  1. Well, everyone did act out of instinct, so it makes sense that no one was really coordinated with anyone else. So in future turns should we specify a secondary target in case the first is destroyed? Also, on the master sheet, is it required to post a theme?
  2. Well, it was simply a matter of check who was next in init order. I chose my target randomly, and I think everyone may have wanted a boost, and didn't check the initiative order. However, it does make sense that a character would shift targets if one vaporized in front of them right?
  3. Maybe, if a monster has been vaporized, Murdoc can have a character just redirect their actions to the nearest shadow beast? It would make sense from a logical standpoint for characters to not attack thin air right?
  4. Just for fun, I'm looking at how much damage Shadow Beast B might take. So, in tandem with weld, Kagari's Hip/Butt Gatling can do between 18 and 33 HP raw damage to Shadow Beast B. It also takes damage of 1-4 from the arc welder itself. Theodore's raw resonance can do 4-10 damage. I'm not so sure about Solomon, but I think that the damage output is 11-19? Aurora does 2d4+5=7-13 raw damage Hellfire Knights Curtain fire should do 7-10 raw damage Magna's Reave should do 4-14 damage I'm not sure if I did this right, but that should be 52-103 raw damage. That's a lot.
  5. I was just scanning the list I already had, and didn't process that, though Theodore wasn't there, Theo was. Hikari used an action and perk that boosts STR on two characters who are using non-STR-based actions...Unlucky
  6. Those who have used their action: Pluck (I think, not sure if retreating counts) Hikari Edmond Sachi Jade Theo Solomon Katsuo Magna Aurora Heo Hellfire Knight Bridgett Kagari Those who have not: Snow EDIT: Yeah, that's obvious, sorry for missing that. ALSO: @Adamance Does the boost from the welder apply to every hit of a multi strike attack (i.e. Butt/Hip Gatling) or just the first? It makes sense that it would apply to all hits right?
  7. Great. It seems the knight was correct. Well, I suppose this will be the real test of whether we can work together. However, the real question is why we were brought to...well basically a cage, after hearing a cry for help. So, I don't have any weapons on me except my welder. Actually, I might be able to use that. A series of three sharp clicks signal the activation of the welder. A small tongue of blazing incandescent plasma flares out of the nozzle. Edmond takes up a balanced stance, and prepares to jab at one of the oncoming creatures. Edmond will use weld against Shadow Beast B ((If someone else attacks Shadow Beast B, they will get damage boost))
  8. What time of day is it in the rp? That's something a character should be able to discern, right? They've been talking for long enough that the sun should have moved enough to make a deduction.
  9. "It's worth a shot, in my opinion." Edmond, still a trifle anxious, backed a few steps away.
  10. Seeing a new face awaken, Edmond walked over to introduce himself. "I'm Edmond. For some reason, a bunch of people have been called here, for lack of a more appropriate term. We're...sort of... working on a plan to get out of this valley."
  11. "I'm simply saying that if you see a problem with something that someone does, you should articulate your opinion, and contribute to a plan." This is going to be hell, isn't it...
  12. ((So embarrassing, I kept calling my character Edmond Dantes. I've been reading too much Count of Monte Cristo)) "Excuse me ma'am. In the armor? I know that it may be dangerous to experiment with what this barrier may be, but do you have a plan? We are trapped here at the moment, you know. We need to do something. Also, does anyone happen to have any food on them? We need to know what supplies we have", said Edmond. He was hesitant to address the knight again, but he deemed it necessary.
  13. ((I'm switching back to past tense for aesthetics)) Well, it seems that introductions are almost complete. We seem to have an abundance of humans. From Earth? I suppose it may not have been abandoned in their alternate planes and timelines. I'm almost certain that no one here is from the same world. Edmond jerked out of his reverie as the grey-cloaked man approached. What is he planning on doing with that book? Is he going to throw it? That seems...odd. A waste of a good book. Edmond, wary of the luminous crackling barrier, edged away.
  14. Edmond noticing this abrupt change in atmosphere, hurries over to get a closer look at the path.
  15. "I think we're going this way," called Edmond. "We're following this path up and out."
