Yes Trapinch was moved to the trade Pokemon in the forest before Spinel town.

Azumarill is now one of the 17 Mystery egg pokemon.

Both are good options yes, if you really want an Azumarill and haven't done the Mystery Egg yet you can go back to Episode 14 and you'll just get an Azurill.

Nidoking is great in terms of Poison and Ground type, and can even take a couple of hits. (obviously not a tank but still). but with sheer force nidoran male possible so early it'd be a crime not to try one out

[Unique Challenge Runs?]

So since I've been making steady progress in my Operation Monorun (still gonna take forever to complete but ya know), I was wondering what other challenge runs people have done of any Pokemon Game. I've done mono runs obviously, Nuzlockes, and Wonderlockes. I almost did a color run of Reborn, I might do that after Operation Monorun is complete

You're lacking Ice type. I recommend adding at least one of those because Dragon masters are coming up in the next couple of episodes, and yeah you have Azumarill but those battles will be hard and you'll likely need more than one type advantage. For Ice, Piloswine is always good, and my Beartic puts in work.

Edit: You have lots of Ice moves on your guys so thats good... but still STAB is nice. I also think another fairy type could be good but thats just my opinion

Definitely gym leaders doing something with their lives.

But for new features instead of just bad character writing, I'd say my main one is probably for our decisions to actually matter for once.

So my girlfriend was playing Emerald last night and started having a laughing attack because of the "dancing George Washington" she was fighting. Turns out it was an Illumise. Sooo it got me thinking, what other pokemon have resemblance to people? Yeah things like Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan were literally named after Bruce and Jackie but I meant more so physical resemblance. I might, but Stripe has been good in terms of Pick Up! Eventually, I might get a Blue Moon Ice Cream! But I will admit, it does have a little trouble inflicting damage...

I see where you're coming from with that, but most players here have a dedicated "Pick Up Team/Squad/Gang" with 6 pick upers that they just run around with. I usually only have 5 and just keep them on me while I grind one other team member

Eh Gastrodon doesn't really learn any useful Ground types. Check under the Grand Stairway and (I believe) there are Sandshrew and Geodudes. Phanpy's by Corey's gym are good too. Aya is around the time I started using a rotation team (with all 12 of my guys down below) and that system helps a lot in Reborn with how difficult some battles are

Now, for the team. I had a lot of issues with Aya too, I ended up being able to win thanks to my Magneton. But another viable strategy would be to use mist or some other field changing move so ground type moves do normal damage. Idk if that would even help at all, but there are some alright ground types available prior to Aya

Haha yeah Water type started get bodied in the beginning (except Protean Froakie but that's barely a water type). My Turtwig/Grotle crushed Julia and set up enough curses on Flobot that she couldn't do anything. Glad you enjoyed the game so much, it's the best gem I've ever played

[Who's the Worst Pokemon?]

Blaziken is complete utter garbage, and by far the worst starter. It's so painfully slow, and even when it gets to attack something it does literally no damage. Worthless.
