The file you've attached is a backup save from before fighting Blake. If you upload the game.rxdata file from the same folder where you found that I can fix it for you without you losing progress.

You don't need to be up to Ciel to update to E16. The stage of the game you're up to will be pretty much the same, however there will be some extra things and lots of bug fixes, so I'd recommend updating now.

You shouldn't need to change any of the back up saves (which are the numbered ones)?
Could you give a bit more detail on what the problem with replacing is because currently I'm not sure what the issue is.

Njab's point was that there is nothing we can do to fix corruption. Backups were included as a way to combat corruption and there is nothing we can do about corruption except for recommending back ups.

Download the file I gave you and replace the one that you uploaded in the place where you initially found it. Then it should work for you.

Not sure how to open it, or where to find the key to do so. We can't really do anything without your save file. Why is the 0.49MBs a problem? (i.e. is it that the website won't let you upload that or that that file is too large for your internet upload or something?)
