Important Action - with Roy Monika walked inside of the Police Station with Roy, who had been waiting for here for at least ten minutes. She had that weird idea of picking up her rollerblades from her home... she started to use them less frequently since she arrived in Heartland, and in the last months she almost never used them. Only on some Sundays she'd go in the park with her family and could skate there. But were they really useful now? She felt like she was the slowest of the group at moving around; she didn't have a bike or a scooter, unlike a lot of her classmates... But Arial said that her idea was good... so why not? Now Monika had her rollerblades attached to her backpack, ready to be worn. Roy, who was on her side, asked some informations to the cop. "So... could we know what is going on here, please?" she said after him, waiting anxiously for a reply. Her curiosity could help a lot in the investigation, so she had to make sure she asked all of her questions, despite her shyness.

Sorry for making you wait for the recap... Since Tomas did this fast-forward, but after his post I got the "OK" from Arial (inside the story - Monika asked her this) I'll just say that Monika went to her house then returned to the police station, where she met Roy, and either start the post from the moment when Monika is already there or make a "flashback" of some sort.

Yes, I had this "weird" idea for Monika... Is using Rollerblades alright? (I'll just edit the post if it's not ok - Tomas actually told me there wasn't any problem, but I wanted to ask other players. Also, I only watched some 5D and some Zexal.

To Rene, Arial, Zander, Roy and Arthur "I finally made a choice." said Monika after thinking for, probably, too long. "I think I will go to the police station, to see if they shed some light about this. Then we could meet somewhere in the centre of the city. " Monika then thought that she forgot something at home... "I am going home to take something I forgot and didn't know that it would have been useful. Roy, I think I'll meet you in the station..." Was she doing the right thing? She'd always ask herself this - and now wanted to be sure about it. She whispered to Arial: "At home I have a pair of Rollerblades and for me they are the only way of getting around the city, beside the bus. Is it ok if I use them now?" After getting the response, she would have been ready to go, catch the bus, and investigate, as all of her doubts would have been cleared.

To Arthur, Arial, Rene, Roy and Zander Monika was one of the last students to leave the classroom 2-2. Her teacher Anna was still there though, staring at the window and looking at the big crowd out of the school. Once she was out of the school, Monika noticed some of her classmates together; one of them was Arial. She was one of the first people Monika talked to that day, before the conversation was stopped (courtesy of Sidus). Monika still didn't get to know well all of this people; she couldn't call them friends, so going with them could have been a good idea. When she got closer, she heard that they were talking about her previous teacher, and that the conversation was aready begun. She noticed Arial's D-Pad, of course, as "everybody would turn around to look at a customized D-Pad, even for a split second", and she already knew that because of personal experience. She ran towards the group of students and introduced herself before they could depart: "Hi there, I'm Monika... I tought you were going to investigate about Mr. Tenjo's death, so... Can I come with you?", then looked at Arial and whispered: "We were talking before... but the conversation was cut off, so I want to help you now." As she was talking she noticed that everyone had their D-Pad and decided to pull out hers. It was in her bag with some other cards; it was a new, customized D-Pad, with silver slots and a yellow outline, rectangular screen and white laces. "So... where are we (or you) going?"

I am ready (kinda) and looking forward to it.

To Sidus "oh, you are right..." said Monika. She looked at her watch and noticed that the lunch break would have ended in a few minutes. "I should have expected it..." she thought, before waiting for the end of the pause, staring at the window. Maybe she could meet her other classmates later.

To Sidus Monika was even more amazed now, as she had just received a compliment from one of the classmates she admired more. She smiled again and replied with a whisper: "Thank you for the compliment... and just call me Monika". She felt Sidus actually wanted to tell her more, but couldn't, so she kept looking at him, waiting for a reply, as she also didn't know what to tell him... She had some ideas but she wanted to just choose the right one. After a pause, she said: "So... could I ask you where you come from? Are you from Heartland or did you moved here, like I did?"

Well, in the classroom there are Monika (my character) and Arial (right now Arial is searching info while Monika talks with Sidus) investigating about illegal duels.

Well, the Beetle would be impossible to summon for me.

Ken, Sidus Monika was still staring at Sidus's "Stellarknight Constellar Diamond", amazed. Not only she and Sidus had the same personality, but also very similar decks. Monika picked up the rest of the cards that were on the ground and placed them on Sidus' desk, then turned around once again as Ken was offering some cookies to the people in the classroom. Monika also took a look around, and noticed Arial using her tablet, then picked up a cookie from Ken's tin. She was actually one of the few people in the school (or maybe in the entire city) who had not eaten one of those cookies at least once; she didn't even go to Sugar King shops that often. Monika ate the cookie slowly. It was very different from her hometown's tipical food, there was no Sugar King there but only the baker's, and this made her remember her old home, a big house with a garden near the river, not too far from the town square... It was a lovely place, but Heartland (surprisingly for her) wasn't bad either. After finishing the cookie, she replied softly "Thank you Ken, these cookies are delicious." Monika then turned around again, as Arial was still searching informations and she didn't want to bother her again. "So Sidus uses a Stellarknight deck..." she thought after seeing some of his cards, then she looked at him and whispered: "Sorry, when I picked up your Stellarknight Constellar Diamond I was so amazed... Here, take it. And, by the way, you have a very cool deck!", with a slight smile on her face.

I'm writing here a small notice to the other roleplayers. As Tomas pointed out (today), in the post I made yesterday (when Monika begins to talk with Arial) I made my character ask something which could be considered "meta-gaming"... I edited the post anyway so it seems less certain (Instead of saying "Can a duel kill someone" I said "What if...?") to avoid confusion.

Interacting with Arial, then Sidus "So you actually can die because of a Duel... This might have involved our teacher teacher. Now you know why I sneaked behind you. You could have found some good informations..." Monika had to turn around because of the sudden noise. Behind her, there were a lot of cards on the ground. one of them immediately caught Monika's attention. Stellarknight Constellar Diamond. "Sorry Arial for ignoring you now... But this is a Constellar monster!" she said, turning around. On the desk behind her, slightly upset about dropping all of his cards, was sitting Sidus. "I use Constellar monsters too... We must have very similar decks, as yours could be a Stellarknight deck or a Constellar deck like mine." she said. Monika now didn't know who to talk with. She started a conversation with Arial and obtained some true facts supporting what, during the lesson, was just a theory in her mind. Then, she started talking with Sidus about his deck, turning away from Arial...

Interacting with Arial Monika's curiosity not only made her sneak up on Arial, but now made her start a conversation despite her shyness. What were the right words to say? She was the one who began to talk, after all. She said "Hello Arial... Since I am sitting behind you I was able to see what you were doing on your tablet... Please, I am not trying to be a spy, I have just been thinking about our teacher for the entire lesson and now I see you also seem worried about this... If you are OK talking about this... I had an idea I could explain to you." and looked in her green eyes while doing a pause. "Actually the research you have been doing could be helpful... I have a question that could be answered." said Monika, then, when she was sure to have Arial's attention, she whispered:"What if a duel could kill someone?"

Interacting with Arial (DarkLight) and Sidus (Flynn) When the bell rang, Monika looked briefly at her notebook. The older pages were filled with organized notes and schemes, the one that she wrote on today instead was so chaotic, with really small letters and some details missing. She did not follow the entire lesson... no one seemed to be able to do that. Monika, actually, tried to write down those notes, but also kept thinking about the previous teacher, or staring at the window, at the sky. She kept asking herself questions like "How did Mr Tenjo die, and who killed him?", "Who is this Anna Reinier and why is she so familiar?" or "What is an illegal duel?" and even "Can you die because of a Duel?". Monika also looked briefly at the person who sat next to her for the last two hours, who also looked at her right in the eyes before she turned around. Sidus was his name; a blonde, not very tall (but, at least, taller than her) and fairly shy guy. She still didn't get to know him well, although they were in the same class, but they seemed to have a lot of things in common. "Sidus was so similar to her in both good things and not so good things... serious, calm, and shy. Only the hair colours are the opposite. Oh, and he must be a fairly reasonable person... " she thought, as she put her left hand in her "very" black hair. After a piercing whistle coming from "Some attention-seeking classmate" she didn't even pay attention to, and a "good" lunch with some sandwiches, Monika decided to just take a glance at the class, now with just some people in it. Arial still was on her desk, in front of Monika, using her tablet to find informations about illegal duels, and not finding anything comprehensive about these "Illegal duels". She, in fact, didn't even notice Monika looking at her tablet, until a loud noise was heard in the classroom... caused by Luna: Arial was staring steadily at her, who instead just yelled "Hi!". Some moments later, another boy entered class 2-2. "Zander, if I remember correctly" thought Monika as Luna turned around and started talking with him. Monika took this chance to talk with Arial about what happened yesterday and about all of the questions in her mind. "Did she know something more about that? Did she actually find something on the Internet? Does she know some answers to my questions?" Monika started to talk, trying to get Arial's attention: "Hello Arial...". After a pause, Monika spoke again: "Could I discuss with you about what happened to our previous teacher?" Actually, Monika also had the idea to leave class 2-2. Maybe she could talk with the guy with the blonde hair again...

I'm also looking forward to the topic! I have tried to duel sone times but, since I still have to get used to Pendulum monsters, I got steamrolled by Nekros and D/D... I have a Vylon Disigma now in the extra deck, and I think that if you are ok with this I'll keep it forever... I was able to win against the Nekros in a rematch after I had really low lp.

I am kind of a novice too... Constellars were in my first deck so I really wanted to use them here (actually now I think Photon would have worked better, but Constellars are still special and fit more the character). Question: I have a Stellarknight in my extra deck (It's stellarknight Constellar Diamond). I might just change it, but, since it is a Constellar, it could have some good support form the other cards I am using... do you want to be the only one that has a Diamond in the deck (as it's a stellarknight) or could we just keep it both (if you have it) to show this friendship (it depends on what the first IC topic is going to be actually) between Sidus and Monika?

Ok, sorry. But I thought he could say something like "I'd like to join and use stellarknights" here with a post... Sorry everyone for this misunderstanding. (response to Tomas)

Stellarknights cannot be used with Zefra monsters, I think (it is the limitation, you can also ask Tomas). But... Well, our characters could be a cool couple, as Monika has Constellars (and Stellarknight Constellar Diamond), and Stellarknights and Constellars are very similar. Anyway, welcome to the RP! (I am just the one who helped with the list, I am not that important...) You should also read some previous posts for crucial information on this RP.

Azery, maybe this can help: Number 96, the character who used number 65 in the anime, used the Malicevorous archetype (they are just three Fiend-type, LV 2 monsters); they could work well not only with Number 65 but also with number 96 (the actual card), so that's why number 96 (the character) used them. Also remember that number 65 and 96 need two or three LV 2 DARK monsters. Edit: Outpaced.
