  1. I'd probably be that one youngster in the Grand Hall who has a team made entirely of shiny Squirtles/their evolutions. If I were in a universe like this, there would be no way my team would be serious, so why not make a Meme team. And somehow have the ability to Mega Evolve my Pokemon.

If I were really in Reborn, I'd probably abandon the city after the first terrorist attach though.

  2. Lord Magnezone was a key part for be beating this gyms, and I'll throw out a few other ideas though. My Slyveon ended up being very useful for many of the battles, as she was able to tank most of the fairy moves. If you can prevent the field from changing, fire type moves are Super Effective on two(?) of the Pokemon. I also used Perish Song on the Ace, which was a super cheap strategy, but worked.

  3. I don't think Ditto is considered a "good" Pokemon, as it usually takes a turn to set up and has lower stats that other Pokemon. Plus, it usually has severely reduced PPs so using moves can be out of the question.

  4. It was between Diamond and Pearl and Heart Gold and Soul Silver for me, but having follower Pokemon wins out every time. If Reborn were here, that would be a close second, but Reborn has broken my spirit so many times it is more of a love hate relationship. Like saying your favorite game is Dark Souls.

  5. I'm thinking about switching out my Draug ($ Star) with my new Seliph (5 Star). Does anyone know if this is my mistake, and that Sleiph is terrible or something. The team they are working with is a Peri, Olivia, and Setsuna, if that helps.

What is up with Fire Emblem and blue haired protagonists by the way?

I'm feeling type happy today, so here's something I haven't seen yet on this game.

    Fire Emblem!~ Heroes!~ ...Review

Dang, that was pretty in depth. I have to agree with most of your points, the game does feel small but not too small, and it is still doable without handing over a massive amount of money. The only point I don't agree with is the story. (Rant Ahead.) I have to say that the plot to this is kind of shameful coming from Nintendo. True, it is a mobile game and shouldn't be too deep since it is meant for all players, but sometimes the script feels so laughable it hurts. It almost feels like they hired someone whose never played a Fire Emblem game to write it. I suppose going with the classic good guys versus bad guys plot line is a safe bet, but mix it up a little. I was super disconnected for the majority of my play time story wise. It's a shame, since most of the characters still feel like themselves, which only serves to bolster my confusion. So far, the only clever line was from the recent addition in which the Sacred Stones characters debated about dirty rumors that have surrounded them for years.

  7. Something kind of glorious happened today when I did a five character roll. I received my first five star character in the form of Selph, and another four star Setsuna (which is nice since she is one of my main characters.) The beautiful part was when I took the two green units available, I got not one, but two Bartes. I don't know what the chances of that are, but they must be kind of crazy.

    Seliph (Five Stars)

    Setsuna (4 Stars)

    F Corrin (3 Star)

    Barte (3 Star) X2

Is Seliph any good, by the way? I'm not sure if this clone of Marth is worth grinding up, or are any five star units worth it.

  8. While I'm ecstatic to see Eirka and Ephraim, I was hoping they'd add more Sacred Stones characters. I need more Dozla and Joshua in my life.

And while I'm at it, can we take a moment to talk about Seliph? At first glance, I didn't realize he was his own character and not a different form of Marth, which makes me ask "How the hell did no committee point out the similarities between them?"

Saving up for a full 20 orb pull, which might take a bit...

If any of your pokemon are overlevelled you can use Common Candy to reduce its level so definitely stock up on those.

Also, getting that Espurr in Peridot ward could be useful, since Espurr is quite fast.

Common candies are amazing in Reborn, and will become a staple in your Pokemon's diet.

Also make sure you choose the gender of your Espurr wisely. Male is more of a support role, using different screens to protect its allies while female is a special attacker.

  10. Out of curiosity, do you guys have any suggestions for my "main" team(s)? Chapter nine has been kind of brutal for me, so I'm currently trying to grind up some of my units, but would rather not waste any time on any less useful characters.

    My "main" units include;

    -Eliwood (4-Star)

    -Peri (4-Star)

    -Setsuna (4-Star)

    -Barte (4-Star)

    -Ogma (4-Star)

    - Olivia (4-Star, rarely used)

    -Draug (4-Star)

    -Awakening Tiki (4-Star)

    -Fae (4-Star)

    -Henry (3-Star)

    -Gwyndolyn (3-Star, level 22)

-Serra (3-Star, only healer I use)

    -Est (3-Star)

    -Chereche (3-Star)

It's pretty obvious I'm using too many units, but I still can't tell whose good and whose bad...

In episode 16, the key was changed to be given out by the old hotel owner in Peridot Ward.

Good to know, thanks! I haven't done a full play though of EP 16 yet, so I was clueless.

  12. Ah, alright. You should be able to help this guy. He requires a key that allows you to access the inner parts of the power plant. As I recall, the key can be found...

    In the waste lands somewhere.

I'm not 100% sure on the location, but you can complete this quest. Plus this also gives you access to the ability to evolve a certain Pokemon...
