    In Shiro's case, Shun was the one actually doing something with the Shadow Sneak, and by her own will and idea. In a battle, your plan/strategy/whatever always needs to have a flaw the opponent can take advantage of if they're smart/skiled enough. You can't have a bulletproof plan, even more so a plan you came up with in the heat of battle. Like with Shun's Shadow Sneak. I could've won if Turbo hadn't thought of a plan, but he did and Shun's plan backfired, ultimately resulting in Shiro's loss. I tried to get Shiro to win, but I failed. Just don't battle as if you're an all-knowing entity controling the Pokemon. Battle like a 14/15 year old kid would. That's all I have to say for now. :I

    Here's a good example: Say Mudkip uses Water Gun on a Rattata. In your head, you know it would take out around 30% of its HP, but your opponent only says it only did 10%. Four Water Guns is a lot different than 10 to KO a pokemon. Using the 15% rule would likely make your opponent knock off 20% instead (5KO) which is a big difference. Well, hopefully you people here aren't dickheads so you won't do things like that. c:

Shiro, do you need me to ask one of them to come over? It looks at least one of the judges are not busy now." "Yeah..." He muffled. "But I'll come with you..." He added after a few moments of hestation. "I... I think it might be because of how I handled the last battle... She seems rather prideful..." 'And dickish' - Shush, head voice! "Shun, will you be alright?" Shiro waited a few moments, but got no response. "I guess that means you will... Anyways, we'll be right back."

    "She attacked Shun and me!" Shiro told to the other boy before turning back to Danielle. "But it'd be easy if it was just the lack of Poke balls! Tal is rejecting me! I can feel it, she will never accept me... I'm not good enough..." Shiro continued as Tal slowly regained conciousness thanks to the water. "Shun, keep her still, please..." Shun dropped the stick, nodded, and did the shadow thingy. Tal woke up iglued onto the floor, and she immediately started freaking out again. "Runt, runt!" She cried but Shun wouldn't let go. Tal glared aat everybody around her as if she were wishing them dead. "RUNT!" Shiro turned. "What to do now... I need to get someone to help..." A quick glance to the right revealed a possibility. The dragon professor was still there, supervising battles. Maybe he'd be able to help. But Shiro didn't want to interrupt... "Shun, ca-" Shun nodded. She knew what he was going to say, so there was no need for him to actually speak. "Haha, ok then..."

    Tal was knocked unconcious by Shun's strike, and was laying down on the floor infront of Corona. "Oh god, I'm sorry!" Shiro came running owards Danielle. When he got there, he first checked Tal and then turned to Danielle. "I don't know what happened! Tal broke out of control..." He said, frantically pointing at the knocked out Snorunt. "IdonthaveanypokeballsWhatamIgonnado?!" All that time, Shun was picking at Tal with a stick. It apparently amused her.

    I just find it silly. I mean, if you really want a shiny, then just write you found it in the wild or something :I @chim: I'm not gonna ask you to take away their shinies. Live and let live, and that shiz EDIT: She broke free, destroyed the ball, and was already starting a counterattack. Good?

    How did people get shiny Pokemon from the poke balls at school? I certainly wouldn't put random shiny Pokemon in a batch I was gonna give away to random kids. Anyhow, Tal is rather pissed at Shiro cuz of what happened in the last battle. She just did it, whatevs. If it bothers you so much, lets have her destroy the ball when Shiro throws it at her.

    Tal stood up pridefully over the remains of her Poke ball. HER Poke ball. "She broke out of her own Poke ball!?" "Ruru!" The sassy Snorunt was ready for more, and she was charging up another Ice Shard. "Ruru!" Shun cried again, taking a defensive stance with her hands infront of her determined face. "Shun, are you crazy? You... you can't take a direct hit like that!" Shiro tried stepping infront of Shun but she signaled him with her hand not to. "But-" "Ru!" Tal shot out three shards directly at Shun. "Shun!" With the gracefulness of a dancer, Shun spun around two of the shards perorming a piruette, but she couldn't avoid the third one, and it stroke directly into her arms, breaking into a cloud of tiny, glass like shards which enveloped Shun and Shiro. Shiro protected his eyes from the shards. Panic slowly took over him as he evaluated their situation. 'What should we do? Tal won't listen to me! And she broke her own Poke ball... How is that even possible? It's not like she was a wild Pokemon or aynthing. I was just returning her to her own Poke ball. And it was our last Poke ball!' A blow of icy cod wind got rid of the cloud and Shiro could open his eyes again. Tal was charging right at them with more Ice Shards following her. 'We can't catch her... She won't stop... What should we do?' It struck him then, and he commanded Shun what to do. "Confusion!" "Ruru!" Shun's eyes turned green as she materialized a pinkish blob around her hand. Shiro noticed a bruise from the impact of the Ice Shard on it. Shun took a step forward, her face revealing no emotions. Tal reacted to Shun's new plan, and she stopped, jumping backwards while she shot the Ice Shards at Shun. "Shun, watch out!" But there was no need to worry. Shun used the Confusion attack to break the shards, and continued charging at Tal. With one swipe, Shun defeated Tal, throwing her like a toy using her telekinetic abilities. The confusion attack exploded as Shun's fist struck Tal's face, throwing her away from them and straight into the unsuspecting Danielle.

    "Tal!" Shiro called out through the crowd around the fields. "Tal, where are you?" The pesky Snorunt ran off as soon as he had released her from her Poke ball, not before glaring at Shiro at putting her nose up high, of course. And now Shiro and Shun were chasing after her. Well, it was more like playing hide and seek, because they had no idea where she went. Shiro stopped to catch a breath, putting Shun to the ground. "Huf... Shun, do you have any idea where she might've went?" Shun just shook her head. "... Why would she even do that!?" Shiro continued. "I mean... why..." Shiro was interrupted by the sound of something flying right next to his ear at a blazing speed. Spontaneously, he spun together with Shun just to see Tal, standing around 20 meters behind them, right next to a field where a battle between two boys was taking place. Shiro saw a Dwebble and Combee dominating the field. The other guy was having some problems. But it was unimportant. He had to get Tal back. "Tal! Come here!" He tried calling for her by waving his hands. She just rose her head up even higher, revealing a big smirk on her dark face. She shook her cone before attacking again. Another Ice Shard, but this time targeting Shun. "Shun, look out!" "Ruru!" Shun threw herself to the ground, rolling over just to avoid the attack. She stopped right in the stance for Shadow Sneak. Shiro smiled. "Good idea, Shun! It'll be easier to catch her if we immobilize her first!" He shouted as Shun's horn glowed a purple hue, and his shadow started changing shape. "Shun, Shadow Sneak!" The shadows streched all the way to Tal, grabbing her chubby feet. She was unable to move, but she didn't even try breaking out of Shun's shadowy grasp. Tal still had that confident smirk on her face. "Stop that, Tal!" Shiro took out her Poke ball, throwing it directly at the Snorunt. She dissapeared in a white flash the moment she came in contact with the ball, and Shun released his shadows. "Good job..." Shiro turned to Shun with a bit of an worried expression on his face. "But why would she do that? I thought we were partners." Shun shrugged, seemingly unfazed by the events. The sight of her calmed Shiro's heart a bit. "Oh well, we got her back, so it's all fi-" Shiro bounced back, interrupted by a loud bang almost akin to the sound of a gunshot. He turned to see Tal back out of the ball, standing next to it's remnants. She broke free, destroyed the ball, and was already starting a counterattack.

    "Shiro, when... Tal, right?... is healed up, come stop by and watch! I still have to battle and I love company!" "I'll, I'll keep that in mind..." He said and turned towards the healing station, with Shun happily chirping on his shoulder. It was still a bit awkward for Shiro, but Shun was stil Shun. If Shun had always been a female, then the fact he learned it just now should not change anything. When Shiro made his way to the Nurse, she kindly greeted him and took both Shun and Tal. Tal was able to be healed with the help of a machine since she was in her Poke ball, but Shun needed direct medical attention from the Nurse. After a bit of tinkering around, the Nurse returned the two Pokemon to Shiro. "Thank you..." Shiro mumbled before leaving back the way he went.

    "Shun, dear, you don't have to prove anything. I believe you and Shiro, honest! I was only teasing, as I have a habit of doing. Henry is too. And, like he said, sleeping with a Pokemon who happened to be of the opposite gender is really no big deal. There are people who sleep with Pokemon that way all over the place! We are not judging you any less." Shun immediately put her hands up, as if she was being targeted by a gun, revealing the scar on left palm. The scar extended from where her pinky would be all the way to the other side diagonally. It wasn't pleasant looking, but it wasn't anything really bad either, as it could barely be seen on Shun's pale skin. Shiro sighed. "Well, don't do that again!" He grasped Shun closer to himself, like a kid holding his plushie. He blushed a bit as he did so. "It's fine... I'm fine. Shun is... Shun is fine as well." And with those words, Shun smiled. "This... won't be an issue..." He tried to sound like he was sure, but his voice was trembling. "But now... I should be off to the medical station. I need to take care of Tal..."

    "In fact, if you need any girl advice, you are always free to ask me!" "No, Daniele, you're wrong..." Shiro backed away from the girl, putting his hands (still holding Shun) between them, like some sort of shield. "Shun is a girl, look!" He said as he shook the little fella'. Shun didn't seem to bother. In fact, she was ready to help Shiro. She knew his feelings for her haven't changed for real, so she could remain calm. S "Ruru!" Shun reached for the lower end of her bag like body, ready to reveal herself. "Shun, no, what're you doing!?" "You had me worried there for a second. I thought you and that Lana girl were...how should I put it...learning about Digletts." Shiro turned to Henry. "Diglett? No, I already know everything I ned to know about them, and I'm sure Lana does too!" He tried to counterattack. "And Shun, put your hands down! You don't need to show her! There are other ways to convince her..." Cornered, Shiro continued moving backwards, slowly but surely. "Shun is a girl, believe me!"

    Shiro spun around as a hand touched his shoulder. "Hi, Shiro! Looks like Shun recovered from the burn from yesterday! So, what's up?" It was Danielle, glaring at him like some sort of a vulture. There was a peculiar glimmer in his eyes, and he didn't like the look of it. "Uhm, Danielle... hi." He began awkwardly. "Yeah... Shun recovered from the burn, and he's... I mean, she's..." He shouted as he pointed dramatically at the confused Shun. "Shun is a girl! Oh god, Shun is a girl... That big professor guy told me after we had lost the battle... I don't know what to do now with everything... Shun was my friend... And now I'm just confused, everything is so weird all of a sudden." "Ruru?" "Huh?" Shun was at his right foot. When did she manage to move all the way to his leg? She was there- 'Oh, Shadow Sneak...' "Ruru!" Shun threw herself at Shiro's leg, holding it tightly with her short hands. "Shun..." Not really sure what to do, Shiro picked Shun up, and tok a good look at her. Nothing was different, it was the same old Shun. And he remembered how much he loved Shun, always... ever since they knew each other. EDIT (ninja'd): It was then when Henry suddenly came around. "Hey Shiro, is there something you're not telling me? I know you're a growing boy, but can you please not do that stuff while I'm your roommate. I really don't want to be the person to give you talk because it'd be awkward for both of us." It took a few seconds for Shiro to get what he was talking about. "Nonono, it's not what you think!" He practically jumped up out of embarassment. He really shouldn't have shouted it out like that. "It's just that... Shun is a girl... The teacher told me after he examined Shun..."

    "I was sleeping with a girl!" Shiro scooted around the field, holding his head frantically as if he wanted to rip his hair out. He could not believe what he had heard right now... but the prof didn't seem like a person very fond of jokes. And if he'd been telling the truth, then Shun also would never be able to become a Gallade. 'This is bad, dude. What're you gonna do about it?' Shun was a girl... Shun was a girl... "Oh god... Shun is a girl!" All that time, Shun just observed Shiro with a somewhat curious look on her face. She had always known she was female, but she could never quite get Shiro to notice her real gender, so she just let him live in the illusion. Turns out it was a mistake keping the truth from him. He seemed quite shocked by the news, and she could feel it. Her trainer was lost and it was her job as his partner to help him get back on his feet. But still, she was unsure whether or not she should come in contact with him while he was in such a state...
