    I feel FE: Awakening's story would feel much different if I were playing on Classic. I haven't been able to keep Virion alive pretty much any time I've used him.

      In either case I think normal difficulty level with classic mode turned on provides a better best experience than maniac with classic turned off.

      Nonetheless I think it's great that a person who wouldn't have played the game otherwise, can now get into the series thanks to the addition of the modes that permadeath.

      You know, many "Fans" say that turning off perma death makes the game too easy. well it's not like you have to beat the game before being able to turn it on
