Decided to go with the special set! Seems to work well thus far: Thunderbolt/Grass Knot/Flamethrower/Acid Spray Team seems just about finalized! Greninja (Protean): Dark Pulse/Hydro Pump/Grass Knot/Extrasensory Dragalge (Adaptability): Hydro Pump/Sludge Bomb/Dragon Pulse/Toxic Scrafty (Moxie): Dragon Dance/Drain Punch/Ice Punch/Crunch Golurk (No Guard): Hammer Arm/Earthquake/Rock Tomb/Phantom Force Arcanine (Flash Fire): Flare Blitz/ExtremeSpeed/Crunch/Outrage Eelektross (Levitate): Thunderbolt/Grass Knot/Flamethrower/Acid Spray Last question: Which ability is better for Golurk? Iron Fist powers up Shadow Punch and Hammer Arm, while No Guard ensures Dynamic Punch always hits.

So far Dragon Dance has been useful for the speed boost, and Drain Punch has been good for maintaining its bulk. That said, if (once episode 16 comes around) I find myself lacking power I'll probably replace it with HJK. Has anyone used Eelektross? I know its attack is the higher stat, but its special move pool is pretty versatile. Definitely want it to have Flamethrower and Grass Knot, but as for STAB I'm not sure whether to mixed and pick Wild Charge and Crunch/Brick Break or go full Special and pick Thunderbolt and Acid Spray. Currently have 3 physical attackers (Arcanine, Scrafty, Golurk) and 2 special attackers (Greninja, Dragalge).

The location guide says Ametrine Mountain (Good Rod) Does that mean any body of water in Ametrine, or somewhere in particular? So far I haven't had much luck in finding one, only Qwilfish and Remoraid

Thanks everyone for the feedback! So I got a Dragalge with Hydro Pump/Sludge Bomb/Dragon Pulse/Toxic (filler?) And Helia you were right! It's absurdly good! I'll definitely keep it on my team. With some reevaluation I have Dragalge as well as: Greninja with Hydro Pump/Dark Pulse/Grass Knot/Extrasensory Arcanine with Flare Blitz/Extreme Speed/Outrage/Crunch Golurk(?) with EQ/Hammer Arm/Rock Tomb/Phantom Force I'd like to keep my Golurk but I'm not sure which ability to go for. Currently it has No Guard, and I wasn't sure whether to go with No Guard + Dynamic Punch or Iron Fist + Hammer Arm + Shadow Punch Alternatively, I could switch it out for mamoswine. For the last two slots, I'm thinking an Electric type and a Fighting type. Has anybody used Eelektross? I was originally considering Ampharos but Eelektross has the appeal of being a mixed attacker (and Levitate!) And then for Fighting type I currently have Primeape (Close Combat/Low Kick/Assurance/Rock Tomb), but may switch him out. Was originally thinking Breloom (Spore/Bulk Up/Rock Tomb/Mach Punch) but sadly it's not available. Any recommendations? Conkeldurr/Scrafty came to mind.

Growlithe is the MVP of shelley's gym. Flame Burst converts the field from forest to fiery field, which not only powers up your attacks but also damages non fire types in the process, it's incredibly useful.

Rock Tomb was incredibly useful for me. First I put out Golurk against Togekiss to avoid the Thunderwave, tanked an Air Slash then hit it with Rock Tomb, repeated Rock Tomb a few times as she kept using up her potions. Archeops was a bit tricky as it hits really hard with acrobatics, the trick was to bait it into using a weaker move as it is Choiced (Scarf I think). I sent out avalugg when she sent out Archeops so that it would use Rock Slide, which Golurk tanked on the switch, then proceeded to 2HKO w/ Rock Tomb. Then Noivern was up, to which I put in Bouffalant, which was able to hit it with one Rock Tomb before getting 2HKOd. Arcanine then finished it off with Outrage, thanks to the speed reduction from Rock Tomb. She sent out Gliscor, KOed Arcanine (as it was locked into Outrage), then I put in Greninja, which OHKOed with Hydro Pump. Talonflame was next, Greninja OHKOed with Surf. Finally the Altaria. I sent out Avalugg thinking I could use Avalanche, but Hyper Voice OHKOed (it's only level 64). Then put in Primeape so I could heal up Golurk. Had Greninja use Extrasensory to take out like 25% of its HP before getting OHKOed by Hyper Voice. Then Golurk finished it off with Rock Tomb and Earthquake. Was a pretty tough battle, had to give it a couple tries so I could see the extent of her team, as well as to make sure Togekiss didn't flinch me twice in a row. Where did you get ice beam???

Trying to get a Dragalge with the following moveset: Dragon Pulse Hydro Pump Sludge Bomb/Sludge Wave Thunderbolt So I was trying to get Thunderbolt on my Skrelp, so I bred a female Skrelp with a male Stunfisk (which knew Thunderbolt, having learned it at level 45), and the resulting Skrelp did not have Thunderbolt. Is this a bug or am I just doing something wrong?

The lady can be found in the Obsidia Pokemon Center Edit: Found him! Pretty easy to find. The gift is pretty handy, especially since it's probably meant for early game.

What are some good moves for Typhlosion? Currently I have one with standard level up moves: Eruption Flame Charge Lava Plume Rollout I'm not really interested in breeding then re-training another one to get Extrasensory/Wild Charge, so if you have other suggestions that would be great.
