I think you're misunderstanding something, Amethyst hasn't made the engine and script (Pokemon Essentials) which Reborn is running on, another team completely unrelated to Reborn has been doing that. First things first, before Ame can't even start implementing anything relating to Gen 6 the developers of Pokémon Essentials have to implement all the new features into the script of Essentials which will likely take a while. It took them 2 to fully implement Gen 5 Pokémon, and they just finalized the support for the Gen 6 Mechanics in Version 16 which released last December, 2 years after the release of X and Y. So at the very least before adding new mechanics, transformations and whatnot we'll have to wait a year or two. The Pokémon themselves should only take 3-4 months to add though. Reborn itself first got support for Gen 6 Mechanics in Ver 15. It's way too early to even consider the implementation of Gen 7 mechanics at this point.

Great write-up, Kuro. I appreciate you taking your time to write this basic primer for discussions, though as you stated yourself, it may be a pipe-dream to have everyone play by these rules on the internet. The main problem being that most people when they go online and going to talk with other people aren't seeking to understand the viewpoints of others and reach some sort of compromise or truth, but to have their own views and opinions validated, to fuel their ego and self-indulgence. This is quite understandable, as it's exhausting and mentally straining to engage in the sort of debate you're advocating for, and in the end not immediately as rewarding. Perhaps in some sort of far flung utopian future we'll have an internet where people can discuss and debate in such a manner that everyone is open minded and respectful of one another. But for now, the best way to get the best of an argument is to wholly avoid it in my eyes. And you're making it sound as if you're quitting the community or something with this sentence, which I hope isn't the case?

I'd say Fennekin would be my 2. favorite starter af Chikorita, were it not for my dislike of Delphox. Delphox ruined that whole evolutionary line, considering how awesome Fennekin and Braixen were.

It's not as sedimentary as Sherlock Holmes would have you believe, but if you aggregate your ideas, you'll have a landslide of fun in the long run. Naturally Leafeon is useless if you send it out against Special Attackers, butis combined with the fact that it has a simply amazing movepool (Leaf-Blade/Synthesis/Yawn/Swords Dance) means that it can quickly put the opponent to sleep, set-up with Sword's Dance and then use synthesis to recover any lost health. Naturally you can't use it in all situations, but when you can, it can easily sweep and take many hits before dying. It can also be part of a Baton-Pass Team and pass Sword's Dance to other Pokémon, which is neat. In Reborn the Eeveelutions are hampered by their inability to learn TM's and many Move Tutor-Moves. That is why Leafeon is so great, because it can learns its best moves naturally.

I recommend reading Berserk, the thing has been going on for 30 years, and the amount of hiatuses we've had has been astounding, we're talking about years with no releases, and when we get one, it's 20 pages, and then the author goes silent for another year or so... Reading Berserk is suffering. Though my hiatus armor is really strong by now, so I don't mind.

The thing that was the most annoying about her use of Snow Cloak. Luckily my Machamp with the No Guard did pretty well against her, and swept 2 Pokémon!
