Chickens are wimps, they'd be scared by just about anything. Stupid they may be, but all being shoved in a tight, unfamiliar place would definitely freak them out
What I meant is, if you grab a farm hous and keep it... I dunno, tied or otherwise restrained in your house, it will maybe fail to understand your intentions, but it WILL get scared and suffer. Fear is the most basic instinct in nature after all.
