  1. Was having trouble sleeping even though I'm very tired and decided to reupload now; the Hoothoot and Riolu lines now follow Gen 7 learnsets. This is probably the last reupload I'm going to do for a while, unless a major/gamebreaking glitch is discovered. I was confident that the final episode wouldn't need to be reuploaded as much after all the time spent developing and playtesting it. I expected there to still be glitches and oversights, because there are some things that won't be discovered until they reach a wider audience. Different people have different playstyles, so more people playing means more opportunities for glitches to be found. But it's been 9 days since the final episode was released and I've reuploaded 7 times. Part of it is because I fix and reupload immediately whenever something is discovered (if it's something I'm capable of fixing), as opposed to most fangames which take note of glitches over a period of time and reupload less because each reupload fixes more issues. Whenever a glitch (or something not up to date with the current gen) is discovered, even if it's something small like being able to walk through an object that shouldn't be walked through, I get extremely anxious and feel the need to fix it right away or as soon as I can. I get scared that people will be mad at me because of the glitch, and won't want to play anymore. But doing this is having a very negative effect on my mental health. It's starting to feel endless, like every day someone will find something and I'll reupload to fix it (which takes around 30-45 minutes). And there are hundreds of Pokemon, moves, items, etc., so who knows how many issues are still out there waiting to be found. It feels even more pressuring now that the game is complete, since thread activity has increased a lot since then. I was originally going to lock the thread for a few days, and I still think that'd be the best way for me to de-stress. With the thread quiet, it'd be a break from everything Spork related completely until I was ready to handle it again. But locking the thread might cause issues too. If someone needs help it'd be more difficult for them to ask. If more glitches, things not up to date, etc. are posted I'll still take note of them to fix when I'm the right state of mind. But I won't make any immediate reuploads unless it's something major. to end this on a positive note: 2 days ago was 1 week exactly since episode 7 was released. I happened to notice the number of downloads when I was reuploading that day and it was a little over 2000 (2040something; I don't remember the exact number, and looking it just now it's up to 2546!) That made me happy to see because the final episode got more downloads in a week than most episodes of Spork got throughout their entire release time (meaning from one episode's release to the next).
  2. No; it's supposed to be Gen 7. I just turned my computer off and am going to bed so I'll fix it tomorrow. And by tomorrow I mean today because it's past midnight.
  3. I'm glad to hear the issue is resolved! The intent was for all non-legendary Pokemon to be obtainable as starters. Some people classify Ultra Beasts as legendaries, but I personally don't (aside from Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma). I consider them their own category like the Eeveelutions, starters, etc. In Ultra Space they're ordinary species. Spork takes place after Gen 7, and Ultra Beasts have become a more common sight after Lusamine opened the wormhole + travel between this dimension and Ultra Space was made possible.
  4. That's strange; it's supposed to be the other way around. The only possibility I can think of right now is maybe you pressed the s key at some point? Before I upgraded to Essentials v16.2 which came with the autorun toggle, the s button was used to autorun. If that's the case, maybe pressing s will return things to normal?
  5. I just tested and I was able to switch from running to walking and back again. Do you have the alt/speedup button on? If you do, the game speed might be fast enough that it seems like you're running even when you're walking. If not, I'm unsure what could be causing it as I wasn't able to replicate it.
  6. Reuploaded with this fixed; the issue was that Fletchinder and Talonflame had Big Pecks as their primary ability instead of Flame Body. Fletchling has Big Pecks as its primary ability but that's supposed to change when it evolves, and it didn't before. I think this is something I fixed back in episode 2 or 3...I definitely remember someone mentioning it before. It's fixed now though.
  7. reuploaded with the following fixes: -undefined the movesets of early NPC trainers so that they have their Gen 7 levelup moves by default now -Pollen Puff now works on Grass types. The issue was that it was defined as a spore/powder move. It worked for me with Arbok though before fixing; maybe you mixed Arbok up with a different Pokemon @Filthy Casual? -fixed typo in ICSW's speech in Crystal Caverns: completey -> completely
  8. Pokemon movesets are updated to USUM on all accounts (level up, egg moves, TM), yes. Joltik used to learn Leech Life as a level up move before Gen 7. When leaving a trainer's Pokemon's moveset undefined it uses their most recent level up moves, but when I first started making Spork I didn't know that and thought you had to define everything. So a lot of early NPC trainers Pokemon have their latest levelup moves defined before I realized I didn't need to do that, and since it was Gen 6 at the time, yeah.
  9. No Pokemon is shiny locked. I don't know how to shiny lock and even if I did I wouldn't want to prevent people from getting a shiny of certain Pokemon. It'll never be shiny during the battle, because it's set up as a trainer battle, and trainer Pokemon are never shiny unless they're set that way. But it can be shiny when obtained.
  10. I'm glad you were able to find the space station! That's strange about Pollen Puff though. Bulbapedia says that Pollen Puff is one of the moves Bulletproof blocks, but none of the Pokemon you mentioned have that ability. And I don't think there's any other move or ability that negates Pollen Puff. I'm going to bed but I'll test when I can.
  11. For Pokemon with two possible abilities, I assume it's a 50/50 chance of getting either ability, or whatever chance it is to get a second ability in the official games, since the hidden ability was switched to the second ability slot. For Pokemon with three possible abilities:
  12. RPG Maker games are for PC and can't be played on mobile. IIRC there have been a few people over the years who tried to make RPG Maker/Essentials fangames playable on mobile but the attempts were not successful. To play, you need to download from the link in the first post, and then when it's finished downloading, extract the files from the folder. Inside the extracted folder, double click the "Game" program with the orange icon to start the game.
  13. I guess I forgot to make them available at the herb shop. Reuploaded with them there now.
  14. It's possible to have multiple save files in Pokemon fangames by going into the C drive on your PC, then Users -> the name of your PC -> Saved Games -> the folder of the fangame in Saved Games -> and then renaming the "Game" data file in there (usually people rename it Game1). Then you can start a new file in the game while still having your old file, and can switch between them at any time by renaming them. I hope that made sense. I'm not very good at wording things + my brain is fried and I'm going to sleep soon (was just checking the forums before sleeping) so if it didn't, here's a video I found that shows the process: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6jzsX4e3sII this video is for Reborn and Rejuvenation but works with Spork too, + all other fangames made using RMXP & Essentials.
  15. reuploaded with the following fixes & updates -fixed Delicia's shiny Mareep in the first and second battle also. Hopefully it should be fixed in every battle now. I hadn't realized I consistently forgot a comma in every battle with her when defining her Mareep's properties, and that's what made it display as a shadow Pokemon instead of a shiny -Goodra now learns Power Whip at level 50 (Gen 7) instead of 55 (Gen 6) -added legendary quest for ZeraoraORAORAORAORAORAORA, which wasn't in before because I forgot it existed
  16. I hadn't intended on doing any outside of the Holiday Pokemon + other special occasions because there's so many Pokemon that it sounds x . x If I did I'd probably mainly focus on ones with shinies that are already very similar to the normal Pokemon like Abra, but for the most part I'll probably stick with the canon shinies.
  17. Yes. Delicia's Delicious Dreamland is a side game that focuses on Delicia and Felicia. It includes Delicia meeting her Pokemon for the first time, Felicia's first magic show, how they joined Team Portal, and other events.
  18. The entries are mostly what each Pokemon makes me think of when I look at them. Editing them was necessary in order to remove mentions of death, soul-stealing, and similar things that don't exist in Spork. But I do understand why the entries are jarring to people. The Pokedex is supposed to be a device created by professional researchers to record information on Pokemon behavior and habitat, and it's strange seeing what's written there in Spork. I briefly considered just not giving the player a Pokedex to begin with, but that could make it difficult for people to keep track of all the Pokemon they've caught, especially for people who do try to complete the Pokedex. I'm happy you enjoy the game despite the Pokedex weirdness though! ^^
  19. This happened to me once when playing Reborn. In my case it was fixed after restarting, though I don't know if that'll be the same case here. I'm not sure what causes it to happen and whether the issue is with the mouse or if it's just something that happens rarely when playing RPG Maker games like the "script is hanging" error.
  20. I just downloaded from the link in the first post and all of the files were there for me. I'm not sure why the game wasn't in the copy you downloaded, but maybe redownloading will work?
  21. Reuploaded with the following fixes/updates: -in the fifth battle with Delicia, her Ampharos is now shiny instead of there being a shadow Pokemon message -Earthquake TM is now in the game; I forgot to add it before -fixed issue with Minior's displayed sprite in shield form -the game no longer crashes when attempting to battle Keldeo -fixed tile passability error with the walls of the Training Centers @J-Awesome One: same here XD edit: reuploaded again fixing Delicia's Ampharos in the third and fourth battles too
  22. Spork is the only game I plan to make, but after the V10 beta testing period Jan also asked me to be an editor of sorts for the Rejuvenation team! My job there is mainly to catch typos and make sure everything is consistent in the story. There will! I plan to add all of Reborn's move animations as they're released.
