I ran over Flo using Castform, Makuhita and Braixen. I had a Koffing, Litleo, and Noibat as my back ups but didn't need any of them. I pretty much just used Castform sunny day ember and switched to Maku for Cradily then sweeped the rest with sun up from Braixen.

I wish I had all of both series but unfortunately I can't find them.... The games and the anime series I really enjoyed them both actually.

Thank you all for the input. I will have to go down the line of Cleffa then so I can try to complete as much of the dex as I can.

Honestly I have no clue which to go with I never was really a fan of either. If anyone has an preferences or insight on which tends to work out better it would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the input. I was assuming a lot of 6 gen stuff wasn't implemented yet anyhow I just wanted to make sure of this being one of them. Now that I am aware that this happens with everyone I won't worry about resetting the fights to try and get them. xD Through my ignorance I found Florencia hmmm 6 times because I didn't get the lefties or anything.

This is quite understandable however I do believe that if its unfortunately not gonna work at any point it shouldn't be there just cuz it gives you a useless placeholder for an ability. Unfortunately the only thing that leaves the Fennekin line with is blaze. Don't get me wrong blaze is fine but variety is the name of the game.

So I'm not really sure if this should be here or not but I'll inquire here anyhow. So I have a Braixen with Magician as the ability however it seems that when I hit that the ability doesn't work. I never seem to get the item and I have tested this on several occasions with the 2nd leaders Cradily. I just want to see if anyone knows if the ability is supposed to be working already or not.

I took the survey for you. Unfortunately I am going to a Technical school so I don't have to deal with most of these things so I just answered based on the experience I had.

Grass in a night club? Preposterous it'll be blinking disco lights on the floor that attract Pokemon and you randomly run into them. xD

In all honesty my issue was that I usually just went with 6 pokemon that appealed to me at the time. After a while though I actually started to train every single pokemon I got in intervals of 10 and I would catch everything I could. So what my issue was the copious amounts of time it took to train everything that I caught. It wasn't so much of a time constraint as a oh shit I'm completely overrun with pokemon to still train.

Vinny's way works what you want to do is just get the pokesnax and waiting 5-20 minutes generally it seems to be 5 for me. However from what I saw you didn't have to wait in the house to get it to work go about your business as usually and it should eventually want to come with you after you give it the pokesnax.

Pffttt April fools joke? I think not. I will be a master and I will be employed as such. Pokemon is not a game it is a way of life and this job application will be treated as such. *pushes everyone out of the way to get going on it* In all seriousness though this is epic. Well before my save data corrupted last time I had made it through the first 2 gyms without anything being bought but I assume its going to get tougher to do that later.

Well so far I'm refraining from buying anything but Pokeballs. My goal for this game is to not have buy any potions and use the ones you find sparingly. As for money I'm not sure if dropping down to 3000 after getting magikarp really makes me feel drop dead broke. My only issue with it now is I'm not even sure If I'll bother using magikarp. I've kinda become partial to the idea of using Noibat instead. We'll see how things go though. I may have to rotate magikarp in. As for level caps 2-3 levels under the gym cap is what I am looking to do so from what I've experienced so far this is gonna be one hell of a run.

I actually used a similar tactic for this gym. Except I used Pachirisu with volt absorb and switched to a water pokemon over and over to heal Pachirisu and do some damage.

I seem to have lost a few fingers to the gator earlier. He seems quite feisty.

That was what I thought. I guess I just got lucky with getting a shiny one.

The Happiny you get from the event is it guaranteed to be shiny?
