  1. BIGJRA: For the one you seem to have found, there was a certain prerequesite that was far too difficult to get, so I removed that in this update.

    Asides from that, 1.2 is up, full changelog from 1.0 is as follows:

    Greatly edited Connor's dialogue.
    Removed Quiz, player now chooses between 8 starters in a new event.
    Edited many closed NPC's.
    Fixed Fairy typing and moves.
    Fixed Male PC1's hat.
    Fixed issue where cutscene with vulpix would repeat twice if returned to.
    Edited Connor's team, Vulpix now has heat rock, Fletchinder has oran berry rather than sitrus.
    Edited encounter rates in the caves.
    Edited encounter levels in all areas.
    Nerfed Connor's team slightly (Charmander switched for Chimchar as Dragon Rage too damn powerful)
    Made the helix cave puzzle easier.
    Fixed issue where Charmander couldn't be picked as a starter. (In the lab event.)

    Edit: Simon, upload it (Or PM me) and I'll have a look at it, because it was from an event that already occured it can't be fixed with a version change :/.

  2. Well I actually do have a plan for some of the difficult puzzles in the game, so here goes:

    The game will feature a number of "pieces", 2 of which are availible in the current release. (although none have been found.) These pieces will be useful later in getting... Something. (optional, will be awesome and useful but not necessary.)

    These puzzles aren't meant to be easy, but they are solvable, it just takes a little thought.

    Again, I'm making the Helix cave puzzle easier regardles.

  3. Following the bugfix version, what problems are there in the game now? It's pretty known that bugfixes create more bugs.

    The bidoof puzzle is actually able to be completed, the middle bidoof gives you a hint actually which I talked about in a previous post, if you talk to four bidoof in a particular order and then talk to the center one again, something might happen ~

  4. The cave with the nugget isn't very secret no, but maybe it goes even further?

    Eh, the prerequesites for this easter were too hard to meet, but this'll be fixed in the bugfix version (1.1) which I happen to be uploading right now.

    As for Braille, it's actually a fan favourite, so I thought I would put a simple one in there. Again, In 1.1 it's made a little easier (:

  5. My grammar quality wasn't perfect, I'll admit that, you wonder why I'm still in high school >.>

    Anyway, I've fixed most issues posted here, I didn't remove the quiz, instead I gave the player the ability to save after cutscene city so if they didn't want to use their destined starter they could restart. I think this is justified because the player gets the opportunity to choose an actual starter later.

    Bugfix will be out within the next two days :)

  6. This early on it is hard to tell, but I did add in two secret items (part of a collection) that will be of use later. One is obviously in the helix cave, the other is more... Hidden.

    I'm generous with puzzles this early so I'll spoil a bit, as for the bidoof cave puzzle you might notice four bidoof slightly seperated from the rest on the left, I wonder why?

    And as for the second item, maybe there are some secrets around the lake? ~

  7. Thanks guys for the nice comments! I'll fix the bugs in the next release. As for the issue with the player sometimes still being called "he", this is just habit, as of course I'm a guy. But never fear, ill have fixed that and broken my habit by the next release :)

  8. I'm aware of the Fern remake obviously, it's fine as long as credit is given. Besides, I'll get round to redoing it when I'm better at spriting. At the moment It's the point I can't deliver as strongly in. This obviously means one of my biggest jumps in Ep 2 will be improving in sprite and pixel art ^_^
