  1. I just have one problem. When I alter my clock in an attempt to go back in time and fight trainers that I missed in the past, after about a week or so they stop fighting me. Is there any way to fix this, or should I just go into the future?
  2. So, I've been doing an Ash run of Reborn, and I was planning on evolving my Pikachu into a Raichu. Unfortunately, I was planning on using the move relearner to relearn some moves before I evolved it, but I'm not sure which moves. It currently knows: -Nuzzle -Discharge -Nasty Plot -Sweet Kiss So, what do you guys think? I was thinking that I should replace Discharge with Electro Ball simply because I mainly use Pikachu as a parafusion setter, so Electro Ball has good synergy with paralysis and the speed drop it causes.
  3. So, I've just gotten to Tanzan Cove, and I caught a Roggenrola. I was planning on using it on my team for Serra, but I'm getting very little experience from the Pokémon in Tanzan Cove and I don't think the Unown under the Grand Staircase are particularly effective at this point. Does anybody know any good grinding places?
  4. I'm trying to find a torkoal, but the location guide just says "bottom of pyrous mountain" and the Ev training guide doesn't list it as a Pokemon that appears in pyrous mountain. Could anybody give me some details about how to get it?
  5. So, I've bred myself a Grimer to use for my Ash run, and I gave it the following moves: -Minimize -Curse -Shadow Punch -Shadow Sneak My problem is, I'm going to evolve it soon, and I'm not quite sure what move I should delete it for Poison Jab once it evolve. Which move do you think I should get rid of? I'm personally leaning towards Shadow Punch, but I'd just like to double-check with you guys.
  6. Thank you for all of your help! I evolved my Tranquill and taught my Frogadier Smack Down, and a combination of those two plus my Donphan (which had a Cheri Berry Natural Gift for Shelly's Wormadam) I managed to pull through! Onwards to Shade!
  7. So, I'm doing an Ash run of Pokémon Reborn (in case you're wondering, that means I'm only allowed to use Pokémon currently owned by Ash Ketchum, as suggested by someone earlier on this forum). I've been doing pretty well up to this point, but now that I'm up to Shelly I'm starting to get a little worried. You see, my normal strategy for Shelly is to light the field on fire and steadily damage her Pokémon's health, but the only Pokémon available in this run that knows any moves that could light the field on fire is Torkoal, and I won't be getting that until I reach Apophyll Academy. My question is, does anyone have any tips for beating Shelly that don't involve setting the field on fire? Keep in mind, the only Pokémon that I currently have available to me are: - Frogadier - Grimer - Noctowl -Tranquill -Pikachu -Phanphy -Swadloon -Buizel Any help I could get would be greatly appreciated!

    Zorua

I'm just not quite sure where to start. Do you have to run one of the gangs out of town before you can get Zorua?

    Zorua

I was searching for Zorua, and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Would anybody know what steps I have to follow to find it? I saw the video, but I'm not sure if that was changed since it was uploaded to Youtube. Any help I could get would be appreciated!

    Lillipup

Would anybody happen to know the locations where lillipup appears when you have to chase it down? Any help I could get would be appreciated!
  11. I managed to find him and purchase Pokesnax from him. Thanks for all the help!
  12. Hey! I've started a new playthrough of Reborn, and I know there's normally a vendor in the northern Peridot Ward who sells Pokesnax; however, no matter where I look I can't find him. Would anybody happen to know where this vendor is located?
  13. Hey there! I'm doing a Ground-type monotype run, and I'm having a little trouble with Kiki. She outspeeds all my pokemon, and I haven't even managed to get past her Machamp. If you don't mind, do you think you could give me some recommendations for my team? Dugtrio (Rash) Lv. 37 Sand Tomb Magnitude Earth Power Sucker Punch Wormadam (Gentle) Lv. 37 Psybeam Bug Bite Protect Rock Blast Stunfisk (Sassy) Lv. 37 Bounce Mud Bomb Discharge Endure Vivraba (Timid) Lv. 37 Earthquake Sandstorm Rock Slide Dig Torterra (Rash) Lv. 40 Bite Earthquake Razor Leaf Synthesis Camerupt (Calm) Lv. 39 Lava Plume Rock Slide Earth Power Flame Burst Any help I could get would be appreciated!
  14. I couldn't agree more. Up until this episode, I thought Fern was the biggest hate sink in the game, being a massive, egotistical jerk who never gets his comeuppance. Then I met Blake. Blake is all the things that make Fern a horrible, horrible person, except he's actually done things just as horrible as he is. He joined an organization dedicated to destroying an entire region. He left an entire town to starve. He lied to a little girl, claiming he would be a loving dad, only to cruelly use her as a tool for his own end. He pushed his own brother off a freaking cliff. And the worst part? Just like Fern, he never gets comeuppance. According to Cal's dialogue atop Pyrous Mountain, Blake was always pampered as a child, and everything he did was praised. As an adult, the entire town he tried to starve still treat him as a celebrity. At the end of Episode 14, he gets away unscathed, still perfectly willing and able to carry out Team Meteor's goals. Blake is one of three characters in Reborn (the others being Fern and Solaris) whom I can find no redeeming values. I want him and the other characters to suffer a major breakdown at the end of the game, or at least get some form of cathartic comeuppance. You don't try to murder your brother and get away with it scott-free. Arceus would not allow it.
  15. Yeah... am I the only one who thinks that the whole "burn Eclipse's soul out because she defected" thing was Sirius' moral event horizon? Seriously, after that I wanted to burn his soul out with his own Chandelure and feed his body to a rabid Mighteyna.
  16. Would anybody happen to know if the Razor Fang is available in-game, and if it is, where I can locate it? Any help I could get would be appreciated!
  17. Thanks for all the help! Since I'm allowing myself to use Pokémon that evolve into ground-types and HM slaves, I got a turtwig and bibarel and plan on eventually getting a Litleo (for headbutt) and Burmy (for Wormadam) until I can get more actual ground-types.
  18. When I play Voltorb Flip I generally open a Youtube video in the background to keep me entertained while I gamble. It helps with the boredom.
  19. Would anybody happen to know what ground-types or Pokémon that evolve into ground-types appear prior to beating the first gym? I was planning on doing a ground-type monotype run, and I wanted to know what early teammates I could gather. Any help would be appreciated!
  20. Which battle? The regular one with the corrosive field, or the secret one with the corrosive mist? Honestly, I think that the battle in the corrosive mist field was a little easier, simply because I was able to blow away the mist at the start of the battle and didn't have to worry about any field effects during the battle. And as for save files, I did the main game once and now I'm doing a flying-type monotype run. It's harder than I thought it would be, but I think I like it so much because it's harder than the main games. Not that the main games aren't fun, but I really like fighting gym leaders and villainous team members that actually take me out the first couple of times I fight them.
  21. Really? That's good to hear! I'm doing a flying-type monotype run of Reborn, so getting an aerodactyl would be a huge boon for me.
  22. I'm not sure if it was him making you beg before he lets you out of the cage, his apathy towards Corey's suicide, or him mocking how traumatized Shelly was during his battle towards her that made me first realize that Fern was a heartless monster lacking even the most basic levels of human empathy, but either way I have to admit he's probably one of the few video game characters that I actually genuinely hate. Kudos to Ame for making such a good hate sink. My only complaint is that beating him never really feels satisfying. He just rationalizes away his loss every time, usually insulting you in the process. You never seem to really accomplish anything by beating him; he just continues to be a stuck-up sociopath. Deep down, I'm hoping for him to have a dramatic breakdown after his final defeat in which he realizes that you really are - and always have been - superior to him.

    Old Amber

Sorry to be a bother, but does anybody know whether or not the Old Amber is available through mining? I checked the item location guide, but it said it wasn't available; the item location guide can be a little faulty, though, so I just wanted to double-check.
