Update #29: I'm Watching, Wasowski. Always Watching... Well, Aya was actually kind of easy! Nim led with Elsa and Hermonie, and Aya led with Tentacruel and Nidoqueen. Hermonie set up a calm mind and dodged a blizzard that Elsa survived, but Elsa completely failed a blizzard and fainted to a crunch. Ron came out to avenge her, and he set up a light screen and tanked both a blizzard and a light screen while Hermonie set up another calm mind. Ron then set up a reflect and Hermonie set up another calm mind, and they both tanked a sludge wave while Tentacruel set up toxic spikes, which promptly poisoned Ron. Ron got off one last psychic on Nidoqueen, but fainted to a muddy water while Nidoqueen whiffed an earth power; Hermonie, meanwhile, set up another calm mind because I'm the legendary fartmaster and jumped the gun. Luckily, the next turn I was smart enough to have her fire off a mighty psychic, which took out Tentacruel! That same turn, Draco (who came out to replace Ron), tanked a sludge wave, and promptly got overleveled, causing him to disobey Nim and loaf around. The next turn, Aya sent out her Gengar, and rather than take out somebody with a shadow ball, it used focus blast on Hermonie, of all Pokemon, allowing her to KO it with a psychic while Draco KO'd Nidoqueen with a mighty psychic after tanking an earth power! Up next came Aya's Drapion and Mega Venusaur. Hermonie got hit by a leech seed, but was able to KO Aya's Drapion with an air slash while Draco seriously injured Mega Venusaur with a psychic! Aya, running out of options, sent out her ace: Dragalge. Dragalge got slammed by a psyshock while Hermonie took out Mega Venusaur with a psychic and Dragalge barely dented Hermonie with a dragon pulse. Hermonie then ended the Dragalge with a mighty psychic, ending the fight and finally earning Nim the Venom Badge! With our fifth badge finally gotten, it's time to save those kids! The team so far:

Update #28: Toxic Flora Well, Fern was harder than he was at the Grand Hall, but I still took him down. On TEH URN, Nim led with Harry, and Fern led with Ferrothorn. Ferrothorn fell to a single flamethrower, leading to Fern sending out his Krookodile. Nim switched out to Dhalsim, and he tanked a fire fang to take it down with a high jump kick! Nim switched out to Harry again while Fern sent out his Scizor, and while it managed to set up a double team, tank a flamethrower thanks to its focus sash, and get healed by a chocolate ice cream, it still fell to a mighty flamethrower. Fern then sent out his trickiest Pokemon: Mega Sceptile. Nim sent out Elsa, but she fell to a single leaf blade. Nim then sent out Hermonie, but she only got to set up a calm mind before falling to a dragon claw and an x-scissor. Nim and I finally got smart and sent out Ron, who set up a reflect while tanking two dragon claws, then tanked a leaf blade and a night slash to end the Mega Sceptile with a few psychics! Fern sent out his Serperior next, and Nim swapped out to Harry. Harry tanked a Dragon Pulse and did serious damage with a flamethrower, even burning the Serperior! Fern quickly swapped out to his ace, Roserade, but it got smacked by a mystical fire on the switch, did barely anything with a hidden power, and got KO'd by a psyshock! Serperior then came back out, but all it could do was set up a glare before fainting to a mighty flamethrower! With that done with, it's time to challenge Aya! The team so far:

Update #27: The Gatekeeper Well, Cain wasn't nearly as bad as Solaris, but he did take a few tries to get everything down right. On TEH URN, Nim led with Harry, and Cain led with Venomoth. Venomoth fainted intsantly to a flamethrower, prompting Cain to send out his Samurott. Nim then switched out to Ron, who tanked a dig and set up dual screens. He then tanked two razor shells and an air slash and fired off six psychics, eventually taking out Samurott and making Cain use up his two chocolate ice creams! Up next came Cain's Muk, so Nim switched out to Harry. Harry shrugged off a shadow sneak (but ended up getting poisoned) and did some damage with a psyshock. Cain then inexplicably switched out to his Gengar, which got slammed by a psyshock on the switch and KO'd! Muk came back out, and Draco KO'd it with a psyshock, ending it. Cain decided to stop messing around and sent out his ace: Nidoking. Nim switched out to Ron, and he set dual screens back up before fainting to a sludge wave and an earthquake. Luckily, the dual screens let Elsa (who came out next) survive an earthquake, and even though she missed a blizzard, she was able to land a psychic and a blizzard on Cain's Weezing, who he swapped Nidoking out for; this KO'd the Weezing! With only Nidoking left, Cain sent it back out, and Nim sent out Hermonie. Hermonie set up a calm mind while tanking an ice beam, and then ended Nidoking with a mighty psychic! Onward to the Watseland! The team so far:

Update #26: Defy the Legends, Part 1: Why I'm Afraid of Lava Well, I did it. I can't believe I did it, but I beat Solaris with only psychic-type Pokemon. I got a little lucky, yes, and had to manipulate the weather so that it was sunny, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. Anyway, on TEH URN, Nim led with Harry, and Solaris led with Scizor. Scizor went down fast to a single flamethrower, and thus Solaris decided to stop playing around and sent out his ace: Garchomp. Nim swapped out to Elsa, and she miraculously managed to dodge a stone edge and do massive damage with a blizzard, terminating the field in the process. Solaris tried to use a full restore, but thanks to the lack of a field Elsa was able to KO Garchomp with a blizzard while Solaris healed it! Up next came Solaris' Excadrill, and Nim sent Harry Back out. Harry managed to outspeed it and end it with a single flamethrower, leading to Solaris sending out his most difficult Pokemon for Nim to handle: Gyarados. Nim sent out Ron, who set up a reflect and a misty terrain, tanked four outrages, and did serious damage with four psychics before Gyrados KO'd him with a fifth outrage. Nim sent out Starman, and Gyrados injured itself in confusion, got healed, and did chip damage with a waterfall while xe set up three cosmic powers. What followed was a six-minute long struggle in which Starman tanked waterfall after waterfall and got off tons of extrasensories (and getting healed by the occasional berry ice cream), eventually taking it out! Solaris' Mandibuzz came out next, and Starman stayed on the field, taking some snarls and air slashes while chiseling away at it with signal beams before finally fainting from toxic damage. Luckily, Elsa, (who still had full HP) managed to KO Mandibuzz with a mighty blizzard, leading to Solaris' last Pokemon: Tyranitar! Nim swapped out to Dhalism, who tanked an earthquake and ended it with a mighty high jump kick, ending the fight! With that over with, Solaris kills Kiki (and Nim's Fury Badge) and runs away, leaving us to pick up his mess. ...What a big baby. The team so far:
-
Thanks! So far, my strategy is this: 1) Have Harry KO Scizor in a one-on-one fight. 2) Have Elsa (who's holding a focus sash) use two blizzards to take out Garchomp. 3) Send Harry back out to injure Solaris' Excadrill. 4) When Harry inevitably faints, send out Ron, who should set up reflect and a misty terrain before fainting. 5) Send out Starman, who will set up three cosmic powers and KO Excadrill with earth powers. 6) PRAY TO GOD FOR SOME WAY TO TAKE OUT THE REST OF SOLARIS' POKEMON. 7) Profit.

Update #25: Taka Chill Pill, Man! Well, Taka was a pain in the butt. On TEH URN, Nim led with Harry, and he led with Klefki. Miraculously, Klefki didn't use a status move, and thus Harry was able to take it down with a mighty flamethrower! Up next came Taka's Floatzel, so Nim sent out Dhalism. Dhalism managed to tank an ice punch and KO Floatzel with a mighty high jump kick, leading to Taka sending out his Gliscor. Nim swapped out to Ron, and he set up dual screens, tanked three night slashes, and set up a misty terrain while tanking a cross poison. He then got off two more psychics before fainting to an acrobatics, prompting Nim to send out Elsa. While Taka was busy healing Gliscor with an ultra potion, Elsa fired off a mighty Blizzard, ending the Gliscor! Taka then sent out his Aerodactyl, and Nim sent Dhalism back out. Dhalism tanked a crunch and then proceeded to fire off two bullet punches, ending the Aerodactyl! Taka decided to stop messing around and sent out his ace, Chatot, and Nim sent Harry back out. Harry got confused by a chatter, but still managed to land a mighty mystical fire, prompting Taka to heal Chatot with his last ultra potion. Unfortunately, rather than do something productive with the turn he was given, Harry decided to just use cut, because I'm the Legendary Fartmaster and can't use keyboards. This let Chatot set up a nasty pulse while Harry fired off a flamethrower, leading to Chatot wiping the floor with Harry using boomburst before he could finish the job. Chatot proceeded to tear through Starman with a boomburst, but then Nim got smart and swapped out to Dhalism, who took Chatot out with a bullet punch! Up next came Taka's Cradily, but Dhalism missed a high jump kick and fainted before he could take it out. Luckily, Draco was able to come in and tanked giga drains and ancientpowers left and right while setting u an embargo and spamming psychic, eventually taking the Cradily down! With that over with, it's time to save Aphophyll and defeat Solaris! ...I'm really not looking forward to this... The team so far:

Update #24: Cosmic Conundrum Well, Aster and Eclipse weren't all that bad; the hardest part of the battle was their Solrock and Lunatone. Nim led with Ron and Starman, and Aster and Eclipse led with their Solrock and Lunatone. Solrock and Lunatone fired off a psychic onto both of Nim's Pokemon, but they took only minimal damage; meanwhile, Ron set up a misty terrain and Starman set up a cosmic power. Starman then set up another cosmic power while tanking two psychics, and Ron injured Solrock with a psychic. Ron and Starman continued to use psychic and cosmic power (respectively) the next turn, but Aster and Eclipse proceeded to get smart and had Luantone use cosmic power while Solrock fired off a solarbeam... well, semi-smart, since Solrock aimed from Ron instead of Starman. The next turn, while Aster and Eclipse healed their Solrock and Ron kept wailing away at it with a psychic, Starman went on the offensive and attacked Lunatone with a signal beam; this confused it, and it injured itself in confusion! Ron and Starman kept up the offensive the next turn with a psychic on Solrock and a signal beam on Lunatone, and Lunatone injured Ron severely with a moonblast while Solrock set up a cosmic power as well. Aster and Eclipse used up their last ultra potion on Solrock, and while Ron and Starman continued to do what they did the last turn, Lunatone snapped out of confusion and utterly missed a hypnosis. Ron and Starman then switched tracks and aimed exclusively for Lunatone with a psychic/signal beam combo, but Lunatone and Solrock both aimed for Ron and took him down with two psychics. Luckily, this is where the battle started to turn in my favor, as Dhalism was able to come out and KO Lunatone with a bulet punch while Starman injured Solrock with a signal beam! Up next came Aster and Eclipse's Rhypherior, but it fell to a single high jump kick from Dhalism while Starman injured Solrock with a second signal beam and Solrock set up a solarbeam. Fortunately, it never came to fruition, as Starman managed to take it out with a signal beam while Dhalism took out Aster and Eclipse's Miltoic! All that remained were Aster and Eclipse's aces: Magmortar and Electivire. Dhalism got paralyzed by Electivire and both Dhalism and Starman got smacked by a heat wave; despite this, Dhalism (who became overleveled) refused to attack, so Starman had to pull his weight and injured Electivire with an earth power. Luckily, Electivire tried to paralyze Starman with a thunder wave (which did nothing) and Magmortar did pitiful damage to Starman with a psychic, allowing Dhalism to KO Magmortar with a high jump kick and Starman to end Electivire with an earth power! With that over with, it's time to confront Taka and save Cain! The team so far:

Update #23: Dead-Zero Well, Kiki wasn't all that bad (at least not nearly as bad as Shade and Shelly), but she did give me some trouble with that Medicham. On TEH URN, Nim led with Flak, and Kiki led with Machamp. Flak set up a calm mind while Machamp set up a meditate, and she then tanked a stone edge while doing massive damage with a psychic, ending the Machamp! Up next came Kiki's Toxicroak, which took out Flak with a single gunk shot. Draco came out next, and he tanked a sucker punch to do serious damage with a psychic; unfortunately, Toxicroak survived thanks to its focus sash. Luckily, rather than KO Draco with a sucker punch, Kiki chose to heal Toxicroak with an ultra potion, allowing Draco to take it out with a mighty psyshock! Kiki sent out her Scrafty next, but it went down to a single high jump kick from Dhalism. Kiki then sent out her Hitmonlee, and Nim swapped out to Hermonie. Hermonie set up a calm mind, but got poisoned by a poison jab. While she was able to outspeed and one-shot Hitmonlee with a psychic, she was so weak by this point that Nim had to swap her out for Harry when Kiki's Lucario came out. Luckily, Lucario went down to a single flamethrower, leaving only Kiki's ace: Mega Medicham. nim swapped out to Draco, but he got outsped by Medicham and taken out by an ice punch. Hermonie came back out, but also fell to an ice punch. Running out of options, Nim sent out Harry again, and miraculously, he managed to outspeed Medicham, tank an ice punch and a drain punch, and obey Nim long enough to KO Medicham with three flamethrowers! With that done, Nim earns... a front row seat to Kiki's shattered psyche. Great, but could we get our badge now? Yes, I know she's terminally ill, but isn't that just more motivation to get our badge before she passes? No? Okay... The team so far:

Update #22: Battle Against a True Hero Well, Victoria was a little harder than Cal, but was still pretty easy. Nim led with Dhalism, and she led with Scrafty. Scrafty didn't even get to move, getting KO'd by a high jump kick before it could attack. Up next came Victoria's Heracross, so Nim led with Hermonie, who outsped and KO'd it with an air slash! Victoria decided to send out her ace, Emboar, and Nim swapped out to Starman, who tanked a superpower and KO'd it with a single critical-hit earth power! Poliwrath came out next on Victoria's side, and Nim sent out Draco. Draco tanked an ice punch and did serious damage with a psychic. Victoria tried healing it with a chocolate ice cream, but Draco just KO'd it with another psychic! Victoria then sent out her Hariyama, and Nim sent out Flak. Unfortunately, I underestimated Hariyama, as while Flak set up a calm mind Hariyama set up a belly drum and KO'd Flak with a knock off. Luckily, Harry (who came out next) was able to outspeed it and KO it with a pysshock, leaving only Victoria's Mega: Mega Gallade. Nim sent out Dhalism again, but he fainted to a single psycho cut. Draco came out again as well, but he was only able to get off a psychic before Gallade set up a swords dance and KO'd Draco. Hermonie came out again, but fell to a night slash as well (although she was able to get off an air slash before she fell). Running out of options, Nim sent out Harry, who damaged Gallade with a flamethrower while Victoria healed it, then ended it with a second flamethrower before it could retaliate! With that done, it's time to finally challenge Kiki! The team so far:

Hey, thanks! I actually just beat Elliot last weekend, so I have 5 badges now, Dash just hasn't updated the trainer cards. Good luck to you, too! Anyway... Update #21: Smoldering Embers Well, Cal actually went by pretty fast! Nim led with Harry, and he led with Infernape. Harry tanked a mach punch and one-shotted it with a psyshock. Cal decided to stop playing around and sent out his Mega Charizard X next, so Nim swapped out to Starman. Starman tanked a wing attack and a dragon claw with just 10 HP left, and took it down with two earthquakes! Up next came Cal's Typhlosion, and Nim sent out her newest team member: Dhalism the Medicham! Thyphlosion set up a sunny day, but Dhalism managed to one-shot it with a high jump kick, leading to Cal sending out his own Delphox. Nim sent out Draco, and he tanked a shadow ball to do some damage to it with a dark pulse. Cal then quickly swapped out for Blaziken (an odd move, since Draco probably would have fell to Delphox if he kept attacking) and Draco hit it with a dark pulse on the switch, then just barely tanked a fire punch with 5 HP to KO it with a psychic! Unfortunately, he fainted to burn damage from the fire punch, so Nim sent out Hermonie and Cal sent out his ace: Magmortar. Magmortar got off two thunderbolts, but Hermonie just set up a calm mind and unleashed two psychics, ending the Magmortar! All that remained was Cal's weakened Delphox, which fell to an air slash! With that over with, let's go challenge Kiki! The team so far:

Update #20: It's Your Muk-y Day Well, the ZEL battle was a lot harder than I expected. Nim led with Harry, and ZEL led with their Glaceon. Glaceon went down to a single flamethrower before it could even attack, prompting ZEL to send out the PULSE Muk. This is where things got difficult. Nim swapped out to Flak, who set up a yawn after taking massive damage from a critical-hit sludge wave. She then got confused by a water pulse, and injured herself, but then the Muk fell asleep. She then snapped out of confusion and set up a calm mind and a moonlight, but then the Muk woke up and unleashed a discharge while she set up a second calm mind. She then quickly healed herself with a moonlight while tanking a sludge wave and fired off a psychic after tanking a second discharge, but didn't do much damage and had to heal up with a moonlight while Muk fired off a water pulse. She got off another psychic the next turn after tanking yet another water pulse, but fainted from a critical-hit discharge. Nim sent out Starman next, and xe did some damage with an earth power, but took some serious damage in return from a water pulse. Nim quickly swapped xem out for Elsa, while ZEL healed Muk with an ultra potion. Elsa set up a nasty plot and tanked a mud bomb, then did massive damage with a mighty blizzard, leaving it with only a sliver of HP! ZEL quickly healed Muk after it got off a water pulse with their second ultra potion, and Elsa fired off two psychics before fainting to a discharge. Starman came back out, and finally ended it with a mighty earth power! This led to ZEL sending out their Flareon. Nim kept Starman on the field, and xe did insane damage with an earth power; sadly, xe then fainted from a flare blitz. Harry came back out, and took out the Flareon with a psyshock, leading to ZEL sending out their Jolteon. Nim sent out Draco, and he did some insane damage with two psychics, but fainted to two signal beams and a hyper voice. Harry came back out again, and tanked a charge beam to end it with a flamethrower! ZEL decided to send out their second-most troublesome Pokemon that they had on them: Umbreon. Fortunately, Nim had come prepared, and she sent out Ginny, who was holding a ring target. Ginny quickly swapped items with Umbreon, stealing its leftovers anf saddling it with a detrimental item, but then got confused. Luckily, she was still able to land a psychic twice while Umbreon set up a double team and got off a feint attack. The third time she tried to attack, she ended up hitting herself, giving Umbreon a free turn to set up a double team. Luckily, she was able to land another hit the next turn, but Umbreon just healed itself back up with a moonlight. Ginny ended up snapping out of confusion, but missed again and gave Umbreon a free turn to get off a double team. Umbreon then decided to go on the offensive, taking Ginny down with three feint attacks (although Ginny was able to get off two more psychics). Luckily, Harry was able to swoop in and take it down with a flamethrower, leading to ZEL's last Pokemon: Espeon. It damaged Harry with a flamethrower, but Harry was able to counter with two mighty flamethrowers, ending it and sorta saving the Azurine Lake! Time to head on out to Apophyll Academy! Episode 3 of my Rejuvenation Playthrough is up, in which I make my co-host laugh a little too hard!

Update #19: Welcome to (S)Hades Holy Hell, I did it. Nim beat Shade, the second major hurdle for this run. It took a lot of time, a lot of patience, and a lot of hax, but I finally did it. On TEH URN TO END ALL URNS, Nim led with Ron, and Shade led with Rotom. Ron set up dual screens before he fainted to two shadow balls, and Nim sent out Elsa next. Now, this is the part where one wrong move or one unlucky turn could make or break an attempt. Elsa tanked a shadow ball, and attacked Rotom with a blizzard. Shade healed Rotom with an ultra potion, giving time for Elsa to put it to sleep with a sing. She then set up a nasty plot while Rotom slept, and took out Rotom with another blizzard before it could even wake up! Up next came Shade's Golurk, but it fell to a mighty blizzard before it could even attack. Unfortunately, Shade's Aegislash came up next, so Nim swapped Elsa out for Starman, who tanked a shadow sneak and did serious damage with an earth power. Shade tried healing Aegislash with an ultra potion, but Starman was able to knock it out with an earth power that very same turn! Shade then sent out his Dusknoir, and Nim sent out Draco. Draco managed to make Dusknoir flinch from a dark pulse, then got off a second dark pulse while Dusknoir unleashed a mighty shadow claw. Amazingly, though, Draco managed to survive with just 7 HP, allowing him to KO Dusknoir with a third dark pulse. Up next came the next big hurdle: Shade's Gengar, Corey (3Spoopy5Me). Nim sent out Harry, and he managed to outspeed Corey while he Mega Evolved and land a mighty psyshock, ending him! All that remained was Shade's ace: Chandelure. Fortunately, I had come prepared for it, and sent out Ginny, who was holding an iron ball. She tanked a flamethrower and got off a trick, slowing down the Chandelure immensely, then fired off a critical-hit psychic before fainting to a shadow ball. Nim sent out Starman again, and he managed to do massive damage with a powerful Staraptor earth power, ending the Chandelure and bringing an end to the fight! With Shade down, Nim earns the Omen Badge... and watches her friends get kidnapped. Joy. The team so far:

Update #18: The Keymaster Well, Cain wasn't all that bad; he was harder than Fern, of course, but I still managed to beat him. On TEH URN, Nim led with Ron, and he led with Samurott. Ron set up dual screens while Samurott set up a swords dance and got off a razor shell, then did some damage with a psyshock before fainting to a second razor shell. Nim then sent out Draco, who tanked an aerial ace and managed to end the Samurott with three psychics! Cain decided to send out his ace, Nidoking, next, and Nim sent out one of our newer team members: Elsa the Jynx! She tanked an earth power and took Nidoking out with a critical-hit blizzard, making the mountain snowy in the process! Up next came Cain's Muk, so Nim sent Draco back out. He tanked a poison jab and did some serious damage with two psychics, taking out Muk! Cain decided to send out his Venomoth next, and Nim sent out Harry, who outsped it and ended it with a mighty psyshock! Cain then played his trump card and sent out his most damaging Pokemon: Haunter. Nim sent out another new team member- Starman the Claydol- but xe fell to a single shadow ball. Elsa came out again, but she got KO'd before she could even atack as well. Flak (now a Musharna) came out next, and survived a sludge bomb to almost KO it with a psychic, but fell to a shadow ball the next turn. Fortunately, Harry was able to outspeed the Haunter and end it with a psyshock, ending it and earning Nim the key to the wasteland... or not, since Cain runs off after Heather before Nim can get the key. Oh well... after Cain, then! The team so far:
-
Update #17: Weed Whacking Well, Fern was actually pretty anticlimactic. I led with Hermonie, and he led with Ludicolo. Ludicolo set up a rain dance and did some damage with a giga drain, but Hermonie tanked it, set up a calm mind, and did massive damage with an air slash! The rest of the fight was pretty much just "spam air slash and profit", as Serperior only got to set up a coil before fainting, Sceptile only got to do chip damage with a leaf blade before fainting, and Roserade just flat-out fainted before it could do anything, period. The one exception was Fern's Ferrothorn, whom I swapped out to Harry for. Harry failed to hit Ferrothorn the first turn he was out due to protect, but survived a gyro ball and did massive damage with two fire pledges, ending the Ferrothorn! With that done, it's time to find Cain and get the key to the Wastelland! (Spoilers: we don't get the key.) The team so far:
-
Update #16: Welcome to (S)Hell(y) Well, I finally did it. I beat Shelly using only psychic-type Pokemon. I had to grind Draco past the level cap and evolve him to do it, but I did it nonetheless. On TEH URN, Nim led with Ron and Draco, and Shelly led with Illumise and Masquerain (which gave Ron a +2 Special Attack boost out of the gate thanks to competitive and intimidate). Draco tanked an energy ball and a struggle bug (which, again, made him even stronger thanks to competitive) and did massive damage to Masquerain with a psychic while Ron set up a light screen. Ron then spent a turn healing Draco with a super potion, and while Shelly healed Masquerain and had Illumise fire off a struggle bug, Draco took out Masquerain with a psychic! Up next came Shelly;s Armaldo, and while Ron once again healed Draco before fainting to a bug bite and Illumise once again fired off a struggle bug, Draco managed to end Armaldo with a psychic! Shelly then sent out her Yanmega, Healther, and Nim sent out Chubb. Chubb tanked an ancientpower and fired off a rock-gem-boosted power gem while both of Nim's Pokemon tanked a struggle bug and Draco ended Illumise with a psychic. Out next came Shelly's Vespiquen, and while I had Chubb heal Draco with another super potion, Shelly healed Hearther with an ultra potion and Draco outsped and OHKO'd Vespiquen with a psychic! Shelly then sent out her ace, Bugsy the Volbeat, and while a much weaker Chubb did some damage to Heather with a power gem after tanking an ancientpower and a struggle bug, Draco managed to KO Bugsy with a single psychic! Only Heather remained, but it managed to take out Chubb with a struggle bug while Draco (who became overleveled) refused to fight because HEY LOOK A KITTEN! Nim sent out Harry, and while Draco fell to an air cutter, Harry was able to take Heather down with a fire pledge, ending the fight! With that over with, it's time to go report Corey's death to Ame... after we get new team members, of course. The team so far:
-
Update #15: You're Not My Mom, You Can't Tell Me What To Do! Well, Victoria wasn't too bad, but Nim was using a team that was super-effective against everything she had, so... yeah. Anyway, Nim led with Ron, and Victoria led with Scraggy. Ron set up a miracle eye, then tanked a high jump kick and ended the Scraggy with a psyshock! Up next came Victoria's Poliwrath, and while Ron managed to seriosuly damage it with a psyshock, it shuffled him out for Chubb with a circle throw. Chubb damaged it with a psybeam while Victoria healed it with a super potion, and then hit Victoria's Gallade with a psybeam on the switch when Victoria swapped Poliwrath out for it. Chubb tanked a shadow sneak and confused it with a confuse ray before getting off one last psybeam, but fell to two brick breaks. Luckily, Hermonie was able to do much better, tanking a shadow sneak and doing serious damage to Gallade with three air slashes, taking it down and making Victoria use up her other super potion! Victoria sent her Poliwrath back out, and Nim sent Ron back out, who took it down with a mighty psyshock! Up next came Victoria's Hariyama, so I sent out Ginny, who stole the Hariyama's sitrus berry with a trick and tanked a brick break and a knock off to do massive damage with a psybeam. Victoria quickly swapped Hariyama out for her Emboar, though, but Ginny took it out with two psybeams before it could even attack! All that remained was Hariyama, and while it was able to KO Draco with a knock off, it wasn't able to beat Hermonie, who took it down with an air slash! Onward to Shelly! The team so far:
-
Hey, thanks! I set up a miracle eye on it, which negated its dark-type immunity. You never know when that might come in handy, y'know? Anyway... Update #14: Turn on the Dark Well, Aster and Eclipse weren't all that bad. Nim led with one of her newest team members, Draco the Gothorita (yes, I know I said that I would name her Gothitelle Ebony, but it turned out to be male and had good IVs, so I decided against it), Victoria led with Emboar, and Aster and Eclipse led with Solrock and Lunatone. Lunatone got burned by a fire punch while both Solrock and Lunatone set up rock polishes, and Draco managed to corrupt the field into a Dark Crystal Cavern with a mighty dark pulse, doing enough damage to Lunatone to KO it from burn damage! Up next came Aster and Eclipse's Rhyhorn, and while it set up stealth rock Solrock got off a heat wave; luckily, Draco and Emboar managed to take it down with a dark pulse/fire punch combo! Out next came Aster and Eclipse's Magmar, and it confused Draco while Emboar whiffed a sucker punch, Rhyhorn did some considerable damage to Draco with a dragon rush, and Draco did some damage to Rhyhorn with a dark pulse. Poor Draco fainted to a fire spin the next turn, but Emboar was at least able to fire off a mighty sucker punch on Magmar and tank a dragon rush from Rhyhorn. Nim sent out Shepherd the Staryu, another one of our new teammates, and while xe took some damage from a fire spin xe and Emboar were able to fire off a mighty brine/arm thrust combo, ending the Rhyhorn! Aster and Eclipse sent out their Electabuzz next, and it managed to take out Shepherd with a shock wave while Emboar got trapped in a fire spin; fortunately, Emboar did serious damage to Electabuzz with a fire punch, so the turn wasn't all bad. I sent out our final new team member, Ginny the Mr. Mime, and she tanked a fire spin and damaged Magmar with a psybeam while Emboar took out Aster and Eclipse's Electabuzz with a fire punch! Aster and Eclipse sent out their Milotic next, and while Magmar got off a fire spin on Emboar, Ginny and Emboar did some serious damage to Milotic with a psybeam/fire punch combo before Milotic shuffled Emboar out for Victoria's Hariyama with a dragon tail. Aster and Eclipse tried healing Milotic with a super potion, but Ginny and Hariyama managed to KO it with a knock off and a psybeam! All that remained was Aster and Eclipse's Magmar, and while it did manage to take out Ginny with a feint attack, Hariyama was able to seriously injure it with a brick break, allowing Hermonie to swoop in and KO it with an air slash! With that done with, it's time to find a doctor for Shelly! The team so far:

Update #13: Miasma Mania Well, I have to admit, Corey was a lot harder than I expected! Maybe it was because he had a bug/poison type and a poison/dark type, but I had to grind up my team to beat him. Anyway, on TEH URN, Nim led with Hermonie, and he led with Qwilfish. Despite this, Hermonie managed to take the Quilfish down with a single confusion! Up next came Corey's Swalot, so Nim quickly healed Hermonie up with a super potion while Swalot got off a shadow ball. Hermonie then knocked it down to the red while tanking a venoshock, followed by both sides using a super potion on each of their respective Pokemon. Hermonie then annihilated it with a confusion, leading to Corey sending out his Nidoqueen. Hermonie got off one last confusion before falling to an ice punch, and so Nim sent out Ron, who outsped the Nidoqueen and took it down with a psyshock! Corey decided to stop messing around and sent out his Scolipede, so Nim sent out Harry, who tanked a poison tail and got off an ember. The Scolipede launched a rock tomb, and I prepared for the worst... but to my amazement it missed! This let Harry KO it with another ember, resulting in Corey sending out his Skuntank. Nim sent out Ron, and he set up a miracle eye while tanking a night slash. He fell to a second night slash, but was at least able to get off a psyshock before fainting. Nim sent Harry back out, and he just barely survived a night slash to KO Skuntank with a psybeam before succumbing to poison damage. All that remained was Corey's ace, Crobat. Nim swapped out to Chubb (now a Grumpig!), and he confused it while it set up a nasty plot. I pretty much thought the battle was over by this point, but Crobat managed to injure itself, and Chubb managed to tank a venoshock to do massive damage with two psybeams, even confusing the Crobat the turn it snapped out of confusion! Chubb succumbed to poison damage, so I sent out Neville, who took out the Crobat with a psybeam while it injured itself in confusion, ending the fight! And so, Nim gets... jack-diddly squat, except for a front-row seat to Corey's suicide. Rejuvenation spoilers: The team so far:

Update #12: Neville X Hermonie Best Ship Well, the Double battle against Taka and ZEL was pretty tough at first, but once I managed to play all my cards right I managed to breeze through it! Anyway, on TEH URN, Nim led with Harry and Neville, Taka led with Lileep, and ZEL led with Glaceon. Harry landed a fire spin on Glaceon and tanked an ice fang, and Neville set up a nasty plot while Lileep confused Harry. Harry, despite being confused, managed to land an ember on Glaceon, and Neville set up a second nasty plot while Galceon and Lileep teamed up on him with an ice fang and a confuse ray before Galceon promptly succumbed to fire spin damage. ZEL sent out their Jolteon next, and Harry and Neville both whacked themselves in the faces before Harry fainted to a thunder fang and an ancientpower. Nim sent out Flak to avenge Harry, and she tanked a double kick and dented Jolteon with a psybeam before getting confused; Neville, meanwhile, continued to injure himself. Neville was getting pretty worn down by this point, so Flak used her turn to heal Neville while Jolteon and Lileep ganged up on her with a charge beam and an ancientpower; luckily, Neville finally snapped out of confusion and did massive damage to Jolteon with a psybeam! ZEL quickly healed Jolteon, but it was no use, as Neville knocked it back down to the red with a psybeam while tanking an ancientpower (Poor Flak KO'd itself in confusion)! With Flak down, I sent out Ron next, and he set up a light screen and tanked a charge beam while Neville ended the Jolteon; sadly, Ron got confused by a confuse ray from Lileep. Despite this, he still managed to land a charm on Umbreon; Umbreon countered with a feint attack, and Neville managed to do chip damage with a headbutt before getting confused. Ron injured himself in confusion, as did Neville, and Umbreon did some serious damage with a feint attack as Lileep set up an ingrain. Things didn't get much better the next turn; Neville got hit with a yawn and hurt himself, while Ron got hit with an ancientpower (although Ron did land a charm on Umbreon). Ron fainted the next turn to a feint attack, but was at least able to land a charm before fainting; Neville, meanwhile, was able to land one last headbutt while tanking an ancientpower before falling asleep. I decided to stop playing around and sent out the ace up my sleeve: Hermonie, who had learned calm mind! Hermonie set up a calm mind while Neville slept and Umbreon and Lileep got off a quick attack/mega drain combo on Neville; she then set up another calm mind while both Umbreon and Lileep confused her with a confuse ray and Neville kept sleeping. Hermonie injured herself the next turn and got hit by a feint attack the next turn, but Neville then managed to wake up, tank a mega drain, and do some damage with a headbutt. Fortunately, the next turn, Hermonie managed to land a mighty air cutter on both Umbreon and Lileep, and Neville did some more damage with a headbutt while just barely tanking a feint attack and a mega drain. Hermonie then fell asleep, but was woken up by Neville with an awakening and ended Umbreon with a mighty air cutter while Lileep, rather than target Neville and go for the kill, tried to hit Hermonie with a mega drain. ZEL sent out their Espeon, and Nim healed Neville while Hermonie ended Lileep and seriously injured Espeon with a mighty air cutter! Espeon managed to land a psybeam on Neville, but he survived it (although he did get confused). Taka's Gligar came out, but it and Espeon fell to an air cutter! Taka then sent out the mission keystone, the PULSE Tangrowth, but the poor thing went down to a single air cutter/psybeam combo. Taka's Kelfki came out next, and while it was able to set up a reflect, it took massive damage from a psybeam and an air cutter. Taka tried healing it, but it still fell to a mighty air cutter/ psybeam combo. All that remained was Taka's Chatot, but it fell to a mighty air cutter before it could even attack! With that done, the mysterious overseer of the PULSE-Tangrowth project is revealed... and shock-horror, it's Corey, the gym leader I was going to fight! Let's bring him to justice! The team so far:
