Welcome to gen VI breeding mechanic !! After 1 hour playing to finish ep 13.1 (beleive it or not, Charlotte cannot even lay ONE-SINGLE-HIT to my teamates....maybe i can named my team is "fast and furious"), i spend another couple of hours to...breeding (again ), and here's some advices for some new-mates to "abuse" this critical-changes from gen V to gen VI breeding mechanic 1, Conkeldurr finally. Some good uses from this beast. Mach Punch + Drain Punch + Iron fist. The idea of using this little monster is simple: EVs spread to increase Sp.def bulk, while Bulk up as many as you think it can to get more physical buff (both power and bulk). After that: Drain Punch to heal off the damage when set up- and Mach Punch to fast kill. Simple. And Stone edge for Ghost and Flying type. We don't have Assault Vest yet, and of course we all know that Ame is not "angelic" enough to give us elemental punch or Knock Off move tutor----> so this is definitely the best set for Conkel. IMO, Guts is better (when Guts actives, Conkel's Mach Punch is even more power than Technician Mach from Breloom), but THIS is not competitive. The AIs almost always attack you more than spread status around, and we don't have Status Orb yet. 2, Azumarill Belly drum and Aqua jet. It's too famous. Just send this Azumarill in the "right moment" (something cannot take away more than half of your gigantic HP), then Belly Drum.... Trust me, in competitive, when you see "that" happen, you know that you will have to do something really quick before this little fairy wreck your team. But we are talking about AIs.... (i have never got a chance to test this monster when facing any gym leaders- but in the future i'll try at least each leader facing this monster SOLO 1 vs 6, and we'll see what happen )) p/s: except the EVs for atk, I just spread some speed EVs for personal interested (112), not some strategies at all 3, and these are some new member for my team (of course i'm still working on it, and i'll update it when i got more time while working and....looking after my baby Critical _kingdra (with Ice beam + Focus energy + Surf + Dragon Pulse moveset already. 100% critical hit with 225% power will be more than enough) A beautiful Chinese lady (a totally Life Orb + Regenarator competitive moveset) And finally an alien (even he'll miss Knock Off and Defiant is still not working, Sword Dance and Sucker Punch is still too much...) there you go. yes. yes it is. It's still power enough to do the normal work you need, because you still got another 5 more members to back him up. But in the other hand, if you got the "right" Azumarill, like this one: ... it can solo at least 4 pkms in Samson's team. That's the different .

i think my gardevoir is slightly better (only more speed actually), and i don't want to change ability yet and i swear this is my most disappoint result (why this thing got 31 ATK IV???) and this thing- i got it in nature after hunting for 5 hours :v :v so i don't think i'm not lucky or not try hard "enough" :v :v. But NONE of my pokemons is shiny thought . That's the most frustrating part. *feeling jealous*

omg. Shiny AND good >= 3 IVs. You got my respect my friend. I got a box name "shiny", but ALL OF THEM SUCKS. and when i say "all of them", i mean "ALL" actually. About 10 to 15 eggs for one baby with acceptable IVs, and 1% chance to be shiny, so in average....1000 to 1500 eggs each pokemon? i don't want to think about it...

But you can only get this moveset at this moment: Hammer Arm/ Mach Punch/ Stone Edge/ Bulk Up or Substitue. That's the best right now . You can forget about Knock Off or Elemental Punches

well, I'll need some oh wait.... i got everything i need actually a very good idea. But i still don't know about few things: 1, without Power items and Destiny Knot, it's very hard to breed to get that define IVs you described (example, i only take some babies with >=30 IVs atk and speed, and the total defence stats with HP + def + sp.def >=65 for physical sweeper). So will you use any "illegal" ways to get these pokemons for our designed?? 2, what exactly "rupees" in Reborn can do?? i just think about prank others in the forum, but besides that- i got no idea 3, 2-5 days for ONE pokemon? and you breed on our own save files or you breed on your save file, and use "trading system" like DBan to transfer pkms from your save to our saves?? Because i prepare A LOT of pokemon and movesets for "the future release" on my save file (like 2 or 3 Smeargle prepared to breed for some new pokemon we wll get in epi 13), so i don't think i'll do it from start on another one's save. It's too boring

it's VERY rare. That's everything i can say. I met him just by walking around Azurine Island. There is no special way to find it. Maybe it's just 1% or even lower chance to meet one. And if you want a female to breed, good luck

well, i think Roserade will be much usefull with Attacking moveset rather than status stall. Maybe Toxic Spike is better than Toxic, and you can say Giga Drain will give it more HP lost to stall. But the fact is sweeper Roserade can kill things easily in 1 or 2 turns rather than Toxic. And Thunder Wave in-game is not eff like competitive (c'mon, if you got the right nature and EVs spread, you will be faster than almost everything in game). And Toxic stall- nothing can be better than Blissey (maybe Eviolet Chansey can, but we will have to wait for it)

why don't you breed a Chansey with Toxic and S-toss?? much easier right :v :v (well, everyone can learn Toxic include Mawile )

oh yeah, i can give you a perfect answer: you said "is there ANYONE that ACTUALLY EVs training his team?" the answer is YES. That's me :v :v :v. I myself "only" trained......80 pokemons with perfect IVs (not all sweeper, but some tankers and set-up users like Reuniclus or Clefable) but i stop playing the game for a while :v :v :v And it took 600 hours actually (but don't worry, i got some important things to do at the moment, like take care of my wife :v :v :v) EDIT: tks Azery, now I will give you a big hug for giving me some interesting idea :v And for any others that think about IV/moveset breed and EVs train can only create some "brainless" pokemons or "clone-perfect" things, I can only say: 1, everyone play the game the way you want. 2, What;s problem if I want my pokemons can be THE BEST of which they can do?? If you love your pkms so much, will you let them die TOO easily because they are not strong enough, even actually they CAN do much better? 3, Just have fun. That's the most important part. I still remember the moment when i breed 30 eggs and got one with almost perfect IVs. That's just a little hapiness for my hard work. If you don't happy to breed or EVs train, just ignore it

actually i have never seen Clefable using both Flame and Psychic on its moveset. Even with these moves, Clefable and easily coverage for Steel and Poison type, she does have a 4 moveslot- syndrome. The best thing about Clefable is similar to Reuniclus: set up/ heal/ sweep. So you need Wish or Moonlight for healing; Calm Mind/ Cosmic Power/ Charge Beam for set up; Moonblast for STAB, so you only got 1 slot left. You have to choose: Flame or Stored Power/ Psychic (actually Stored Power got more power than Psychic after 2 turns boost, and it can learn SP by level up) So i suggest 2 movesets: 1, Calm Mind/ Moonblast/ Flamethrower/ Moonlight 2, Cosmic Power/ Charge Beam/ Stored Power/ Moonlight or Wish Bold nature/ max HP and def EVs. Magic Guard is better than Unaware in game (in-game only ) That is the best Clefable you can get in-game. And both of them can work perfectly (actually i use my second moveset- very powerful) EDIT: she is too slow to use 4 atk moves to sweep. Don't use it.

just remember to bring something with Flame Body ability or Magmar Armor (reduce half steps required to hatch an egg) and one more teleport user to teleport right next to day-care house. And you will be fine

i got a Chansey with Toxic/ Seimictoss (breed through Mawile)/ Softboiled/ Heal Bell (from 7th street move seller) Trust me, i just don't have time to raise her level up. Or else----> best supporter in game. Think about it. Tanking any special move. Heal every status. And bulky as hell.
