadlift comments simply.
  3. Deadlift's laughter only intensifies as the spirit fades away, before eventually, his head is thrown back, and his face wracked with glee. As his laughter dims, he catches his breath, and then speaks. "They did manage to push me to using 40% of my power. An impressive feat for spectral scum like them." He cracks his neck, and gathers up the spoils.
  4. Deadlift laughs, a slow, rumbling thing, before running forward like a train, his fist cocked back like some twisted engine of war. "Now, Die!" He shouts, punching them one last time in the stomach.
  5. Deadlift switches That's not good enough for Monster Suit, unleashing a wave of intense spiritual pressure. "It's too late for that now. Bolster your courage with whatever toys you like. It will serve you well in the next life." (+5 Strength, +1 Con, +2 Health Regen from Untalented.)
  6. "You should focus on growing stronger, if you are really that helpless." "You can take that lesson with you to the grave." Deadlift Deals 2d6+13 Crushing damage with another punishing blow. (+5 Strength, +1 Con, +2 Health Regen from Untalented.)
  7. "You're disappointing me." "Has your power failed you?!" Deadlift says, as he takes their attack head on, his presumably cooked body regenerating before their eyes as he holds his arms out and laughs to provoke them. Deadlift swaps out his Crude Steel Bracer for "That's not good enough", and activates it, increasing the enemy's Strength by their ESS. (+5 Strength, +1 Con, +2 Health Regen from Untalented.)
  8. "Stay out of this Houdini, I'm busy." Deadlift snarls at Shamhat, as his side smoulders and cooks under the flames.
  9. Deadlift uses Powered Up Punch again, dealing (2d6+12) Crushing Damage. (+9 Slash Resistance, +5 Strength, +1 Con, +2 Health Regen from Untalented.)
  10. "Many choose to care for their weapons when they are not being killed, friend." Deadlift comments, already reeling back for another one. Deadlift uses Powered Up Punch again, dealing (2d6+12) Crushing Damage. (+9 Slash Resistance, +5 Strength, +1 Con, +2 Health Regen from Untalented.)
  11. "Haaaaaaaaaah..." Deadlift exhales, sneering madly at his opponent. Deadlift throws a brutal right hook at the Phantom with his Powered Up Punch, dealing (2d6+12) Crushing Damage. (+9 Slash Resistance, +5 Strength, +1 Con, +2 Health Regen from Untalented.)
  12. "No amount of physical exercise is "A lot" for me." Deadlift, meanwhile, decides the only remaining route for him is to try to go all the way around. He goes into the Teleglitch room, and then, to the right.
  13. "What is it they say about extraordinary claims?" Deadlift responds. "Unless you have an answer to poisonous gasses, I believe we've gotten all we're going to get out of exploring this room."
  14. "I don't know." Deadlift shrugs. "I haven't concerned myself with sciences before. Obscure Spiritual Sciences less so." "Anything that would let me grow stronger is something I'll welcome."
  15. "I don't know. There's a great deal of toxic gas behind this wall, and down one of those halls behind some rubble." Deadlift pauses for a while. Looking for the right words to explain it. "Spirit energy, or Reiki, is energy possessed by all humans. It is manifested through emotion, and utilized by the spiritually aware." "I learned to manifest spirit energy from- -my old master. Toguro. And then I learned how to grow it to staggering new heights from the same person years later." Deadlift speaks in an odd inflection, when talking about his training. "It requires brutal training and dedication to master. Though anyone could potentially utilize it." "I know of another scientist who was able to make use of it, by manipulating the brains of humans using strange demonic organs attached to their spines. It was not enough for him to defeat his opponents, however."
  16. Deadlift simply crumples the tube shut. "So that hallway must lead to the outside anyway. Probably?" Deadlift comments out loud. "My Spirit Energy. It's intense enough that I can make objects harder, and more durable. It can also make me stronger, physically." "Without using spirit energy, it's nearly impossible to defeat another user of spirit energy with weapons and musculature alone."
  17. Deadlift grabs everything, peels the entire false wall off, and piles it on the ground. He then walks forward, rolls up the false wall into a tube, and punches it through the far wall in the back to peek through.
  18. "Toxins..." "Suck." Deadlift wheezes, his flesh slowly regenerating. He opts instead to return to Outdoor Training Area 1, and carefully plunges his arm shoulder deep into the wall between the Collapsed and Loud Hall.
  19. Deadlift opts to shove the material in front of him at incredibly high speed, pushing air back and throwing himself backward as well.
  20. "The rest of you keep going straight ahead. I will clear this hall while you move forward." Deadlift comments, attempting to push through the rubble as though it were thick snow.
  21. Deadlift smiles slightly, and turns away from the combat. "I'm going to move on. We have to move forward." Deadlift says, going into the unexplored room Evelyn chose NOT to go into.
  22. "You would have to be an incredibly strong psychic to open a portal to Demon World. Even a portal the size of a fist would be nigh-impossible for any human alone." Deadlift claims with intense interest and incredulity. "If you can summon impressive demons, then there's really nothing for me to say, other than, perhaps 'Welcome aboard, and we're happy to have you'."
  23. Deadlift snaps to Chelchis. "What a cowardly point of view. If you lose to some strong leader, it is because you are weak. There are no titles or chastised servants that will change that." "Perhaps the burdens carried by strength should not be carried instead by careful words and useless titles."
  24. "So a conjurer of cheap tricks. How does knowledge of demons help us if there are no demons?" Deadlift dismisses, the mention of demons increasing his interest and curiosity. After getting his answer, he goes down the other unexplored room.
