Sure it has good coverage but coming off that relatively weak base 85 Special Attack stat, it certainly isn't going to be broken in game. Especially when there's already the powerhouses that I mentioned above. You can make the case that Ame can't release it because Ground and Flying Gyms are coming up, but it's a snowy mountain.... you're trying to tell me that there won't be Ice types on a snowy mountain? There has to be some ice types and Lapras certainly isn't among the elite Ice types so I could see it appearing in Ep13 based off that. I still have no clue if it will of course. I also think Snorunt, Shelder ( Eh prolly to OP), Cryogonal, Walrein, Clampearl, Avalugg,and Beartic are all strong candidates to appear in the Ametrine Mountains.

How is Lapras too good...? It's in the lowest tier competitively, and Ame has released better mons than it already in Azumarril, Gyarados, Metagross, Gardevoir, Honchkrow, etc. So I see no reason why it wouldn't be in this next episode

Mawile isn't good without its Mega Stone. Sylveon is good, but in Reborn I don't think it can learn Hyper Voice, and in order to make it useful you would have to breed. Gardevoir is good because it learns good moves through level up like Psychic, Calm Mind, and Moonblast. In my opinion however, Azumarril is the best fairy type because it has one of the highest attack stats in the game and it gets good moves through level up like Aqua Tail, Superpower, and Play Rough.

A normal type would have good synergy because you have 2 things weak o ghost with no resistances, and normal types are weak to fighting which you already have 3 resistances to (not to mention you just beat the fighting gym). Snorelax would be ideal, and if you want I can give you Episode 9 of reborn so you can get it, but other decent options include Exploud, Tauros, Bouffallant, and Dodrio EDIT: If he used Venusaur he would have 2 weaknesses to flying and no resistances. And we have a flying Gym Battle coming up soon (Ciel). If he used Aggron he would have 2 weaknesses to ground and 1 immunity, but the upcoming Ground Gym Leader will probably have Mamoswine or Rhyperior etc to handle flying types.

Yeah, and the gym leaders that were in the League on PO are in this game, most having some type of correlation with their real life counterpart

I got my final team after I was done w/ the Azurine Island mission, where I picked up Wooper and Foongus, so thats before the Aya gym battle. Recently though, after I had finished episode 12, I learned Murkrow was in the game I went and picked that up so my very final team was done after the battle with Samson.

Ame said her goal is before the end of August but also said that it might not happen bc of her job in real life.

So uhh how does Shade fit into this equation..? Was he just a normal person and Ame made the character a ghostly spirit to enhancing the game, or is there a correlation between the real Shade and the character?

I'd go with Mamoswine because it has a huge attack stat and a great priority move, and somewhere down the line you will have to take on Saphira and having Mamo will be a huge asset for that battle. Mamo is just a cooler pokemon in general imo

Replace rain dance on Gyarados with Bounce which is a powerful STAB flying type attack (85BP), which can be taught from the Agate Circus move tutor for shards.
