Pokémon Academy: Ch 3: Winter Cup [IC]
TurboAura replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Watching as the Shiftry did it's explanation, Kiai 'calmed down' and glared at Jet, making it obvious that he should stop as well. While reluctantly, Jet backed off as he saw Kiai glare over, getting the hint that it should just be left to Robert. 'I swear, if he's wrong about this, I'm attacking that Shiftry, with or without help.' Before the second slap hit, the wheels turned in Robert's head and he started to understand what was going on. He turned back to the Shifty, getting ticked at what he could get from the symbols. "So, this about what happened with Shiro? I don't know who's pokemon you are, or why I should even tell you what's on going, but you put off that you atleast know a big enough part of it and plan to know the rest." He sighed deeply, ready to get whatever needed out. "That part where you were flexing your muscles, that was meant as 'be strong,' correct? If you're implying that as 'man up,' two problems with that. And if you actually knew what I've had to go through, I can't see why you'd be slapping me around like a rag doll for it." "First off, it wasn't ME that wanted to leave Shiro's side. If it was my choice, I would've been with Shiro as much as I could and done my full effort to make him feel better. But I told him that 'whatever he wants, I'll do' to give him a choice, and he wanted to go back to his room... alone. And in full truth, I can't blame him to much for that. He seemed even worse then than he did when I actually got to his room in an attempt to cheer him up earlier." His hands tightened into fists, not really angry at the Shiftry as much, but how things had went down. "Even when I asked if I could atleast help him back in the condition he was in, Anna, his cousin since I doubt you'd get that, burst in, 'took care of it,' and Shiro seemed fine with her taking care of it. And since Shiro decided that he wanted to go back and me to stay before she came in, I accepted it and followed his choice." "Now, if that sign of 'be strong' has anything to do how I was here before you came around, I can make it pretty clear; He's leaving here. I don't actually know when he has to leave, and I doubt I'll actually see him in the near future, but he's leaving the school and there's nothing either of us can do about it. So yeah, of course I'm depressed that I'm losing my friend when I have no control over it. But like I said before, it was his decision to be alone and his choice takes priority." At the end of his rant, he looked straight at the Shiftry, his current state distracting him from his depression. "In full truth, I don't care what you think, I did what I could to make things better and I'm dealing with what I was left to. And even if you really think slapping me is going to help, thinking I could've done better, then go ahead, but it won't make me ABLE to do anything more." He emphasized the part about actually being able to do so, cringing at it himself. In his mind he did all he could do, but it was nowhere near what was necessary. As that settled in his mind, all he could do was watch the Shiftry's reaction.- 1255 replies

@Azery: Wait, was Ragnarok just not one of the three James was using for the tournament?

19 Not much else we can do when we provided that option for Jericho.
-
11 Well technically 'Almost as bad as 70' started as a joke on 69... Atleast I think that's right from what I've seen.
-
9 Well then, guess it was doomed to happen at some point. @Azery: Nice new username.
-
66 Hehe, yeah. lol
-
64 @K_H: Guess that's true. And finally, found Snorunt's replacement.

59 Well when you're the one person who has the power to delete anything that happened in the past, Resetti's purpose has some meaning.
-
43 Found some pics whenever we... 'Meet with that terrible fate' of Reseting. Edit: Dang it, Iapparently can't put the pictures up myself. NVM. Derp.

An initial sense of shock took hold of Robert as he took the slap and turned back, his hand covering where Shiftry just hit. It didn't hurt anything like it would if he actually aggrivated it, but it still stung as much as you'd expect from getting slapped with those fan-hands. 'What did I do? All I did was notice him and he slapped me?!' Before he could actually say anything, Kiai had began growling at the Shiftry as Jetstream flew by it's face, letting out a mix of cries, roughly translating to 'What do you think you're doing? Why, exactly, do you THINK you're allowed to slap my Master?!'- 1255 replies

@Chim: While I DO feel the Shiftry-slap is hilarious, Robert did leave Shiro in the bathroom reluctantly leaving him with Anna, who planned to take him back to his room, and Robert just back to the waiting room... So does Shiftry just know what happened from seeing it before-hand?
-
32 Hmm, indubitably.
-
16 Welcome to the club, Gentleman's Hat. So... how does a hat type?
-
Oh yeah... Welp, just me being to optimistic then too. Somehow, I remembered it as a lot less 'black and white,' but that's just me... The rest of my point still stands though.
-
Well even though Robert isn't a 'social butterfly,' he's an optimist and sees the best in people. Add to the fact that Robert, as far as I understand, has struck some good notes with Evan(might have that part wrong), and that makes the possibility seem better. As for how to handle it, my understanding of Mareek's view would be 'keep your friends close, your enemies closer, and the neutral closest so you know what they become.' The fact is, there needs to be true sentiments shown instead of 'friendship as a pivotal point'. If someone who can truely understand what Evan himself feels, that's the best answer. Otherwise, Claude's plan is best so far.

2 Perfect reset.
-
35 @ExLink: Well, if the comparison to how the Champion's room in Pokemon Origin is followed, that would make sense.
-
30 @ExLink: ...still hammering that nail in, huh? jk And I wonder what other, interesting fields we'll have access to, and what could make Lucario v. Donphan more 'entertaining'.
-
9 Hey, just to prove why you're able to reset it there. Otherwise, why would we give you more power to destroy us? lol
-
4 Well, that seems fair enough rules. @Jericho: Could you put the number containing 7 up when it happens so it's not as confusing? Just a suggestion.
-
Hmm, two interesting twists that are likely to have a big influence. Guess that means it's Kiai(Lucario) vs, I believe Donphan, since he used Glacien and Feroces. Now this battle could go either way, so I look forward to what happens.

As the match was about to begin, not only did the idea and execution of the field look amazing, what brought a big suprise was the restriction. 'So, that means that it'll just be Kiai out there then. Well he IS the strongest of them... Or at least, he should be able to hold his own well enough.' Turning to look over to see his partner, what he saw, and heard first, was the Shiftry behind him, giving him a jump of suprise. 'Just when did... where did that Shiftry come from?!' Kiai and Jet were just as suprised, not sure how exactly it took all of them until now to notice it. After the initial suprise faded, Robert simply shook his head and turned back towards the Shiftry. "Uh... Sorry about that, guess I didn't see you there."- 1255 replies
