  1. Actually, there's 1 water move that INCREASES in power. SCALD. Wish you trained that Panpour now, didn't you? STAB Scald + Semipour's speed = Monster. But really flash fire is your friend.
  2. There's also never been a Normal type Elite 4. I hate Normal Types. They're ffin hard to beat. Looking at you, Norman and Lenora. Of all types I will always have the most trouble with Normal Types. I can work with most, thanks to secondary types, multiple weaknesses and that kind of thing.but I will set fire to the rain if there is gonna be a Pure Normal gym/elite 4.
  3. Actually Luna and Radomus were the ones I had the least problems with. Mostly beat them on the first try. The troublesome ones for me were actually Noel, Cain in Vanhanen Castle, Bennett before Serra and also before Luna, Charlotte and Blake. Had to redo these ones so many times.
  4. Oops, missed that one. And forgot Titania is still a thing.
  5. Well, the only ones I've actively seen are the Squirtle - Wartortle - Blastoise shinies which look pretty rad as TMNT. I hate the crimson Houndour - Houndoom one. Bred one by accident with quite good IV's but NOT gonna use it lol. Rainbow Rapidash, Black Stantler and Black meowth are pretty rad tho
  6. Since fire is mostly quite fragile and we're past Ice, Grass and Bug, having more than one on your team isn't that necessary. Personally I've done multiple normal Pokemon games without a fire type at all. Having a flying and a fighting type on the team covers more ground that fire. But hey, that's just my opinion.
  7. Well, Just got myself a Houndour with: Att 6 def 18 spatt 30 spdef 21 speed 28. Since Sp. Att and Speed are what I like my Houndoom with, I'll take it. Shame it's Adamant with early bird but that can be resolved quite fast On to Whimsicott! After some searching I found out I have a Nuzleaf with 30 Sp. Att, so he's gonna be daddy to two of my Pokemon, maybe even more.
  8. I was not aware of this. I thought it was some TM-breeding thing like Ninetales and Chandelure can. Since they can I was like: Sure it's possible.
  9. Something that would REALLY improve the gameplay is if the Daycare was next to a place that had a long road next to it, like I dunno, the train tracks from the Station to the Desert Gates?
  10. Well, breeding like a mofo in this joint. Apart from that Mudkip I've had a slight success on Houndour and that's about it... Can't seem to get good iv's on Cottonnee, and only had 1 Joltik as of now which also wasn't a success... But keep on trying! I have two decent Houndour together now so Let's hope for a good one so I can carry on.
  11. I was thinking he was an asshole by default, but that Florinia forced his ass to infiltrate team Meteor. No one would suspect a dick like him to be a spy.
  12. Actually considering Blake's team's speed, Swampert is out of commission before he can get an Earthquake off. Not even sure if he'd realize that you can break the field with an earthquake...
  13. Well, you can't go back to Route 1/ Reborn City until you've completed Episode 14.
  14. Wait, you had to actually beat the Garchomp on top of Pyrous mountain before? Dang. I'd still be there if that happened. And I found him to be quite funny at first, right until recently, when he was partnered up with Aya. Normally, Schadenfreude (German is the only language to describe in 1 word that you enjoy other people failing) has it's limits. Sure, walking past a ladder twice is still funny, then noticing the ladder and failing hard at reaching it still laughable, but when he walks by that ladder 8 FFIN TIMES I'm pretty much over it. I started talking to my screen after a while. The next episode where he took a left at Route 4, pretty much finish it and then return to take the right side almost made me cry. A little later when he is litterally 2 SQUARES AWAY from seeing the Calcenon gate, and then he goes like: "Oh, I'd better go and heal up my Pokemon" I was about to set fire to the rain. I personally would've went on with 2 Mons remaining, because continuing and maybe later fainting but knowing what's ahead (maybe a PokeCenter!) is better than having to walk all the way back. That's like reaching Vanhanen Castle but don't dare to go in. "Well, I know the road here now, better go back to Tanzan Cove to heal up my Pokemon!" Now, of course some things happen and some people could relate to it, but after having played through that part myself, clearing route 4 without any of my mons fainting and I have to put some questionmarks behind his ability in well, anything, from training to type matchups to actually knowing stuff about the game.... Seeing him in Charlotte's gym on that first puzzle... Did he not play Emerald? This is exactly the same puzzle as the Sootopolis gym! So yeah, I don't hate him, don't love him, and the funny part gets old quickly.
  15. Thanks for the help! I just bred myself a mudkip with the following IV's: att 19 def 18 sp att 0 sp def 21 spd 12. That's already a lot better than my Swampert lol. And I can work with that Docile nature for now
  16. By most beautiful areas you mean Luna?? You're not nick! You're Bennett!!
  17. There's no Legit way to get Electivire in episode 14. If you had found Elekid in an older Episode then it would've been possible. Link stones can be found as hidden items throughout the game. I have found 3 of them over spread out over everywhere. So no, you'll have to wait for a later episode to get Electivire.
  18. In 7th Street talk to your fellow Gang members, they'll help out finding Bennett. I'm not spoiling that. you'll see That'll change over time as you post more. Everyone starts out as a youngster as it's the first trainer class you run into in the main games.
  19. So, I'm not big when it comes to Breeding, but since there's still a while before episode 15 I want my team to have some good EV's. So, I was wondering if all of you could take a look at my team here, and tell me if the IV's are good and how I could improve their EV's. Please tell me which Pokemon have Good IV's/EV's and which have bad ones, and tips for breeding good ones Thanks in advance!
  20. So then you can pretty much catch every pokemon as long as you can figure out a backstory? I'm slightly confused. *Walking through tall grass*, "Oh look a dratini. It must've run away from his trainer. I'll take it with me." That kind of thing?
  21. *high five!* Same with my Raja, It litterally SLAYED Terra, surprisingly. Garchomp never saw what hit him.
  22. You make a valid point, sir, one cookie for you. Althought I hereby revoke your cookie as the first Pulse Eve built back in Ametrine was only meant to heal her sister, no evil deeds, and I'm pretty sure almost no one knew about it. Why would the Champ stop that? I do believe there has been absolutely zero mention of there being a champion in the story except for the Gym Guide.
  23. You already have it? Dang you're fast. I thought you only just got the Venom Badge...
  24. I have mentioned my love for Galvantula on numerous occasions. Why? It has amazing speed and special attack, and even the possibility to run as a physical attacker. Using compound eyes on it can also help you with moves such as Thunder and Bounce to have a higher chance of hitting your desired target. Electroball without paralyzing, 1hko'ing tough enemies like Malamar, Weavile, Jinx and Exeggutor, among other strong psychic types with just a Bug Buzz or Signal Beam, I'll take Galvantula over the others above. for President.
