I don't know if someone's already mentioned this but if you have the latest version of reborn, The gastly event is still there but now gives a misdreavous. Gastly is no longer available right now. (Maybe post/late game *Fingers crossed*) Anywho, welcome to the forums, I hope you enjoy your time here, I'll see you around

Does anybody else ditch their starter in these games?

I always drop my starter because I find a more interesting pokemon or switched to a ghost mono half way through.. I just get bored of them. If I had a protean Greninja then I would probably keep it on my team. (Only reason I didn't in Gen 6 is because, as I said, I randomly switched to a ghost mono around the 6th gym) -
