Johnny and Ignizelka were both a little concerned by the images of the rubble-strewn landscapes, but Redwood put them at ease when he said that it wouldn't happen in the academy. That's when Johnny heard someone speak up, and then another person spoke up. The second person asked something along the lines of what he was going to ask, so he changed his question a little and then asked it. "Professor, along the lines of the previous question, what Job Shadowing opportunities will be available to those in each of the Programs?"

A group of figures can be seen moving in the distance, a tall figure among the distant group seemingly fighting with the other figures. Then, a small electrical zapping can be heard as lightning is fired from the tall figure, the electricity moving from one figure to the next, and each figure dropping as the lightning moves off of them, leaving just the caster standing. Then, the tall figure approaches. As it steps close enough to be clearly seen, it's revealed to be a humanoid goat with a set of copper armor, an indigo cape, and a copper bo-staff, as well as an irritated look on his face. The air smells slightly of ozone as his gauntlets seem to discharge the last of the energy into the air. Isaiah then spoke up. "Well, that was a bit more hassle than necessary. I had to fend off a few Antintermensionates as I came here." If one looked behind Isaiah, they might see a small charred pile of what used to be his opponents off in the distance.

That's a good analogy, but I'd say that it's more like a plate of flour and sugar mixed together than a plate of just sugar. the setting is 21st century Earth, as already stated in the OP. I've got an idea for how the premise of this RP could be further enhanced: The walls between reality and fiction are weakening, and the first signs of this weakening is small ripples appearing in the locations that are weakest, which are then called "Ripplepoints". Then, object start appearing and disappearing without warning near these ripples, with the ripples intensifying when this starts happening. Then, a step up from that could be characters appearing, seemingly manifesting from people's imaginations. And that could be where the RP begins, when the Characters manifest and the ripples intensify enough to reveal their true nature as cracks in the very fabric of spacetime itself, regions where what is fact and what is fiction are more fuzzy than normal, where dreams and nightmares turn into reality and vice versa. Now, this is just a base for the "Cake", and it needs fleshing out before it can become the backstory of this RP. I'll let you decide how to do that.

Appearance: 7'9", white fur, small white horns, broad muzzle, and wears Copper Armor under an indigo-colored robe. Weapon: a Copper Bo-Staff that's eight feet in length Skills: an extremely honed skill in battle due to his age, Electrical and Fire Magic, and a highly intelligent mind. Other: The Magic is not very strong in single projectiles, but he's able to make complex patterns from his projectiles that are akin to a "Bullet Hell".

Actually, Dragon/Fairy is considerably powerful when used in combination with the Ability Pixilate. Add in a Dragon-move-boosting Item as a Held Item, and you've got a force to be reckoned with, due to its resistance and/or immunity to most of the common Types, with Steel being one of the notable exceptions.

Speaking of Dragon/Fairy Types, there's only one Canon 'Mon that has Dragon/Fairy Typing, and it's a Mega. Probably for a reason.

Aaand then Fairies came along in Gen VI and made the Dragon Type a whole heckuva lot weaker.

Legendaries are a bit OP to be obtained in the early-to-mid-game...

My vote for the Dragon Type would be Lifoam's Final Evolution. And I'm guessing you set the Level Cap to either Lv. 10 or Lv. 15.

The only way Roobber would get the Fighting Type is if it lost the Fire Type when it gained the Fighting Type. Fire/Fighting is way too overused as a Starter Final Type.

Name:Jonathan Carbocas Age: 15 Gender: Male Program: Breeder Balance: 100 Team: Unregistered He looked a little puzzled at that last bit, but then realized that he hadn't scanned in his Partner, which he promptly did. When he did so, he was asked to enter the Nickname of the Pokemon, a message, a text field, and a small keyboard popping up onscreen. Please Enter the Pokemon's Nickname: He entered his Pokemon's name, and then hit Enter. Team Member Registry Complete! The Team Profile then popped up onscreen. Team Member 1: Name: Ignizelka Species: Fennekin Gender: Female Ability: Blaze Level: 8 Knows: Ember, Scratch, Tail Whip, Hypnosis Johnny then put away his Pokédex, sat back, and waited for Redwood to continue, having too many questions to ask any.

I'm going to have Johnny fill in the first bit of his Pokedex in my next Post, just as a heads-up for why the Trainer and Team Information is in the Post.
