The Pokemon Anime was at it's best in XYZ, where it went full on Shonen.
Why can't we go back to that? Sun and Moon wasn't awful, but I liked the Pokemon anime better when it was full on shonen.

^I like Hoenn and Sinnoh a lot, BW killed it for me and then competitive killed Pokémon entirely so I haven't gotten around to the xy and sm series yet
Hopefully xyz ends up being something I like, since I quite like the gen 6 games

Sinnoh was great too, iirc that where the Pokémon company decided to take over the dubbing from 4kids. the Unova anime was widely considered bad

I think xyz was fine as hecc! I wish they'd gone that direction for BW too since the games would've benefited from a better anime x(
