  1. Flying type? Hmm, nothing comes to mind immediately, but I'll take a look and get back to you. Something that sounds airy... Would you prefer fast or slow, upbeat or serious, maybe even happy or sad?
  2. Found one more dark sounding theme. Definitely an overworld crisis theme, and more pokemonesque I suppose. I'll link the others momentarily. 1. Drought and Flood Fusion 2. Shadows Vigilante 3. Dark Impetus 4. L'Impeto Oscuro
  3. Ooh. A dark spy theme, huh? Alright, I got something. For a battle theme, I would recommend Dark Impetus or L'Impeteo Obscuro (a remix version) from the kingdom hearts series. For an overworld theme/ encounter theme I recommend Shadow's Vigilante by Approaching Nirvana. It has a dark, sneaky, shit's hitting the fan kind of feel. On the topic of character development... How much screen time each character gets depends on the Length and events of the story. Take Reborn for example. So far each gym leader has had a good amount of story. However, if you look at the difference between Serra and Charlotte, the latter gets more development and appearances since she is more involved with the story and events. It all depends on how involved you want the characters to be really. Some will be less involved than others, but who fills what role is your call. I'm not sure if putting a mega on the first leader is the best idea. Around the 6th should be okay, but unless the player has level 30+ pokes on gym 1, it would be too OP
  4. Welcome to the asylum. You're stuck now, so don't try to escape. The last guy who did that crashed the website. We don't like to talk about what happened to him. Throw your sanity out now before it festers snd grows into rational thoughts, k? If you have any questions, feel free to ask anyone here. Hope you enjoy your stay! cause you ain't leaving
  5. Sorry! Didn't realize there were more pages, I was on 6. Blame the mobile internet browser. Also, I was wondering if you needed any help sorting out music for battles, routes, etc. I spend a crap ton of time listening to all kinds of remixes, so if you need any help with that just ask
  6. Instructions unclear. Got my hand stuck in a drainage pipe. Help me, Aqua!
  7. I leave for half a day and all this pops up. Alright, lucky number 8! By that point, ice should still be somewhat of a threat. Im still wracking my head over Mamoswine. Also I had this one story idea, feel free to reject. Gym leaders are all supposed to be connected and know each other, right? So what if the leader of gym 7, the split personality one, was once a friend of my character, but something (his growing affiliation with Scorpio) drove them to hate each other? Just a bit of character background.
  8. Start predicting people! Shia, what do you think we need to do to get them to remember?
  9. Really I meant it as a joke field/weather. I doubt anyone would actually use it seriously. But I wanna see people rage
  10. Well, she started the revolution so she should be proud. I think we need a subform for demos so they're easier to find among all the posts. Reckless Staraptor HURTS. Depending on your placement I would replace Noivern with a different dragon/flying type. Actually considering it evolves late, go ahead and replace it. Mega Zard Y.... Alright, sure. Also placement dependent. Consider Flame Orb+ Guts Swellow. It's a pain to deal with. But that would mean Megamence... Actually, your trainer card team looks solid. You have a lot of options
  11. I edited the post a bit. Looking for ice shard replacement on Mamo, although base 80 speed isn't great. Definitely going for evasion on Glace. No one really sees it coming. As for SR, I don't know if the tm will be available when my gym is challenged, and any rock(/ground) type who dares to try and set up will get a waterfall/ ice move to the face. As for Rotom, utility would greatly improve my team's survivability, because ice is pretty much the worst defensive type I can use all the bulk I can get.
  12. I'm hoping I can pull a Crawli and have hail be the overworld weather condition. That way it's permanent until changed by the player, which is a viable strategy. Ice field, if implemented, does the same job nicely. That being said, I'll get to editing my previous post now.
  13. Ehehehe... If you really want to rage at someone, rage at whoever thought inverse-field Noel was a good idea. Foggy field could have been possible, if not for mist. Ah well
  14. IIRC garchomp only 2x resists fire. Also, I'm not too familiar with Starmie, but it's fast so I don't think analytic is very good on it. I dunno what the alternative is, so I could be wrong. Beware of the pranksters too, cause they can paralyze you first. Or burn. Only a problem for Gardevoir, Starmie, and Weavile, but since Celebii lacks heal bell it should be noted. Just me acting like I know what I'm doing....
  15. In Pennsylvania dropping my sis off at college. Leaving tomorrow. I'm so jealous of her...

Mostly debt from my experience. Wayyyy better than grades k-12 though. Hands down.

  16. Would be cool if we could somehow squeeze all the eevees in the game. Also quick question, what do I replace with double team on Glaceon?
  17. You're probably right. I'm doing this based off my showdown battles. Now to solve the hail issue... Perma hail please...
  18. If I were to go with dual screens Rotom I could use it as my lead. My major worry is entry hazards, Stealth Rocks specifically. I wanted to run a hail team originally, hence Glaceon, but the only two pokemon with Snow Warning aren't very good. Aboma has wayyy too many weaknesses. Additionally, this battle will probably end up being singles, since Earthquake hits everything on the field. I can replace Glaceon grudgingly but I'll need another special nuke...
  19. Great advice, thanks man. I can't make edits now but I will asap.
  20. Probably not going to be on much today. My computer is incapacitated, I'm in car, my phone has 16% left and my charger broke. FML. I'll be on when I get a new charger. I need a hug...

  21. Alright, I'm gonna try this now. Name: Snow should be fine. Gym title is Cryokinetic. Appearance: About 18 years old. Dark skin, sliver-blue hair and eyes. Clothes like the ones on my trainer card sprite. Team: 1.Cloyster w/ focus sash Adamant nature Skill link Shell smash Icicle spear Rock blast Waterfall 2. Weavile w/ Scope lens Jolly nature Pressure Night Slash Poison Jab (suck it faries) Icicle Crash Brick Break 3. Glaceon w/ Brightpowder Modest nature Blizzard Shadow Ball HP fighting/ water pulse (you chose, though I think hp fight works best) Double Team 4. Mamoswine w/ Life orb Adamant nature Thick fat Earthquake Icicle crash Iron head Ice shard(priority)/Maaybe Curse. It's not exactly fast atm. Other options include Body slam or something. This last slot is a total wild card. 5. Rotom-Frost w/ light clay Timid nature Thunderbolt/ Discharge (higher para chance) Light screen Blizzard Reflect 6. Glalie w/ Glalite Jolly Nature Double-edge Super fang Crunch Earthquake Personality: My idea was to have him be a supporting character. The Cheren to your BW2 if you will. Someone who helps the player from time to time, like helping them fight Black November and such. Eventually the player battles him and earns his badge. Snow is a slightly mysterious character. Holding a personal vendetta against Scorpia, he wants nothing more than their end. Something about his past. Although cold towards them, he is warm and friendly towards everyone else, never hesitating to help a person in need. He's always the one to come up with an attack plan. Also a class A smart ass. Sprites: HAHAHAHAHA, NO. I have no idea how to do that. Maybe I should learn. Or learn scripting or something. Give me a year and I'll be ready to start composing music and stuff. Quotes: Before entering the gym: Oh! Hey, <player>! What brings you to (insert city)? ... So you're challenging the gym, huh? Alright, but the gym leader here is no walk in the park. Who is it? Why none other than yours truly~ See you inside! Pre- Battle: So you finally made it! I was getting bored. Welcome to the (insert city) gym. You've done well to make it this far, but this world is a cold harsh, and unforgiving one. If you want to make it in this world, you need to carve your own path, and that takes willpower. Can you match my will? If so you will succeed, if not... Prepare to get frozen in your tracks! Let's go! Last pokemon: It's not over yet... Defeated: I knew I saw something in you. You have the will to brave even the strongest of snow storms. Congratulations, you've earned the ___badge! Post battle: That was fun. You're really something else. You know what that means, right? I'll be counting on you to help me beat Scorpio! Battle theme: X and Y legendary remix by GlitchxCity. It's like my character, lively and mysterious. Encounter music: Gaur plains daytime. Not sure if this'll actually be a thing, just wanted to put it out there. PS, I was planning on learning scripting and mapping and stuff. Once I get started, I'd love to help out wherever I can. Music will have to wait, unfortunately...
  22. Ugh. It's early. And I'm awake. Why? Traveling. Sigh

  23. Salut ! Je m'appelle Snow. Tu es français? Je suis américain, mais j'apprends français depuis neuf ans à l'école. Maintenant, je vais aller au lycée, alors je ne suis pas très bon au français .... J'ai beaucoup de choses apprendre. Bienvenue! Si tu as une question, juste me demande. J'espère tu as une bonne fois ici! Oh gosh I hope I didn't mess too much up. I'm only in french 2, so I'm not very advanced... Please excuse any grammatical errors you find, Merci!
  24. I really shouldn't be awake, but once I start thinking about something there's no way I can fall asleep easily

  25. My phone crashed 5 times while writing this. Screw you safari. So at this point I think it's safe to say that my leader's placement will have a huge effect on my team. I was hoping for a mid-game placement like 7-10th. Mega Aboma is slooooow, so I can see where you're coming from. The thing with Glalie is that there isn't much coverage. Two sole ice types wasn't the plan, but I might have to go with it. Glaceon has one of two roles. The first, which I originally planned to go with, is the hyper offensive trolly set. Hail+Brightpowder+Snow Cloak while firing off stupidly powerful blizzards. It works surprisingly well. Add Shadow ball and HP fighting, mirror coat, or even Water pulse and you have a monster. Although it is a bit slow (but 65/110/95 can take a hit or two I think). The other is bulky with ice body+leftovers and wish, protect, baton pass, blizzard or something like that. Additionally if Aboma goes then Rotom -F is a must. Can't have water types walling us. Yeah, shell smash+Focus sash Cloyster was the plan. It would be the first mon out, so entry hazards don't ruin it. Jynx is good if I'm an early game leader, but after that it's just too frail. Aurorus and Avalugg are risky. Aurorus mostly because steel and fighting moves will ruin it, although it has good abilities. Avalugg is the slower, physical Cryogonal. Right now I'm thinking... Cloyster M-Glalie Weavile Rotom-F Glaceon Mamoswine Not the fastest team, but definitely deadly. Only major problem is hail setup. An ice field or perma-hail would remedy that.
