  1. This sounds like they are a power role as if he should not be lynched at all. All the power roles are dead so this is moot. This seems like a self preservation technique to seem like they are important to keep around (ie a power role for town). - Saying they are a justified confirmed townie from the psych scan. This was not during night 1 however so this also seems like giving themselves a pass from getting lynched here. I'm not sure if I could give this a "good chance they are town bc scanned" scenario because of how the psychologist works, so I don't want to read too much into the mechanics in this situation. With regards to his other posts, what do you think of them? I feel like Paul wouldn't have done such a strategy to seem like they're important to keep around. I haven't really seen anyone pull off such an action, not did he have any incentive to do so because he wasn't at risk of being lynched. On the other hand, treating themselves as a justified confirmed townie is sending me mixed signals. On one hand, it seems to be a way of lessening the lynch pool, but at the same time, I don't think it's really fit of him to be clear simply for that because there are two opportunities for him to have performed the mafia kill, thus, avoiding the psychologist' visit.
  2. What do you mean by this? Are you suggesting that if they were both mafia, they would have missed the factional kill? I believe Bok voted me as a form of retaliation. He didn't have any good answer to my suspicion on him, so he pushed me, so that he could "justify" his suspicion on Cataline and me.
  3. @Finalbeta Thank you for volunteering! As Bean answered, applying for a Juror is done once a game opens sign-ups. If you wish to be a Juror for a particular game, please do so in its official thread. Stay tuned!
  4. What do you mean by make you and Andracass look like scum? I never did that. You were one of my primary suspects before the flip, but I was convinced that Andracass was town while I was interacting with her. My huge gripes with her was that she was tunneling me for reasons such as not suspecting her and apparently trying to appeal to people (which are both bogus), but even if I tried to explain it, she never tried to engage nor see reason. The assumption that Cass would try to abandon a safe position and be creative and reckless in making use of her role is wrong. It's largely based on the flavor text. Flavor texts reveal information such as who got killed by what on a case-to-case, host-by-host basis and it's decidedly not the same in all bases that such information is revealed. I don't think she banked on that. And for two good reasons for bolded portion: (1) I don't think she's self-sacrificial. If she were, why did she not hide behind me to prove her point on the other night? and (2) I'm town, so she couldn't have possibly hid behind me. Besides, under what basis am I scum other than an assumption made by a visit? I feel such action is simply arbitrary and it's going to make us lose. I assume scum is two out of Purplecicada, Zero Passion, and Paul.
  5. A faint clap of thunder
    Clouded skies
    Perhaps rain comes
If so, will you stay here with me?

  6. @andracass First of all, you should read things more carefully. NGL I'm frustrated with how people try to twist my own words to their own convenience. Primarily I'm townreading you for just happening to be Bean's N1 investigation. If we go by the chances of you committing a kill as mafia, the chances are effectively so lower that you have to be virtually lucky to commit the kill on that night. I see no reason for Bean to lie about that. Second, the off-hand possibility of you being mafia even with that investigation does exist and you're reasonably scummy for different reasons. The reason why I disregard that is that I feel like you're openly wolfing. I've seen such behavior twice in different games and both times, it ended up being someone who is town. As for your second paragraph, did you want me to not see reason and just tunnel you for no good reasons despite seeing that you probably weren't mafia from rereading? I did suspect Bean and Cat because they had really bad votes if you look at their reasons and why they did so; nevertheless, it wasn't enough grounds for me to want to lynch them given their actions. On your third paragraph, I don't like how you're simplifying my reasons for reading them as so and disregarding everything else I said. The reason why there is a difference between Sailboat and Nicki is their personality and playstyle; I've played enough with Nicki to feel like her posts don't come from a scum perspective and though it may be a weak reason, I find it valuable because that's how I understand her. Sailboat, on the other hand, had reasonably cryptic posts, but he does this as either alignment and the way he doesn't give a follow-up to this and the way he spends most of his time spending analysis on roles and not giving even a speckle of observation is making me think he's scum. Reread their posts and you'll see exactly how different they are.
  7. @andracass Why is it jarring? I've given my reasons and that's taking into account actions, your behavior, and other people's behavior, and I feel that with all this, you are most likely town.
  8. So... after a little bit of rereading and rechecking, I find it difficult to come up with concrete reads on people because most have made some posts and actions that warrant attention, but I'll try to look past their intentions in making these posts. Reads: Psychic Bean Sheep - Kinda random, as always, but uncounterclaimed Psychologist, so more or less, confirmed town Paul25 - Apparently the N2 investigation target of Bean, I think he is town for reasons independent of that. I like his appearance in early D2 as an initiator and gave some level of contribution. I don't quite like his reasons for voting Cataline, but it feels natural coming from him. Others have noted how he made some mistakes in his analysis, but from the way he posts, I don't feel like he has any hidden agenda nor do I feel like he would outright make those mistakes as mafia to gain town credit (I believe it's called dumbtelling). Andracass - Cass has been the N1 target of Bean, so I'm inclined to believe she's town primarily for this and the chances of a coincidential same night kill are relatively lesser. I find her vote on me then a switch on Sailboat then a return to me last day suspicious because she never stated any reasons even a simple one liner while her D3 is... underwhelming and weird. Despite that, I'm inclined to think she's town because her reactions are natural and I don't think she'd say that she could look overly suspicious if she unvoted nor would she just say Lia's town as mafia. Nicki - Overall, she has been quite cryptic with her posting on D2 with trying to shade different players without really pursuing it or giving elaboration to it and it's pulling red flags to me; however, decidedly, her reason and timing for her vote on Cataline is decent, but my primary reason for lowering my suspicion on her is that this is far different from her typical scum game where she appears to be contributing by making repackaged summaries of how the day went and/or posting filler a lot more. ZeroPassion - ZeroPassion hasn't really made much noteworthy contributions in the game, but I feel that they probably wouldn't start a random vote as mafia on Day 1 and their response to it seemed natural. I also liked their observation on Sailboat. I don't have much to make a basis on reading them, but I think they're town, although lower than most other people. Walpurgis - As I noted in a previous read, she feels to be playing a very low profile from how she behaved in Day 1 to early Day 2. Going by her Day 2, she seems to have hard defended Bok and I'm inclined to think unfavorably of her for that. Aside from that though, I don't like how she shaded Nicki on that same day, but did not try to act on it or elaborate it further. I feel like their early D3 posts have a weird feeling from them and I don't like her vote on Nicki. It seems opportunistic and there isn't much justification given to it. Sailboat - Candy seemed towny and all from when they came in, but Sailboat's entry is weird after looking at it. The first thing they say into the game is talk about what they felt about specific roles and the D1 choice. Given Sailboat's playstyle, it could be excusable that he didn't give any reads or observations of the game, but I don't like how he spends more of the game trying to justify the vigilante or how he simply gave a cryptic comment on his reads but never gave a follow up on that at all. [Vote] Sailboat
  9. I've been relatively distracted by the start of the school year and other things, so I haven't had time to analyze, but I'm here now and will be rereading through Day 2 and give my input.
  10. Mixed emotions with first day of classes tomorrow

  11. @Cataline I'm sorry that it has come to this. I just hope that I was wrong on my read on you and you're scum all along. [Vote] Cataline
  12. First and second bolded: I acknowledge that you said both, however, despite saying that, you never tried to emulate that kind of action. Despite your prior posts, you did not have any intention of doing so or sharing your insights on anyone. All I recall so far is that you're merely tunneling on two people, yet never commented on what you thought about tje gamestate, the other players, and other things you can notice. This to me, looks like you're appearing to be contributing when you're not and simply trying to lay low. Third: You may have explained it, but your vote and its wording scream OMGUS no matter how you look at it. You also still haven't explained why you're using a coinflip when you can make a judgement for yourself and you have done nothing to convince me you are town. I think my suspicion on you is justified.
  13. Suspecting me for that is an assumption on your part. It's actually a tie now. @Alaris @Psychic Sheep @sailboat @andracass @purplecicada @ZeroPassion @Walpurgis @Paul25 @Cataline Because I don't want to die for opportunistic reasons nor do I want to compromise my reads for the sake of self-preservation, I urge you to vote Bok. Why should you do this? (1) He states on D1 that there's no one to defend or accuse because nobody has died yet, so there's no reason to lynch. Independently, it is suspicious because it's a wolfy way to have an excuse to not contribute anything. (2) However, in D2, when there have been already deaths, he still continues to do nothing. I'm fine with having a playful manner, however, his statement on D1 told us that he would contribute once there was more to go from, but he doesn't do that. (3) He instead only pops up later on the day and suspects me and Cat for no reason and decides to organize his decision via a coin flip. I don't think a town person would do that. If you really are town, you know whom you suspect more. (4) He gives his reason to Cataline. However, it's an opportunistic reason that he seems to have copied only from thoughts of other people. (5) He dodges my questions and my accusations. He appears to have no response to this and dodges it so that he can avoid heat. (6) He gives his reasons for suspecting me, but it's merely an OMGUS. There's no other reason to it. It's a retaliation and a vote that he casted because I caught him. I urge you to vote for Bok. [Vote] Bok Choi
  14. @Cataline What do you mean by scum voice of reason? I don't know what you're getting at here. You're suspecting me for not being suspicious of you? What do you mean by flipping the votes? You're basing your vote on luck? NGL I think you're town because this feels similar to how Candy behaved and was mislynched in Danganronpa Mafia, but you're not doing anything to convince me you're town. I urge you to rethink your decision. @Bok Choi Your reason for voting me is basically OMGUS because I voted you. You're not even responding to what I said about you. I'm more convinced you're mafia now.
  15. What do you mean by the bolded portion? Also, can you talk to us about that weird post that makes Cataline scummy? Sosobean is claiming Psychologist, not Hider.
  16. Mafia is a social deduction game though, so it's based on reading people and reasoning out from it. My read on Cataline is based on pure feel as I think that she's merely inexperienced with this kind of setup, hence, why she joined this game. As for Bok, you didn't read the continuing line on the first bolded portion while I've also said this: "his most recent vote is weird because there isn't any explanation and it lacks conviction from a town persona due to the way that it seems to be done by luck. This might change depending on his response." Going by your statement, why do you say "he looks town"?
  17. @Alaris Yes. It is important to notice how different their behavior is. I feel that Cataline may not have contributed much, but based on their posts, they give me a genuine town vibe, but not enough to place her as a high townread. On the other hand, as I've explained in my reads, I didn't like what Bok said on D1 as it seemed like a lazy attempt to not contribute and he never even gave a follow-up to that on D2. This is why I am scumreading him, along with his vote, which the way it was done is weird. I think to have a better hierarchy you should separate town in two categories: lock town (confirmed town) and town (based on personal judgement). I'm not defending her. It's simply that my suspicion of her lessened upon reevaluation of her past posts and the recent posts, tone-wise, are townie. She's currently townie to me, but still quite low in the list.
  18. Rereading Cass and her recent posts, I'm thinking more favorably of her. NGL a lot of the suspicion I had on her was because I expected much from her from a certain other game and disregarded the fact that she's still a new player and that her posting style in that game could have been different due to circumstances. I have yet to see enough of her to think she's town, but my suspicion on her has lowered for now. I also don't like the other voters on the wagon (Bean, Cataline) because both of them seem to be voting to bandwagon only. I'm thinking less favorably of them, but I can consider Cat's circumstances and still think she's town despite this vote. With that said, [Vote] Bok Choi for reasons I've stated in my reads and his most recent vote is weird because there isn't any explanation and it lacks conviction from a town persona due to the way that it seems to be done by luck. This might change depending on his response. @NickCrash Could we have an extension? I think there's much to be said before we settle this day tbh.
  19. @Bok Choi I meant, explain your reads. @sailboat It's just that the way you describe it is that the vigilante kill is random and thus, relies on probability. I don't really have much of a problem with vigilante as long as they don't shoot on a night where a lynch is yet to happen or shoot with little conviction.
  20. @sailboat I can't agree with this. Vigilante hitting the wrong targets is a negative impact. LYLO will arrive sooner than expected. 3 Maf + SK is not similar to this setup. Could you talk to us about your reads? Don't be vague please @andracass What do you mean by Lia might be right? @Bok Choi Why do you think so?
  21. @Walpurgis Define bland in the context. I think you misinterpreted the read. I didn't say that he would pull something like that as mafia; instead, I feel that it's a suspicious move they did unconsciously, not one with intent. I don't argue that it's normal for people to be playful or joking, but in Bok's case, he is suspicious particularly for doing so despite implying in the earlier statement that he could start things once someone dies and I don't see why he never said anything of what he thought about them. As for Andracass, I see your point about loosening up and all, but I don't really see why you should make it as an excuse for her actions. Besides, I gave other reasons independent on that, which was that she seemed to have a lack of motivation to solve the game and her posting seemed to be mostly reactant which had a lack of initiative. This is why I found her the most suspicious. On that note, your entire accusation on me based on Cass is pure assumption. Those things you describe haven't happened yet and it's only your imagination of how things would go. Your accusation is a reach.
  22. Both who died were Vanilla Town. None of them flipped Hider. I don't like your reads either. I don't like how you classify town and neutral in one place, but most of all, you don't even describe how someone "looks" town, not even giving any examples as to that. On the other hand, I don't like the way you scumread Andracass. It feels like a lame way to read her when you said she wanted to exploit it further. I don't how exploiting works in that case when it was more or less a joke vote.
  23. @Alaris I see. It seems you didn't understand my reads too well. On my read on Nicki, I never stated that she didn't contribute. I said that she contributed, but there's a lack of elaboration and while it is lacking, I feel it is genuine on her part. I then compared it with her metagame as mafia where I've observed that as mafia, she tries hard to appear contributory when all she contributes are things that have already been said in a better packaged post. Also, I dislike how you summarize my read on Bok in a flimsy manner. Read it carefully. I don't see why I should compare this to other games. Arguably, the only reason I'm using meta is as a means of gauging whether certain suspicious actions are possible actions they could use as town, but in Bok's case, I can't do so because I haven't played with Bok enough to know him too well, thus, I described my observations on him in this game accordingly. How am I classifying players based on my convenience? Define "flimsy" arguments. To me, it seems like you're attacking my reads for weak reasons through misrepresentation and it feels like you're motivated to say it's to my own convenience out of personal agenda.
