  2. Send me your address and you can catch these ha-..... oh. :l Never mind.
  3. Love video games? Out of things to play? Have a 3ds? Well, I want to bring to your attention games that I feel don't get much love that might interest you. Digimon games! Don't kill me. Digimon world ds, dawn and dusk are rpgs that involve you going through dungeons with your digimons and isn't like pokemon at all, really. The digivolution method is pretty good and it's really satisfying getting a strong digimon. They do have problems though. Ds has random battles and dead ends with a kiddy story while Dawn and Dusk are slow paced in the beginning and in my opinion is also too easy in the beginning, but I can recommend them to anyone whos interested. Digimon World Championship, on the other hand, is unique and awesome and definitely the best digimon game. You raise your digimon like pets to prepare them for battle. The battles are ai controlled, but it's about raising your digimon's stats and digivolution is a complex and detailed system. You can simply wait to have your digimon digivolve, have it fight battles, or increase it's elemental ap to get ready for the championship, all the while having ways to increase it's stats. If youre interested, get World Championship first. Harvest Moon/Rune Factory: Underrated series in my opinion. You may or may not have heard of Harvest moon, but basically its a farming sim. You kinda have to play it yourself to see why it's so good (it's really hard to explain), and thats if you like it at all, you might not. Some aren't as good as the others but I'll rate the ds ones first. Tale of Two Towns: 9.5/10 This one is good to start with. I should know, it was my first Harvest Moon game and I couldn't put it down. 1/3 of my 8th grade summer went to this game lol. Reception is mixed, but I think it's good. Sunshine Islands: 8/10 Basically Island of happiness, the GOOD version. IOH isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be but SI is way better and is mostly the same. Ds (cute is the girl version) 6.5/10 Do not start with this one. If you get really into the series it's pretty good, but things are super expensive and the game design just isn't well thought out but one can still enjoy it if they get past those problems. For the 3ds: A New Beginning 8/10 SLOOOOOOOOW beginning but if you get past that you got a good game. Story of Seasons 9.9/10 So close to being a perfect Harvest Moon game but small problems hold it back. Stamina drains fast, things are expensive, and the beginning is super slow but great game. Now lets talk about Rune Factory. This is a spinoff, the tagline is literally "A Fantasy Harvest Moon". Farming is a big part still, but there's combat, forging, mythical creatures and monsters and the like. 4 for the 3ds is amazing and in my opinion one of the best games ever just for the sheer amount of effort put into it but I'll get into that later. (1-3 are for the ds) 1 is a classic. It's simple, which is good, and it really balances the farming and combat well. The characters are ok, but there not really a focus. 2 dropped the ball a bit. It's pretty boring and just isn't as good as the others. 3 completely changed the formula. The mechanics are now more loose (which is good), more effort was put into the supporting cast, good story, better combat, and it still manages to balance farming and combat really well. This is where another 1/3 of my 8th grade summer went. In 4, everything that was good about the first 3 games have been upped to the max. The company could really use the help, too, as they're struggling financially. If you're in Europe, you have to buy it through the eshop, but it's worth it. 999: The first part of the Zero Escape trilogy. It's a mystery game with a cool premise. 9 people are kidnapped and stuck in a sinking boat and must play "The Nonary Game". They have 9 hours to escape. They must find door 9, the exit, while following all of Zero's (the mastermind behind this) rules. They all have a number on the watch on their wrist (Junpei, who you play as, is 5) and if they break any rule, the bomb that was planted in their stomach as they were knocked out will detonate. Every character involved is linked to the story and there's a lot of story. Pay attention to every detail. There's past and present elements, amnesia, past friends, murder, and trust in the story and you choose your own path. As you can probably tell, this is not for the faint of heart. Death and blood is pretty common. The rest of the trilogy (Virtues Last Reward and Zero Time Dilemma) is on the 3ds. The series doesn't have that many fans so the budget was limited and the third game had many production difficulties, but great series. This is where the last 1/3 of my 8th grade summer went. I had no life during that period. :/ Lock's Quest: A tower defense game with you on the front lines. First you build your defenses and then you fight the robot enemies called clockworks yourself with the help of your walls, cannons, and traps. Good story and game design, and it's criminal how little people know about this game. I will say though, this game gets HARD, you get just enough supplies to last each turn and some bosses are probably gonna take a few tries, so if you can't handle big difficulty, I'd skip it. Advance Wars: Fire emblem but with an actual army, tanks and guns and that. Seriously, same company too. You probably haven't heard much of it because Nintendo acts like it doesn't exist. The first two for the gba are really good, 2nd one is better, and the 3rd, Dual Strike for the ds is the best. Days of Ruin, which is the fourth one, Is completely different, no returning characters or factions, dark story where 90% of the human population has been killed off by meteor strikes and the sky is covered in dust, making crops near impossible to grow. I could recommend any of them, and if you get into the series, go nag Intelligent systems to make a 5th game because they're putting so much effort into Fire Emblem. FE HAS BEEN SAVED FOR YEARS, NOW SAVE ADVANCE WARS!!! Petz Dolphinz (Yes, I'm serious): I know, I know but hear me out. My sister bought this years and years ago at a flea market and I was bored out of my mind so I decided to play it. I found that it can actually be pretty addictive taking care of the park and it can get pretty challenging as the game goes on. I haven't played any other Petz game, but after playing this one they might be pretty good. Overall, much better game than I expected. Fossil Fighters: POKERMANZ WIT DINOSAURZ 5.874653229/Turnip LEWL-ign. Not really. Some similarities, but it stands on its own. The first 2 are for the ds and are simple and good, but the second one felt REALLY short, like, I beat it in less than a week short, when most of my summer was devoted to Rune Factory 3, Tale of Two Towns, and 999. The third is for the 3ds, but I heard it was pretty bad. Pokemon Conquest: Pokemon and Nobunaga's Ambition. Not the first combo I think of but hey. Decent game and you don't really have to play Nobunaga's Ambition to get it. The big problem I have with it though is that since there is no more ds wi fi, you can't get the post game missions, so most of the game you can't even play. Oh and medabots for the gba, the rpg one. Itz gud :3
  4. I started with a buneary to be like sis lol. I considered a psuedo too and I gotta say if you choose a psuedo go with gible because garchomp is op and 4th gen is best gen.
  5. This is obviously the result of THE PATRIARCHY
  6. Awakening is the best game to start with honestly and I'd recommend it even though it's a huge mixed bag for vets and newcomers. (I like it a lot and will admit its problems.) I also liked Sacred Stones which can be easy if you grind but is still really fun and the characters are pretty good. Fates is.....well... I like it kinda, but Conquest: Meh story, good maps and characters Birthright: God awful maps, nonexistent strategy (I shake my head at those who actually found it hard) and bad characters, it took everything bad about awakening and upped it to the extreme without retaining anything good. But decent story I guess Revelations: Oh dear god no. Story practically wrote itself yet they still messed up big time and the game design is some of the worst. Seriously, their idea of challenge is "We're gonna give you these guys who come in too late and too low leveled to catch up and die in one hit and you have to make it past these promoted enemies who are higher than your strongest units with huge stats". It's pay to win basically. Also you're gonna have to fork over 70$ when all 3 are only worth about 40. Shadow dragon is ok, kinda simple though with no supports. However, Fire emblem genealogy of the holy war (The 4th for the snes and I'm pretty sure there is a patched rom for it still) is amazing. Exp is a limited resource, the strategies involved are so great, awesome writing, character pair ups that can make interesting children combinations and are fun to experiment with, and the challenge is for the most part fair. But I'd get used to the series more before trying that one. Honestly fe gba bored me but whatevs. If I had to rank them: 5. fates 4. Shadow Dragon 3. Sacred Stones 2. Awakening 1. Genealogy
  7. I made a 4th gen team for fun and just to see if anyone was playing 4th ou. I love Glaceon and figured i could use it smartly to surprise people but after constructing the team for 20 minutes I found out Glaceon can't be used because of its only ability which breaks evasion clause.
  8. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or at the very least, Travis is back!
  9. So a few days ago I downloaded Pokemon metal on pokemoner.com and I apparently got a spyware virus (It was most likely fake, I called a number and this guy who talked in broken english was persistent in trying to get me to buy a 200$ antivirus sofware, got my name wrong when he was looking for it on the registered computers, Only happened on this computer not on any other electronic devices I have and only in chrome, when I told him I was 17 his tone changed to being not that interested especially when my mom got on the phone and said no to the anitvirus, and I turned my computer off and on again and Chrome was GONE.). I'm honestly probably not going to download any more roms except for updates for my current games but are there sites that I should just straight up avoid? Edit: Ok so My computer had a huge update after the whole fiasco and I have microsoft defender now. I scanned my computer and it says I'm clean. Thanks guys
  10. I can tell ya from experience traveling is a real spain in the ass XD
  11. So this is an odd question but I only have until the end of june until my high school days are over and I try looking for art colleges online but it's so complicated and takes me to colleges I don't want or tries to make me sign up for a program bleaheaheah. Has anyone here gone to an art college and had a positive experience? If so, what was it? Oh I should also probably mention my goal is to become a graphic novel or indie comic publisher.
  12. I already know I sound like Chris Guerrero, most godlike voice ever. Nah. More like guy who knows too much about Pokemon and has to keep it to himself during conversations to not make it awkward.

  14. Conquest is ok. It's not too difficult and has a fair amount of content. But you can't get glaceon until the end :,(
  15. Don't have to give reasons why, but I'm just curious what your guys' fav gens are. This is my opinion and I wholly respect yours. 1=Favorite etc. etc. 7=least favorite 1. 4th gen - Too much nostalgia, had the HGSS remakes which are amazing, best rival, best anime arc, so many good pokes and great mystery dungeon game. 2. 2nd gen - Crystal is so good and I'm a geek for those old graphics and battle system. Sometimes simple is good. 3. 3rd gen - Love Hoenn region, all 3 starters are pretty much loved by everybody (you can't say that about pretty much any other gen), pretty good anime arc, first mystery dungeon games, XD and Colosseum, 1st gen remakes which updated the somewhat outdated red and blue, and 2nd best story in Pokemon in my opinion. 4. 6th gen - Mega evolution is awesome (but broken lol), great memories, awesome pokemon, and it seemed to get so many people back into pokemon (including me). I've heard the anime arc for this is surprisingly good (except for the end lolololololololol). BUT, way too easy, bit short, competetive was cancer, and it had those disgusting ORAS remakes. That's where megas just got way out of hand imo. (HOW DO YOU MAKE A POKEMON THAT IS BANNED FROM THE BANNED TIER!?!?!?!?) 5. 7th gen - Sorry, wasn't that great :/ Alolan forms are meh, dumbass set number for Masuda method (done breeding for shinies because of it), SOS mechanic is horrible and ended up forcing me to kill a wild shiny and I'm not a fan of the trials and available pokemon, especially in the beginning and no move tutor until the end of the game. On the other hand, love the characters, new pokemon, Ultra Beasts, challenge, convenience, and customization. But I'm not going back to it seriously for quite awhile. Also the anime isn't that great. 6. 1st gen - Love the games, especially yellow, but it's outdated, plain and simple. Also, giving you a pikachu when the first gym is all ground? My 7 year old self never saw past Brock :,( 7. 5th gen - Ihateitihateitihateitihateit. Sorry. The pokemon are just bad in general (not to mention a lot are blatant ripoffs of mostly 1st gen pokemon), worst rival (Cheren), the story was too scared to be as dark as it wanted to be, worst anime arc, Emboar, boring, and almost made me quit Pokemon. The good things I'll say about it is that Bianca is a really good character, N too, Black 2 and White 2 are decent, Oshawott is my 2nd favorite pokemon, Zekrom is pretty cool, and the player character in the original is the coolest looking. @Viridescent 2.0 Exactly
  16. 1. Bulbasaur 2. Cyndaquil 3. Mudkip 4. Chimchar 5. Oshawott 6. Chespin 7. Rowlett
  17. A certain someone downloaded it and is enjoying it very thoroughly. Don't know who though. Could be me. Might not be though. Could be.
  18. Preferably a starter like piplup or mudkip and with decent ivs. The best I can offer is a shiny onix (I could put the metal coat on it if you want, I'm not gonna use it) or a shiny sewaddle nicknamed seasalt. Edit: Sorry traded already
  19. So I'm pretty sure I asked this already but I can't find the topic in my profile or searching the forums but in episode 16 can you get Glaceon in the Aventurine woods? I saw a video but it was posted abuot 3 years ago so it could be out of date. Edit:@Odybld Thanks. Another question though, sorry, but are you required to go through that area or is it, like, a hidden area or something? Got it
  20. I just wanted to wish you all Merry Christmas and hope you had a good year, because mine wasn't all that great. I don't want to sound super sappy but I want to share this with you all. A few weeks ago a girl I was friends with committed suicide and to top it all off her body was found about a half hour later and was in a vegitous state. I found this out on the last day I was at school before starting cyber school during senior pictures. I was close friends with her brother and he didn't show up that day and later they decided to pull the plug. I had to do cyber school because I've been dealing with colon issues for 3 years (it took the doctors a year to actually listen to me and find the problem leaving me permanently damaged) and I've struggled with and continue to do so with depression ever since middle school (I'm a senior now). I'm an aspiring comic book artist and some days I just don't seem to improve and can't draw the simplest things Some days I don't feel like even getting out of bed and I don't have much contact with my friends now that I'm not in school anymore. But, suicide has never crossed my mind and I've always strived to be someone and fullfill my dreams. I can't say I believe that God is a 100% benevolent ruler but I do believe in heaven and hell, and the girl I knew did not deserve to suffer the way she did and could possibly be doing now and I can't possibly imagine the pain her family went through this Christmas. No matter what you are, Christian, Atheist, Jew, etc., I wish you all a happy life and want to say if life is pushing you down, fight back in any way you can. No one deserves to suffer like that.
  21. So this episode has bothered me for a long time because it seemed so poorly put together. I have so many complaints and counter arguments against it. Prepare for my salt. 1. They made Blanka an electric type. First of all, no, it doesn't work like that. Humans aren't normal type. Also, by this logic, Shadow should have been dark type rendering Mewtwo's abilities inneffective. 2. They nerfed Pikachu by not letting him have Ash and claim that he's incompetent without him, even though Snake had Otacon, Sam had Grimm, Meta and Carolina had those whatevers, Ramona got her clones, Tommy got saba (although that one didn't matter too much), Agumon got Tai, and...oh yeah, Charizard had Red. I don't care that this episode was before those, if they come up with rules and take this stuff as seriously as they say, there's no excuse. Ash and Pikachu are as close as any of those combinations. 3. Blanka has experience killing small animals. Yeah. In the wilderness with brains the size of peanuts, not highly intelligent animals who fight gigantic beasts for a living. Also, pokemon tank lasers, fire, and other pokemon with claws and attacks like Blanka, so that begs the question, can Blanka actually mortally harm Pikachu? (Fainting =/= Death, that has been confirmed.) 4. Pikachu is much faster (they said it) but yet Blanka is fast enough to keep up. ??? Quick attack makes the user almost invisible according to the move description. I don't think Blanka can react that fast. 5. Pikachu has fought legendaries and is a bit inconsistent, yes, but Blanka was trained by Dan which definitely hurts his abilities and Pikachu has way more combat experience. 6. Iron tail is coated with steel and can split boulders. I think that's strong enough to crack open his head and/or cause bad brain and skull damage. 7. Because Blanka eats and survives eels he is immune to actual lightning. .....T-T..... C. Viper disproves that. Honestly, the message I get from this is that: This is character(Pikachu) from this universe(Pokemon) so it cant possibly beat character(blanka) from this universe(Street Fighter, who aren't very deadly save for a few like Akuma). It's a completely idiotic fallacy. Feel free to agree or leave your counter arguments to mine below.
  22. After catching guzzlord in resolution cave, I made my way out. After a few encounters, I ran into a dugtrio with dark skin and blue noses and comprehension dawned on me. I wittled it down with extreme care and it called for help but to no avail. I realized that it would call other dugtrio with earthquake and got worried. I swords danced my decidueye to take out any others but unfortunately the shiny called for help again and was faster. I debated using my master ball but didn't cuz I was saving it for necrozma. The shiny used earthquake and knocked out its partner, but since I aimed at the partner and it was gone it targeted the shiny. Leaf blade critted, as decidueye wanted compliments. T-T Oh well. I'm actually pretty lucky when it comes to wild shinies (3 (rattata, budew, and growlithe) wild in my lifetime, not counting red gyarados or dugtrio and 2 bred (froakie and honedge)) so my luck came around. I'm still so sad though :'( Edit: @SJMistery Nah, but thanks for the kind offer. :) It's sad, but it's really not that big of a deal.
