    Today a speaker in one of my classes talked about their success in terms of how many cars they owned and people collectively applauded that. I felt like all of the passion I had for what I was studying disappeared as I realized how not for me that kind of career is... now I'm having an existensial crisis with only a year and a half until graduation. Oh my god.

      No one said you had to spend your wealth on materialistic garbage like cars. You could use your wealth to fund volunteer organizations, or open one yourself if you want to be more hands-on.

    I still have to get used to having only one usable hand, and I find that disconcerting especially when I consider that I may never have full use of both hands again. Truthfully, this sucks.
