[IC] Myriad AoW Chapter 1 - Rise from the Cinders
IntSys replied to Notus's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Bargus "Bodyguard task? I'm fine with that." Bargus added onto Gabriel's suggestion. It was a better idea than whatever he had in mind. It looked like the mission won't be nearly as boring as he thought. He patiently wait for whatever that was going to take him to Shadow Veil. "This Gabriel boy sure is weird, so keen on getting knowledge, couldn't he go to one of the many libraries around? Must be a desperate fellow...I wonder what he's looking for. Hm, asking this probably won't do much."- 424 replies

If you could make your own mega evolution...

Mega Hariyama Type: Fighting Ability: Thick Fat HP: 144 Atk: 120 -> 140 (+20) Def: 60 -> 100 (+40) Sp. Atk: 40 -> 40 (+0) Sp. Def: 60 -> 100 (+40) Speed: 50 -> 50 (+0) BST: 474 -> 574 Hariyama takes back the metagame by storm! With its superb bulk along with Thick Fat, it can easily find an opportunity to Bulk Up, or even run a RestTalk set! That said, it still faces problems against Wallbreakers, and it gets worn down easily, too. Words just aren't enough, so here are some notable calculations: OU UU Sample Sets: KING OF THE RING (Bulky Attacker, Catch-All Counter Set) I SLEEP ON YOUR CORPSE (RestTalk Mono-Attacker) -

I actually put 137 Attack. This is really how much it sucks. As for the new MEGA times 2 Bibarel, let me add this to Ceph's reply: Anything with Sturdy, Mega Pinsir running Feint, and the plethora of powerful Extreme Speed users. With defenses of such caliber, it gets 2HKO'd by Adamant Excadrill's Rapid Spin! 252+ Atk Mold Breaker Excadrill Rapid Spin vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Bibarel: 153-181 (73.5 - 87%) -- guaranteed 2HKO -
I have an uncontrollable urge to pick my nose occasionally. I fart a lot and it smells horrible to people.

[IC] Myriad AoW Chapter 1 - Rise from the Cinders

Bargus "Count me in, I'm here to the very end!" Bargus said, loudly. He was clearly not the type to partake in Search and Destroy missions, but he was also not the type to chicken out simply because of a mission he didn't excel at. With that said, there was still an ounce of disappointment in his heart... Shadow Veil...glad to have a chance to return there again. I know its streets like the back of my hand, but the impression I've given would probably put me to the cleanup crew. Darn shame.- 424 replies

Alright, gotcha. I'll fix that one tidbit to make it more acceptable. Thanks for the heads up. "He looked around, memorizing the looks of each and every single one of his teammates. There was something unusual about the "Bom" woman, but then again, everyone here was unusual one way or another, so he paid it no mind." This is the tweaked version. In my opinion, it's better than before.

Bargus' a demon, so at least I can put some "suspicion notes" on that, right? I even brushed it off almost completely by leaving it as "Not-Human". If that's not okay, I'll just edit that out. Sorry for any inconvenience.

[IC] Myriad AoW Chapter 1 - Rise from the Cinders

Bargus "Sure, sure." Bargus replied to the half-demon, shaking it off like a joke. What a runt, acting cocky before me, Bargus? Sigh, I'll let you off the hook this time. It seemed that the half-demon was a sword-wielder...precisely why he didn't really fear her. He was trained to be the bane of swords, and this axe is the proof of it, smashing weak swords and dropping strong swords. Those who think they are superior to him simply because they have a more "elegant" weapon will pay dearly should they ever fight against him.- 424 replies

Not even giving it HP boosts (Breaking the Mega rule there, kinda) and sacrificing almost all of its Special Attack can save it! -

Bargus The cyborg waved at Bargus with a smile. "I can tell we're going to have a splendid time!" He replied to the cyborg, ending with a generous laugh. He then turned back to Vermillio. "I must say, I miss the battlefields a bit, the days when this axe sank into living flesh. It's in my blood after all! Glad to see an opportunity to put it back to good use again." He drew the axe from his armor's back-strap, twirling it a bit before putting it back again. He looked around, memorizing the looks of each and every single one of his teammates. There was something unusual about the "Bom" woman, but then again, everyone here was unusual one way or another, so he paid it no mind.- 424 replies

Really, it goes by your definition of "down". Tai did not fight on because it's actually silly and ridiculous to use the legs to continue the fight, and it would be awkward as well, unable to dish out enough damage to finish Mommo off. That said, Tai was dead meat as well floating on the surface, not really capable of doing much aside from paddling himself around with the two legs. Tai and Mommo went down really close to each other, so really, I wouldn't dare to say which of us actually "went down" first. I'm still inclined to give Mommo the win, though. She deserved it after putting up with the shenanigans Tai had.- 317 replies

Here's my take, on PULSE Pokemon! PULSE Tangrowth - HP: 240 Evolved from Tangrowth Weakness: Fire Resistance: Water Ability: Ensnare - Prevents the opponent from playing any Supporter card as long as PULSE Tangrowth is in play. Wrap - 80 The opponent's active Pokemon cannot retreat unless PULSE Tangrowth has been defeated. Nature's Wrath - 150+ Flip a coin, if head, this attack applies 50 damage to all of the opponent's benched Pokemon. PULSE Pokemon cannot retreat once they become active. PULSE Swalot - HP: 200 Evolved from Swalot Weakness: Psychic Resistance: Fighting Ability: Pollution - If the opposing Pokemon is poisoned, it must put 5 damage counters instead of 1 every turn (50 damage instead of 10). Toxic - 70 The opponent's active Pokemon is now Poisoned. Sludge Wave - 150 The opponent is now poisoned. Flip a coin, if head, remove all of the attacked Pokemon's attached Energy Cards. PULSE Pokemon cannot retreat once they become active. Reference of power: Mega Evolutions. Tinkered to be a bit stronger due to the complex method of evolution.

Bargus Bargus noticed the kid's enthusiastic introduction. "Outgoing people are the best, easy to talk with and really gets the mood going!" He thought to himself and smiled a bit, only to frown at the latter introductions. The many words suppressed by seemingly plain sentences...he disliked working with such figures, these were people that would abandon their allies when things go south, and the people that believe the end justifies the means, and will barely ever cooperate with teammates. He can't really say anything, though. Whatever mess of a group that involves spies and assassins don't get to start off with any decent cooperation... At least, Vermillio was trying to lighten up the mood... "It's a pleasure to work with such fine people, may we have great success, together!" Bargus said, loudly, emphasizing on the "together". Despite having to work with a group where only one other person is somewhat friendly, he tried his best to make the scene lively.- 424 replies

[IC] TTG Chapter 2: Lust
IntSys replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Supernova VS Mobile Suit Mommo "Where do you think you're going?" Tai quickly gave chase to the descending giant, with his jets put to full use to send him flying downwards into the waters. The giant discarded tons of trash along with a water grenade, setting the grenade off with a blast. Unfortunately for them, the blazes aren't something to be simply quelled by mere splashes of water...it would take a sea of them! When the giant landed in the waters, he sighed. He dived straight into the sea, the flames came in contact with the waters, creating a massive amount of steam, forming a tropical storm overhead. The mech completely cooled down...and permanently. The giant was at melee range...further disarmed and was an easy target... He smiled. The fight was over. He let the buoyancy carry him up and to the stormy surface. The side-effects of using the technique was breaking down everything beyond repair, except for basic melee abilities. The raindrops tapped on the surface of his mech, at first gently, but then it gets more and more ferocious. He did not care, though. It was an amazing fight, he thought he did well enough considering the odds he was up against. "Well played." -

Bargus, City of the Thousand Races, near the Gate Square - 11:00 AM Bargus, while arrogant himself, knew his match when he sees one. Having heard of his abilities, he would not dare to challenge his place. He stood up from his bench, that poor thing seemed like it was crackling out of joy when the demonic mass departed from it. [IC] TTG Chapter 2: Lust
IntSys replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Supernova VS Mobile Suit Mommo The cluster bomb destroyed Tai's right hand, unleashing another jet of flames. "Our last stand..." "I'm braver than you gave me credit for!" Tai stuck both jets of flames from his arms into his chest, easily done due to the damage caused by the bullets. The Fire Shield system in his chest went awry, releasing a huge amount of flames. Last time he tried this technique, the magnetic swordsman had no choice but to back away from him...they did, however, find a way to break through the wild storm of flames. The flames formed a greater shield than the one that used to cover Tai, expanding rapidly, looking just like an actual supernova from afar. The huge amount of fireballs easily absorbed the grenades' explosions and swallowed the rockets completely. With the distance between Tai and the giant shrinking, it may seem that the giant's going to be swallowed by the storm of fire. He pulled out his arms, which immediately became uncontrollable machine guns of flames. He unleashed the barrage of fireballs at the giant as his quickly approaches them, covering the giant's dodging options. Without the system keeping itself in check and the pre-done damage, the heat in Tai's mech quickly rose. If the giant manages to avoid Tai's final assault, they would've pretty much won. Heat Capacity: 80/150 (+60 per post) [OOC: Don't worry, there's still plenty of space to talk about. If I recall correctly, Lexi didn't yell at me for playing this Last Resort card, but that might just be her overlooking my move.] -

...apologies, I might have stepped out of line this time. I'll be fixing quite a bit of things in the IC post... Very well, I'll: 1) Give a reasonable avoiding movement to the Water Grenades 2) Continue the fight for a more logical solution. With that said, I'll get to work.- 317 replies
