Wouldn't that make the proceeding events needlessly complex?

Just chill, Ice types are cool. People may give them the cold shoulder, but as long as you don't get cold feet, you'll easily ice your opponents. I guess there are snow problems here?
-
Good job on writing the After-Action-Report. It was pretty fun to read, and it's good to see the underappreciated ice typing get some exposure (no pun intended). Here's your prize:

Oi, oi! How mean of you ~ Barging in, and entering our humble abode, and then proceeding to live here for 2 years without even so much as saying a hello! How cruel you are, truly the most cruel person I have yet to meet. Your vileness cannot be described in vacuum, and needs to be compared to the likes of ... Johann Liebert and Kyubey! But I'll forgive, this once... Despite your nature being that of pure evil. ~ Aren't I great? Welcome. Now where did I put my axe?

I don't seem to understand this one?

Honestly, I don't care a single bit about third party games on a Nintendo console. My PC will play those infinitely better. But Nintendo's own games are the true draw of their consoles. If they give us new entries in the Smash Brothers, Mario Kart, Zelda and Metroid series, it'll surely be a console worth having from those games alone.

I've stepped into your lair, and now I introduce myself.
Tartar replied to cordialChaos's topic in Welcome Center
I see, a new toy has stepped into our lair. Good... Our last toy has gotten kind of worn with all the playing we've done Do be wary of the various boulder-, poison dart, and pitfall traps in the area ~ We wouldn't want you to have an untimely demise now, would we? "And he even comes willingly, is this bravery or stupidity? Only time will tell" Surely this is fate, you see. He even signed the blood contract upon entry! "What? Really... Just like that? He handed his soul over that easily.. Yes, he just clicked on the "Agree to Terms of Use" without even reading it! "Perhaps his entry was stupidity after all? What type of person would willingly enter our lair..." Don't worry, we will make good use of him, his mind will be stolen and assimilated into the hivemind. "And his body will be used for manual labour to build more shrines to our Lord and Savior, Ame" Good, we are in agreement on the due course of action. "Now, let us greet our never member, he seems to be having some troubles navigating the Wasteland" Now, son of Man: CordialChaos. Praise our name, and offer yourself as a sacrifice to gain entry into the godforsaken holy land of ours~ Many funs are to be had here, at a prize... Though you seem willing enough to pay it. -
Again, no matter how cool the console is, it all comes down to the games. This goes in reverse too, if the console turns out to be not very good or has some fatal flaw, good games will make said faults moot. And from what Nintendo has shown, they make some great games. So I'm not worried at all that it'll be a worthwhile console.

That... Looks surprisingly good O_o Cautious optimism on my part, but depending on which games are released I could definitely see myself getting one.

At this rate as long as the beta test goes well, we should have the new episode by Christmas!

I don't know, despite these past formats not being very trap heavy I always like to at least include 3x Solemn Strike, Bottomless Trap Hole and some other trap, even in decks that don't typically run them. It just catches people off guard and wins games.

I see your point, but at the same time they've been on a roll with their releases in the past 10 years. The Gameboy Advance was amazing, proceeded by the equally amazing Nintendo DS, and now we have the 3DS. All their handheld consoles have been spot on the past 3 generations. The Gamecube, Wii and WiiU have also all been great consoles with huge libraries of fun and interesting games. Frankly, the only bad consoles they've made are the Virtual Boy and the lack of good games on the N64.

I trust Nintendo enough think that they know what they're doing with their consoles.

My main problem with Yugioh is that the majority of the time my favorite archetypes are never viable... My favorite archetypes mechanically thus far have been Chronomally, Gusto and Raidraptors during my time playing Yugioh. Raidraptors being the closest thing to being viable, though themselves being hard-counters by Pendulum, Monarch and Burning Abyss...

- What do you dislike about the place? And why do you stay here despite disliking it? - Why do you commit so much time to Reborn and the development of the game? What do you personally find so worthwhile in helping with the project? And on that note... Why did you take 3 majors (or the Brazilian equivalent)? It seems a bit much...

Sure, go to your PC and put it on your team ~ Nothing preventing you from using more than 6 Mons.
-
Honestly, your team is very strong and well-rounded thus far. So, from a move standpoint, - I think Brave Bird fits Blaziken better than Shadow Claw - Knock Off on Archeops may be better in the future, since many Gym Leaders use Pokemon with items, Head Smash may also be a fun addition to your Archeops build. - Thunder Wave on Magnezone is better than HP rock, especially since you've already got coverage for Ice, Flying and Bug pokemon. Otherwise your team is very offensively oriented and future challenges may need you to have a more defensive team. So adding something like Ampharos, Dusknoir or a Coffagrius for utility support could be useful, although not at all necessary at the moment. Overall you team is good enough to be Ciel.

From the deepest parts of Tartarus I return once more. I have come hither, to work my necromantic arts and revive this thread. Now, arise, AMA of the one we call Kurotsune, plague your creator with questions once more! So ~ - "How do you feel your studies of psychology have influenced your behavior and the way you deal with people on- and offline?" You asked me to ask you this question, so feel free to answer. But from you said in a previous answer, it seems like you haven't studied psychology at all. So the question could be rephrased to how have your studies of economy, gastronomy and computer-sciences influenced your behavior? ... - How did Ame blackmail you into joining the Reborn development team? And have you perhaps developed stockholm syndrome while here?

TIL Kuro has an AMA. Edit: It just dawned upon me... Is your name a portmanteau of Kuro and Kitsune?

- How do you feel your studies of psychology have influenced your behavior and the way you deal with people on- and offline? - How did you meet and befriend Kurotsune. And on that note how did persuade/blackmail/force/convince Kuro to join the dev-team?

The Melee competitive scene has always seemed very interesting, although at the same time impenetrable to me. It's mostly the fear that I won't ever be able to achieve anything were I to even try, and thus I never started. I have played a lot of Brawl, but when people start talking about things like wavedashing and L-canceling and how important advanced techniques are to even being decent at the game, it kills any desire I have to even try to learn the game. What makes you personally so interested in the game? And how much time have you invested to become as good as you are at the game?
