  1. RINGDINGDINGDINGDING! Give the lassie a prize! The next winner is... PWB *throws confetti everywhere*
  2. Helzebeth - Wall Team With a hardened resolve and a steely look set in her eyes, Helzebeth nodded. Now, let's get down to business. Looking towards the crowd that Lady Jupiter-- or, rather, her sister had indicated earlier, she said, "I suppose we ought to begin lessons-- I'd like to imagine the damage and fear that a rain of arrows can bring to the enemy."
  3. It came towards him at a decent speed, but it was still fairly easy to dodge. Or should he repel it with say, his tail or another attack or-- Houndoom's eyes widened and he ducked just in time. Damn, bad time to think... And I don't really think fast, it seems. The hellhound watched the weapon warily, and his tail began to glow in anticipation. Huh. "Touche." That crazy wind was back-- blowing on her back, too. Frowning, and as if slowly waking up, Zephyr stood up slowly, ignoring the dragon's blood that now stained and dribbled down her legs. "All right, fine," she started, and held out her hand. Not for him to take-- for Umbreon to leap up onto her Trainer's shoulders, which she did. "Zephyr. Like, the wind god." She looked towards the group-- and defiantly, towards whatever force was awaiting them on the mountain... or... Wherever it was coming from. "Let's move out."
  4. Helzebeth - Wall Team Helze...? The girl in question looked at the other woman curiously, realizing that, oddly enough, she had not many qualms about the idea. Lady Jupiter was respectable and an interesting sort, sharing similar ideas with the half-elf. It also was the second time around that her name had been shortened... Affectionately, it seemed, as a nickname. There was something pleasant about it, now that she'd thought about it. Well, why in Graterras not, then? And what ever was it like to have a dear friend... A sister, a (human) companion? Her eyes lit up in delight at the thought, reminiscent of sunlight breaking through dark rain clouds at the end of a rampaging storm. "Sister, we will get through this battle-- hell, I'll be damned if we don't conquer the horde that approaches." Helzebeth said this with utmost confidence-- it might have been, for her part, her pride, but she truly did believe in the archer. "And, it is quite lonely being the only one wielding a bow and arrow in the group." The ranger never was quite good at being sentimental or expressing her feelings, but her enthusiasm showed-- there was a sort of spring to her step, and even Hunter's tail seemed to wag a bit.
  5. Oh-- Enya landed softly on the ground, conjuring a big, fluffy stuffed bunny to break her fall from the massive dragon. But now that everything was gone, she made the big bunny disappear too. The leather jacket covered her protectively as she lay on the ground, appearing to check her bear for injuries, before cuddling with it. The little girl was tired-- the power that surged through her from the strange boy earlier had only kept her from passing out. Slowly and shakily, she stood up and made her way to Miss Rose and Mister Damian. The young mister who gave her energy seemed to be healing her. There wasn't exactly much the lass could do, either... Except... Except... Yaaaaawn~ Enya curled up next to Miss Rose, cuddling Ace tightly and fondly, and fell asleep.
  6. Helzebeth - Wall Team Lady Jupiter's words about Hawke played in the girl's mind. Men like that... She had to resist rolling her eyes and wrinkled her nose instead. Chauvinistic pigs like that disgusted her-- those who used it as a front were far worse. To put a stop to the irritation she felt, which reflected in the growls Hunter had began to make, the huntress thought about Nemesis. "She's a beautiful creature though, I'll give her that," breathed Helzebeth, who'd always had a soft spot for beasts to begin with-- she had only vague memories of her beautiful elven mother and her beloved father had... Well, upped and gone too soon. They were, perhaps, the only non-beast beings whom she'd even consider as her family. In truth as well, despite her elven heritage, she felt a sort of kinship with the dwarf-father, Odin-- which she thought of as strange, but he seemed to be a decent man, unlike the rude minutemen in the villages outside or underneath her forest home. The ranger grinned a bit more as she looked at Hunter, who in turn, looked up at her, feeling her pride surge-- pride, and something akin to mischievous glee. "On the other hand, I like seeing the looks on people's faces when they're blessed with a chance at feasting their eyes on Hunter, here. He is, perhaps, one of the largest of his breed of wolf out there." The big wolf held its head and tail high in pride, which looked amusing for such a gruff and tough-looking beastly hound.
  7. Ah, so they were. Houndoom was way over... There. With the Dewott and a bunch of ice poles. Fire balls flew into the air, and she assumed he was using Will-O-Wisp for the Dewott to aim at and shoot down. Indeed, there was a Deino. Okay. Cool. Baby dragon. "Umbreon's a Dark type too, maybe they'd get along?" This she said casually, as if without thinking. Absentmindedly she looked towards the guns and took them back, checking on the magazines. Well. Most of em were still here. She forced herself not to think about where that last bullet had gone-- or did she really forget? "... Why're you telling me your name?" she asked, cautiously. Nobody'd really introduced themselves to her in a while-- a bullet(or really whatever weapon) to the face was the only greeting she'd known for a long while now. Deep cornflower blue eyes, half-filled with suspicion and partly still laced with the effects of what looked like drowsiness, locked with the guy-- rather, Gale's eyes. Might as well begin addressing him by his proper name.
  8. Helzebeth - Wall Team Helzebeth gave that a thought and smiled a bit more. After all, who grew without a little bit of difficulty in their lives? "What's got him under your skin? It seems that he irks you most out of everybody here," she asked casually, beginning to move towards the group Lady Jupiter had pointed out. The wolf tailed the half-elf immediately after looking at the Stilfe curiously again, turning his attention back on Helzebeth afterward.
  9. Heyyyyyyyyy. (prolly gonna kill the chain soon) Sheep mebbe
  10. Kinda did guess it(the title above your DP so XD), and that you seem to have a liking towards lightning-based powers lol. Gamma from KHR ftw Not revealing everything in one go is a pretty nice method too, I should really learn how to do that as well XD otherwise people'd know everything there is to know about my stories and characters. I'm learning so much haaaaaaaaaa *waves arms in the air like a moron, but a happy moron* Looking forward to it. The Forest of Knives. Helzebeth would probably scoff or wonder why the others would have such a rough time in a place she calls home XD (at the same time, I'm pretty curious about everyone else's stories. But, all in due time, I suppose. Hopefully the rest come on soon too lol)
  11. How strange this woman was. Helzebeth felt, for a girl, she herself didn't know much about women, not really having interacted with any often enough back on the Shattered Hills. Travelling with the group along the elven thief had been the longest time she'd got to be with another girl, and she never really bothered getting to know the pretty maiden much, as she was content with observing others from afar. She deemed it best to not question her fellow archer's footwear-- or lack thereof, as a result. There were other matters to discuss, and she didn't quite know what to expect from her, either. Stifles Conder, repeated the huntress mentally, in fascination. There was so much more to the wildlife on the Shadowed Isles-- or she'd just never really left home very much. That part about never having seen one before was true; she may have stumbled across the specie name in one of the books her father had back in their forest home, but she couldn't remember much about the magnificent bird-like creature. Hearing Lady Jupiter's suggestion, she agreed. "That sounds like an efficient plan of attack." The ranger thought for a while, then spoke up again. "How many men and women are experienced with the bow and arrow, and how many have no idea what they're doing?" Having had injuries himself once, Hunter could understand how the strange creature felt about its burn. Identifying it as some sort of avian-reptilian creature of some sort, he laid down once more by his master's feet and gave it some space, hopefully coming off as a friend and neither foe nor prey-- not that he would ever accept being viewed as prey. It was in his name-- he would and could never be prey. Thinking such a thought to himself, he held his great head high as he rested.
  12. Yeah, it does have a very rich feel to it, like there's lots to explore and lots to learn about. Oh oh, also pretty curious about those different lands, actually a little bit more about the Shattered Hills since that's where Helzebeth comes from, and I just remembered about how the Drow Elves come from there...?
  13. Understandable, I'd probably freak out if a huge bird suddenly dropped down out of nowhere. Could Hunter get some love like that too cause he's actually a pretty big wolf too then again he's still just like an overgrown wolf you could ride so nvm I actually do get how that feels, though for me I'm too lazy to write things down, or I magically lose ideas at the sight of blank paper(yeaaaah, this is kinda why the fanart's taking a while ;; I'm sorry sensei). Instead of things I need for life or to pass school, like math, things my mom tells me, I end up only recalling the stories I write, or the people or creatures I make up XD
  14. Just a lucky guess. XD so... Scales, and a few burnt feathers or fireproof feathers as a result? Also sensei, are you like... Writing a book or something? How do you keep track of all these characters and the gods and the creatures and the... *goes on and on*
  15. Helzebeth - Wall Team Ah. Now this, this was something indeed. Being somebody who men had once looked down upon when she was younger, she could understand the good woman's feelings. Lady Jupiter-- as she introduced herself-- had the appropriate skills as well as, perhaps, the persona that the half-Elf could work alongside. Somehow she couldn't appreciate the soft-spoken type of people easily enough. Even Hunter seemed to show respect for the archer, neither growling nor eyeing her suspiciously. The black fur on his body nearly stood on end in surprise however, as a monstrous bird landed by them. Its size and appearance confused him, and he approached it slowly and cautiously to get a sniff, just to familiarize himself with the new creature. The ranger felt she'd found a respectable partner in teaching these amateurs, and perhaps even a friendly rival or so of some sort in the fiery woman and held out her gloved hand, a small, angled smile spreading slowly on her lips. "With pleasure. My name is Helzebeth, and this is Hunter."
  16. It's actually great that the site's on again cause in a few weeks, college starts for me and I might not be able to post as much. orz Also. That bird. And commando girl. *claps* So there's some kind of dispute between the men and women there, or is it just Hawke and Jupiter having a sort of rivalry or ill-will towards each other? I'm also kinda curious about the Stilfes... Carnivorous, birds with a reptilian lineage of some sort?
