  1. oh really? im a middle kid but my older sis passed and my younger has always been more mature, serious and orderly than i am - not a hard accomplishment, mind you - so i don't know where i feel like id fit in on the grand sibling scale of responsibility with the broom as my sword and the roomba as my loyal steed, i will charge into cleaning duty with all the esteem for my chore it deserves.
  2. sleep? your insect question fucked me up a bit Virid, I read it on the train before and i wanna say eyed elater or praying mantis but I really really feel like im forgetting something and since that something supposedly is my favorite insect i dont know how i could have forgotten it in the first place. may be im just tired if you could go to sleep and wake up again in 100 years, unaged, would you? and in that case, when would you do it? caution: unaged doesn't mean rejuvenated
  3. it's also like 4:45 in India so maybe not looks like they left the clean-up to us, TRHStatement
  4. fuck me sideways im finally home and everything is pain Dhan, 'cause i didn't recognize your with the new icon
  5. i'm heading out now, gonna visit homegal after work so if you don't see me in another 20 hours no need for national panic or organized searched im probably gonna be on a cold floor with no blankets BMIC sounds like a rapper. drop us a verse micky
  6. oooh spanish. if you had one night more i could do it for ya, but i gotta work early tomorrow blegh ok dhan, now it gotta be late for ya indians – time for one more?
  7. I don't trust myself to make big decisions for all the people, so I'd probably just do something small. Harsher punishments for sexual predators is what I'd go with at the moment; it's amazing what they get away with to little or no consequence. Just read an article in today's metro, a social worker – and previously convicted sexual harasser – trying to bring already disadvantaged girls to his cottage to molest them. He gets a slightly reduced salary for 30 days, but gets to keep his job. So I just brought my homegal and my sister pepper spray :c if you could get away with punching a person in the face to no personal consequence, who'd you choose? hard mode for americans: not donald trump
  8. Halloween is just wonderful all around thank you very much Spine, for fucks sake, study. Juu is next
  9. I've opened the gates of hell; weep, Viridescent, as Mahabharata gets listed in the new Epics section straight above Naruto and as the philosophical, insightful humor of Calvin and Hobbes has to share spotlight with the slapstick of Gintama. And since you practically asked for it, a Chinese one Collapse of the world as we know it code
  10. sure am. some part of me is like, weirdly fascinated that I spend like an hour a day in a "predict the next person to post"-thread, drinking cheap cider and trying to work. Dhan, still awake? come talk bedsheets with me
  11. i realize this thread just got awakened from the dead by Ermac here, new and already spreading god's gospel to us all, but read the first issue; can't say the comic itself was quite my style, but I think posts like this are the best posts; country trivia that I could have lived my whole life without knowing. Thanks to you a hundred people know that Donald Duck was widely popular in Italy, and for what reasons. It's just very neat to me, thank you but Donald is actually the most popular character worldwide, and has been so since 1938; Mickey's just the face because he was the first one to reach fame. there has been more movies about DD than any other disney character, and he's saved Disney from bankruptcy more than once. i had like this huge book of dd comics as a kid with his entire american history listed, like the donald duck bible. at some point walt was supposed make one movie about mickey mouse, but instead made three about dd and just went like "ok, you're gonna be retired if you keep eating my time"
  12. you're absolutely correct. spine, i see you, go away. TRHStatement is up
  13. But... I did answer. but if you simply deemed that an unsatisfactory (because let's face it, it kind of was) answer, then: I don't think there's a definite source of long-term resolution, just a list of things that make habit-making easier. Telling people your goal. Setting realistic short-time goals. Keeping track of your progress, and rewarding yourself for it, without inflicting punishment for failures. Like, at the bottom of it all, it's just a matter of making a habit and sticking to it; they say it two-three weeks of hard work to do this, but after those weeks it's easier to just roll on. And then there's callings. Things you just have to do. I don't have a logical explanation for them, but I get them a lot, haha. I think there just are things that resound with our subconscious, and that different people are drawn to different things; some people have things they just have to buy, study or explore. edit: I've made so many post edits in this thread now that my contributions are merely a frayed shadow of what they used to be... But yes, I'm interested in Indian history & governance! I watched 15 min that Bose documentary already, before I came to the conclusion that, hm, I might need subtitles for this. Now downloading a version that has them. Not to dismiss your urge to read, normally that'd be my first course of action, but seeing as I've never been to India it's easier to get the feeling of the of the situation through visual media.
  14. mangos and I are alright. were mangos a person, we'd go out having gross sugary cocktails with mutual friends, maybe even go see star wars together, provided we couldn't find anyone else to go with. i can't however say that we'd have the relationship you'd have - i wouldn't send mango's wife anonymous "yOu DOnT DeSERVe him biTcH", nor collect his trash, smell his sweaty t-shirts nor go through every one of his exes instagrams in hopes in finding pictures. aside from that metaphor i should add that mangos aren't native where i live, so they're hella expensive (200 rupee each, converted to your currency, a bit cheaper when they're in season) and thus rarely eaten. plus i eat them even less because i try not to eat so much of things that need to cross an ocean to get here are we still friends, dhan
  15. i love how the word "heathen" gets thrown around like laundry in here. especially from you viri; how can you accuse of being ungodly when you don't even eat pizza? i can't imagine any higher spirit getting in touch with a soul so barren of esprit that they don't eat pizza. meanwhile any fruit on a pizza in a religious sense could only be compared to some perverse martyrdom; jesus would need to die at least four times more if he wanted to atone for pineapple pizzas. also: 2 user(s) are reading this topic Halloween*, Google (1) of all conversations we had in here, now's when you drop in, Googlebot? Google is next
  16. 8/10. I like this kind of out-of-context humor, and I especially like the concept of having something vaguely funny as an avatar, but the cropping drags it down.
  17. im glad im not the only one in for some xenophilic tentacle action our universe is so incredibly vast; so all kinds. civilizations, jungles, you name it. however, it think humanity follows a rather narrow line of thought imagining it; using only a basic of our own biology and measure of intelligence. i'm skeptical to E.T, I think we'd need to go more outside the box as for what constitutes as "intelligent life". Also, a fucking ton of microbiological life, perhaps even on our neighboring planets. in response to all the immigration/refugee politics rising now, if your country truly and utterly went to shit, what would you do?
  18. this is the least sexy food war ever, and i dont know if i should be more appealed by what TRHStatement would put on a pizza or the fact Viri doesn't eat pizza (?) or that Micky doesn't eat mangos this place is the fucking twilight zone. right back at ya, BlueMoonIceCream
  19. I have been mulling about posting here again for a while now, but I keep pushing it up; "I have better things to do than spending an hour writing about books" – until Cool Girl made another book thread, with shorter reviews, which renewed my zeal. So today, ladies, gentlemen, people of non binary gender and people that put pineapple on their pizzas, it's time to slither deeper down the rotting tombs of civilization, tomes either praised to the heavens or burned to hell by religious fanatics. Love it, hate it, disregard it: it's manga time. I think they should get a graphic novel category Oyasumi PunPun concerning the sexual themes and your rules; whenever it comes up, the point is never the sex itself, it's the feelings and culture surrounding it. if anything the violence should be a bigger issue. Otoyomegatari Pluto so you don't have to redo the code for sample images, here's the code for all of them to copypaste into bbc code mode. with "submitted by" included c:
  20. yup yup. i'm surprised we're even tied, i thought common sense hatred for pineapple pizza was more widespread. i still think viri or dhan is gonna pop in soon and be like "no, no pineapple, we put mango on our pizza"
  21. i mean objectively i have questionable taste in pizza toppings as well but pineapple is like, cascading caramel syrup over it. we're 50/50 on this now, dhan or viri?
  22. spine you twisted fuck theres children on this website they dont need to hear about your pizza perversions praise the lord micky comere, let's have a prayer circle for these heathens to return them to the light
  23. holy shit what a fucking cute intro. happy belated birthday!! cain is fucking adorable yes.
  24. there's a special place in hell for people that put pineapple on their pizzas. it goes like, bingbing welcome to circle six: people that make mlp sex dolls, people that listen to toby keith, and people that put pineapple on their pizzas enjoy your fucking stay so try again, TRHStatement
  25. Mhm, you said that before, but then you asked what we thought of governance and how the world is being run, so I thought this thread was fair game. Anyway, I apologize for bringing it up again. Wikipedia says Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: The Forgotten Hero has a great soundtrack, so I'll see if I can find it subtitled.
